Lingfa Star
Lingfa Star is an extremely important world under the command of Buddhism, because Lingfa Star is really too big. In the era when there was no satellite system to see the global appearance, the immortal cultivators on Lingfa Star only felt that Lingfa Star was infinitely long and infinitely wide.
Even the creatures on Lingfa Star are countless.
Such a wide world, a world with such a large number of creatures, is naturally extremely important to Buddhism.
And Lingfa Star is indeed like this. In the hands of Buddhism, Lingfa Star is full of talents. Even Buddhist cultivators in the Bodhisattva realm have hundreds of them. It won't take many years for Bodhisattvas to ascend to the fruit position. The main one is the prosperity of Buddhism.
And Fakong Bodhisattva is a very famous Buddhist cultivator on Lingfa Star. He was born in poverty, but became famous at a young age. After worshipping Buddhism, he once defeated all the heroes at the Buddhist Dharma Conference. He also traveled all over Lingfa Star, visited many eminent monks, discussed Buddhist principles with them, and became famous all over the world.
Almost everyone believed that Fakong Bodhisattva would be the next true Buddha on Lingfa Star. The immeasurable calamity (the heavenly calamity during the calamity period) that Buddhist practitioners feared the most would not be a difficult task for him.
Until the news of the fall of Lingjing Star came, Lingfa Star was shaken. You must know that Lingjing Star is a symbol of the prosperity of Buddhism. Tens of thousands of years ago, the eighteen Bodhisattvas of Lingfa Star came to Lingjing Star to preach and took Lingjing Star in one fell swoop, turning Lingjing Star from a place of evil demons into a Buddhist country. As for the eighteen Bodhisattvas, almost all of them achieved true Buddhahood. Lingfa
Star was full of discussions, and several top Buddhist temples were discussing to take back Lingjing Star, so they filmed Fakong to go and investigate the news.
But what shocked everyone was that after Fakong came back from Lingjing Star, he not only did not talk about Lingjing Star, but instead began to preach new Buddhism to all Buddhist practitioners.
Buddhism is also quite tolerant within a certain range, and is willing to let Buddhism introduce some new Buddhism to enhance the supplement of Buddhism.
However, the new Buddhism that Fakong said is not a supplement to the existing Buddhism, but to overthrow the foundation of the existing Buddhism.
For example, the theory of cause and effect and good karma in Buddhism. In the early days of Buddhism, in order to spread the teachings, Buddhism generally had to rely on the local high-level officials, so it proposed the theory of cause and effect and good karma, saying that a person suffers in this life because he did not cultivate good karma in the previous life, so he could not get good results. Therefore, it advocated that believers in Buddhism should be patient in this life, willing to eat this bitter fruit, and also work hard to cultivate good karma so that they can get good results in the next life.
This kind of Buddhist theory is deeply loved by the rulers, so it is enough to make the teachings go smoothly, and it is one of the core theories of Buddhism. However,
Buddhism has not proved the existence of reincarnation, and the birth of the soul is still an extremely mysterious thing, which Buddhism tries its best to avoid.
Now Fakong's new Buddhism faces this problem directly, because he saw ordinary people in Lingjing Star, even mortals, do not need to wait until the next life to get a happy life, they only need to improve productivity and have abundant material.
In this way, Fakong's Buddhism undoubtedly touches the core theory of Buddhism and is a poaching behavior against Buddhist theory.
This behavior naturally angered the Buddhist sect. Other Bodhisattvas on Lingfa Star launched a crusade against him and debated with Fakong about Buddhism, but the result was that Fakong won a great victory. Fakong could not give a perfect answer to the many questions raised by Fakong.
Of course, Fakong could not answer those questions either. They were all paradoxes. No one would answer them on Blue Star.
The great monks were defeated, and Lingfa Star was greatly shocked. In addition, Fakong was originally a top streamer, so Fakong's new Buddhism spread rapidly on Lingfa Star, and eventually attracted the True Buddha to personally imprison Fakong.

Lingfa Star, Foyin Temple
Fakong sat in a seven-story pagoda in Foyin Temple, surrounded by golden Buddha patterns, and was almost unable to move. Fakong just sat in it with his eyes closed.
There were six monks around him chanting Buddhist scriptures, mainly the Duhua Sutra, supplemented by other Buddhist classics.
"Brother Xuanfa"
"Abbot Xuanfa"
an old monk walked in, and the six monks stood up and saluted. This person was the abbot of Foyin Temple, Xuanfa Bodhisattva, and also the top Bodhisattva of Lingfa Star.
"Has the evil spirit in Fakong not been cleared away yet?"
"Brother Xuanfa, Fakong has evil spirits in his heart, not external demons. Even the Sutra of Transmigration is ineffective against him,"
said a monk. If it was external demons, it would be easy to deal with. What we are afraid of is that the evil spirits like Fakong are self-generated and can never be eliminated. Moreover, Fakong himself is a top monk in Buddhism and is almost immune to Buddhism.
"Ah"
Xuanfa sighed, not knowing what to say for a moment. Fakong was brought back to Foyin Temple by his senior brother. He also watched Fakong grow up. Everything was fine, how could it suddenly become like this? "
Fakong"
Xuanfa walked in front of Fakong and sat down opposite him. Fakong opened his eyes.
"Uncle Master"
"Fakong, you still don't know your mistakes?"
"Uncle Master, I am not wrong"
"Fakong, why don't you know your mistakes? The questions you asked all have answers. They are all the calamities of those people. Do you understand?"
Xuanfa said. Fakong changed the train problem to a carriage, which means the same thing. Xuanfa and the others can't make a choice, but they have a new answer, that is, whether the carriage hits the side with more people or less people, it can be said to be their own calamity. It
was because they didn't cultivate good deeds in their previous life, so they had this calamity in this life, and the logic was rounded up again.
"Uncle Master, it's easy to lie to others, but it's hard to lie to yourself"
Fakong said. How can a word of calamity explain all the problems in the world?
If the children in the train problem died because of a calamity, then what about the poor people? They lived in hardship, but they encountered technological civilization and suddenly became rich. Is that a calamity?
Everything is a calamity, so where does the calamity come from? Is it destined by heaven? But if so, what is the purpose of their cultivation? They are all born mortals, and mortals should die in their seventies and eighties. How can they live for thousands of years? This logic doesn't make sense.
"Fakong, this is not a question of deceiving others and deceiving oneself, but the truth of the world is like this. Lingfa Star, bathed in the light of my Buddhist sect, has ended the war and there is no killing. Whether it is mortals or Buddhist practitioners, they all live and work in peace and contentment. This is the supreme merit..."
Xuanfa continued. Compared with the world of other cultivators, Lingfa Star is a paradise on earth. Although there are disputes among the major Buddhist temples, there will be no wars, and there will be no displacement of people. Buddhist disciples also try their best to help the people. Isn't this good enough?
Fakong turned a deaf ear to all this. He once thought that the world under the rule of Buddhism was beautiful, but after going to Lingjing Star, he no longer thought so. In his opinion, the beauty of Lingjing Star is based on the poverty of all people. This
kind of beauty is illusory. Only the beauty of Lingjing Star, which is based on the prosperity of all people, is the real beauty.
"Ah"
Xuanfa saw Fakong's expression and knew that it still didn't make sense, so he sighed again.
“Uncle-master, I did nothing wrong, and I have never betrayed Buddhism. My devotion to Buddha is evident to all. I just want to fill in the gaps in Buddhist theory and make Buddhism truly flourish.”
“Fakung, do you know what the things you proposed are called in the world of immortal cultivators?”
“Saint.”
“Since you know that, why are you still stubborn? No one in the world of immortal cultivators is willing to be a saint. Everyone has selfish desires, and Buddhism is no exception.”
“Uncle-master, I always feel that Buddhism is nobler and greater than the world of immortal cultivators. What the immortal cultivators cannot do, we Buddhists should be able to do.”
“But, this is something that cannot be done.”
“How do you know you can’t do it if you don’t try?”
“Fakung, what if you try and can’t do it? Have you ever thought about the situation of our Buddhism?”
Xuanfa scolded angrily. What did he regard Buddhism as? If he had tried and couldn’t do it, it was not enough to just say “you can’t do it”. It would cause confusion in Buddhist thought and would bring very serious consequences.
"Forget it, I won't say more to you. The evil demon in your heart originated from Lingjing Star, so I, the Buddha, am ready to form a Buddhist army to conquer the evil demon."
"Uncle Master..."
"What, do you still want to excuse them? Lingjing Star is originally the territory of our Buddhism. Those immortal cultivators killed countless Buddhist disciples on Lingjing Star and cut off our Buddhist heritage. This is already an endless hatred."
Xuanfa said. Don't mention anything else. Just a dispute over the orthodoxy is enough to make countless people fight their brains out. Starting a war is nothing more than an excuse.
"Amitabha..."
Fakong chanted the Buddha's name sadly. He felt that Lingjing Star would not be the opponent of Lingfa Star. Lingfa Star was too strong. How he hoped that this war would not start. He also wanted to use Lingjing Star to prove his new Buddhism.
