Chapter 235 Zhou Xinping's Past (2)

Then, without waiting for Han Wanying to answer, he turned around and ran away.

Han Wanying looked at the tiger's unconcealed guilty look and shook her head helplessly, but she was already planning to ask Lao Wu to prepare some beef. This tiger eats a lot, and if there is not enough beef, it will probably make a fuss.

Han Wanying had just sat down for a while when Zhou Xinping came over and sat down opposite her.

Seeing Zhou Xinping, Han Wanying handed him the notebook.

After Zhou Xinping took the notebook, he said, "Thank you for your help."

Han Wanying smiled and said, "It's okay. Besides, there's nothing much to sort out here. Most of it is neat and tidy."

Zhou Xinping said helplessly, "No one comes to this library, and you're a regular here, so there's nothing much to organize these books. But I get paid, so I have to do something. Otherwise, I won't feel at ease taking this money."

Han Wanying said aloud, "It will be fine."

Zhou Xinping also understood Han Wanying's implication. He said in a serious tone, "Pay attention to safety is the most important thing."

Han Wanying nodded and said calmly, "I know. What I cherish most is my life."

Zhou Xinping looked at Han Wanying and said with a smile, "That's good. In one's life, nothing is more important than being alive. After all, when you die, you can't take anything with you."

Han Wanying saw a hint of sadness in Zhou Xinping's eyes and knew that Zhou Xinping was probably thinking of his wife.

Han Wanying said to Zhou Xinping, "Yes, Grandpa Zhou, but there are many ways to live, right? We have to choose the way that makes us happy."

Zhou Xinping looked at Han Wanying's concerned eyes and scolded her with a smile, "What are you looking at me with? I'm an old man and I'm fine. You should just take care of yourself. Maybe I can even live to see your grandson born."

When Han Wanying heard this, she said silently in her heart: "This shouldn't be the case."

Zhou Xinping looked at the watch on his hand and said to Han Wanying, "It's almost time. I won't keep you for dinner. Go back quickly."

Han Wanying said jokingly, "Grandpa Zhou, you've changed now. You used to keep me for dinner, but why are you kicking me out today?"

Zhou Xinping said unhappily, "Because you talked too much today. Okay, okay, let's go."

Han Wanying left immediately upon seeing this. Looking at Zhou Xinping's expression, she knew that he might not be in the mood to keep her for dinner today. She just wanted to ease the atmosphere, and seeing that Zhou Xinping was still arguing with her, she could finally breathe a sigh of relief.
