Chapter 46 Delivering Medicine to Uncle

"I need to register for driving school in three days, I should prepare the medicine for my uncle as soon as possible." After accompanying Wang Li to driving school, Xu Chen thought to himself on the way home. Having become a 'human,' he naturally knew that middle-aged men often felt powerless in front of their wives, and Xu Chen was determined to change Wang Yuanchao's situation. Looking at the already late sky, he walked home. "The pharmacies are probably closed by now, I'll buy the medicine tomorrow." Xu Chen thought for a moment, deciding there was no need to rush.

Back home, Xu Jianguo was reading the newspaper on the sofa. His son had been very filial lately, buying him some tea, saying it was good for his health. After drinking it, he felt it really did help; he felt younger and younger, and he was always looking forward to getting off work early to see his wife. Xu Jianguo thought to himself, "This brat accidentally bought me what I needed most, haha." Seeing Wang Rong return home, Xu Jianguo felt a surge of heat in his lower abdomen, but he still forced himself to finish dinner with his family. After dinner, Xu Jianguo sent Xu Nan and Xu Chen out to buy something for his younger brother, anxiously saying, "Nannan, Chenchen, hurry up and go to the supermarket to buy some diapers for Ming'er; we're out of diapers." Upon hearing this, Wang Rong's face immediately turned bright red. Xu Nan was very puzzled; she and her brother had always taken care of Ming'er, and they clearly had plenty of diapers. Xu Chen noticed Xu Nan's confusion and immediately pulled her out of the house. On the way, Xu Nan said curiously to Xu Chen, "Brother Chen, Dad's acting really strange today." Xu Chen replied mysteriously, "Not strange at all." Xu Nan frowned her pretty eyebrows, tilted her head, and said to Xu Chen, "Do you know something, Brother Chen?" Xu Chen nodded and whispered in Xu Nan's ear, "Those two are about to engage in the most primal human activity. Tell me, can we still stay at home?" Xu Nan felt the heat emanating from her brother's body and heard such embarrassing words. Her fair face turned bright red. Xu Chen looked at his sister teasingly, "Sis, it seems you're still a little girl. You get shy so easily." Xu Nan pretended to be angry and lightly hit Xu Chen, then regained her composure and said, "So how long are we going to stay outside?" Xu Chen replied, "I don't know. Let's wait for Dad's call."

After their two children left, Xu Jianguo eagerly picked up Wang Rong and rushed into the bedroom. Wang Rong patted Xu Jianguo's back and whispered, "Old Xu, why don't you take a shower first?" Xu Jianguo shook his head vigorously, then said softly to his wife, "Wife, I've noticed you're getting more and more beautiful lately." Wang Rong rolled her eyes at Xu Jianguo, then said with some worry, "Old Xu, you can't get hit again, or we'll have four kids." Xu Jianguo nodded, hurriedly ran to the study to get his briefcase, took out the condoms inside, and then quickly ran back to the bedroom to say to Wang Rong, "Rongrong, look, I've got everything ready." Wang Rong no longer held back, wrapped her arms around Xu Jianguo's neck, and pulled him onto the bed. Soon, the room was filled with the scent of passion. An hour later, exhausted Wang Rong fell into a deep sleep in Xu Jianguo's arms. Xu Jianguo wanted to light a cigarette, but then he suddenly remembered his two children whom he had "kicked out of the house." He quickly called Xu Chen: "Chenchen, have you bought everything?" Xu Nan and Xu Chen had already bought everything and were waiting for Xu Jianguo's call. After answering the phone, they immediately replied that they had bought everything and then headed home.

The next morning, Xu Chen went out for his exercise. After finishing, he took a car to his usual spot—the pharmacy where he frequently picked up his medicine. To be fair, taking traditional Chinese medicine requires even more caution. However, Xu Chen used spiritual fire to refine the herbs, imbuing them with his spiritual energy. This not only greatly enhanced the herbs' effects but also completely neutralized their toxicity. Although he couldn't refine medicine, he always had his own spiritual fire. Upon arriving at the pharmacy, he greeted the owner, an elderly man, as usual: "Old man, the usual." The old man was genuinely surprised. Previously, he hadn't interfered with what prescriptions people got because of professional ethics. This young man, however, came every few days to get aphrodisiacs. Was he having health problems or did he have too many girlfriends? The old man thought to himself, and it's understandable that he would have such thoughts. He not only dispensed medicine but was also a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner. Some young people would come to him for treatment, and when he felt their pulse, he would find they were pregnant. He saw quite a few young people who treated pregnancy as an illness. "Young people these days, so open-minded," the old man shook his head, dispensing the medicine for Xu Chen. After finishing, he couldn't help but ask, "Young man, I've seen you come here to get this medicine many times. You are...?" Seeing his puzzled expression, Xu Chen chuckled softly and replied, "Old man, it's not me. I don't have that problem. Otherwise, would I dare come to you for medicine? Wouldn't that be like announcing it to the world?" The old man deeply agreed. They exchanged money and medicine, and Xu Chen took the medicine home. His parents were at work, and his sister, Xu Nan, was at school, about to start her internship. The school would definitely give her some instructions beforehand. Xu Chen went straight into the bedroom, locked the door, and then took out six portions of medicinal herbs, refining each into powder using spiritual fire. Next, he searched for tea leaves that someone had given him in Xu Jianguo's study, took out small jars he had bought beforehand, filled each jar with tea leaves, added the medicinal powder, and then shook them vigorously. In this way, the matter of the medicine was considered to be completed. The reason he didn't refine the pills was threefold: firstly, pills take too long to form; secondly, refining pills would also consume his spiritual energy; and thirdly, people like Xu Jianguo and Wang Yuanchao usually drank tea, so refining the herbs into powder and mixing it with tea leaves would be a convenient way to give them away. Otherwise, if the pills were exposed, he would have to spend time explaining himself.
