Chapter 236 Master Su was caught speaking ill of others

Han Wanying rode her bicycle back to the machinery factory. She gave herself a real day off today, so she went straight back to her home and planned to read.

She hadn't finished reading the book she found in the library today, so she registered and brought the book back, planning to continue reading it today.

When going upstairs, she ran into Su Yi's wife. She looked at Han Wanying in surprise and said, "Han girl, why are you back so early today?"

Han Wanying smiled and said, "I'm taking a day off today. I plan to come back and rest for a while so that I can have more energy to work seriously tomorrow. Aunt Su, where are you going?"

Madam Su said cheerfully, "Yes, a good balance between work and rest is best. You were just too serious before, but that's not good. You still need to take a good rest."

After instructing Han Wanying, he continued to answer the question she had just asked: "I'm going to deliver some information to your Uncle Su. You see, this guy said yesterday that he would take this thing away, but he forgot to take it this morning. He came back for lunch at noon just to get this information, but he forgot to take it when he left. I saw it when I was packing up just now. I don't plan to deliver it to him now. I don't know if he will remember to take it when he comes back to get it."

Seeing this, Han Wanying smiled and said, "Maybe Uncle Su has been busy lately, so he often forgets things. It will be fine after he's done with this."

Madam Su nodded and said to Han Wanying, "I think so too. Okay then, Han girl, go back and have a good rest. I'll go and deliver the information first."

After saying goodbye to Mrs. Su, Han Wanying returned to her home, had a simple dinner, washed up, and went to bed, then lay down and read the novel she brought back today.

Han Wanying went to bed early, but fell asleep very late. When she put down the book in her hand and looked at the time, she found that it was already early morning. She had unknowingly finished reading the book she brought back today.

Looking at the dark sky outside the window, Han Wanying put away her book and prepared to go to bed.

The next morning, Han Wanying got up, packed up, and went to the laboratory. She had no involvement in the harvester machine. She had not originally intended to take credit for it, but Su Yi and others were unwilling to do so. When writing the materials, Han Wanying's name was still written as the first person in charge.

Seeing how insistent her three uncles were, Han Wanying had no choice but to agree. Since that was the case, she felt embarrassed to do nothing, so she recently put down what she was doing and helped them finish up.

Su Yi looked at the hand that came and saw Han Wanying looking at their research materials on the table. He said softly, "Han girl, you came here so early today?"

Han Wanying nodded and replied, "I got up early today, so I thought I'd come to work early."

Su Yi nodded happily when he heard Han Wanying's words. Then he thought of something and looked at Han Wanying with resentment and said, "What did you say to your Aunt Su yesterday? Your Aunt Su scolded me when she went home yesterday. You are really putting me in trouble."

While Han Wanying was still wondering what she had said to Aunt Su yesterday, Su Yi continued, "Look at you. Not only did you skip work, but you even told Aunt Su that you were taking a day off. Aunt Su said that you, a little girl, knew how to balance work and rest. But I, someone your age, don't know how to take care of myself, and I'm busy all day like a young man."

Han Wanying finally realized what Su Yi was talking about, and said with an awkward smile: "I haven't thought about this clearly, but what Aunt Su said makes sense. Uncle Su, you really should take care of your health. Aunt Su is doing this for your own good."

Seeing that Han Wanying was about to start chanting, Su Yi quickly interrupted and said, "Alright, alright, go back and listen to your Aunt Su chanting. Now I have to listen to you chanting too. My ears are about to get calluses. Don't you think I don't want to rest? You're not even the factory director, you're just like Zhou Paopi. I can count the number of vacations in a year on my fingers..."

Han Wanying was originally listening to Su Yi with a smile, but suddenly she noticed something and winked at Su Yi frantically. Su Yi looked at Han Wanying and said, "What's wrong with you? Is your eye cramp?"

Then Su Yi heard a voice behind him, "Oh? I didn't know that Master Su had such a strong grudge against me."

Su Yi knew who was behind him without turning around, and whispered to Han Wanying, "Why didn't you close the door? Didn't you remind me?"

Han Wanying: “…”

Is it possible that you didn't close the door when you came in? And my eyes were almost twitching as I was giving you a hint just now, but you didn't understand what I meant.

Su Yi turned his head stiffly and found that behind him was not only the factory director, but also Assistant Bai and Kang Hong and Wu Chenling who were watching the show.

Su Yi smiled awkwardly and said to the factory director, "How could that be possible? I was just talking about the people from our neighboring machinery factory. Our machinery factory is the best in the city. I'm so happy to have such a good factory director. How could I possibly have any objections to you?"
