As soon as get out of class ended, Su Qingqing went to the playground as usual. As always, the silly boy Li Wei would appear there whenever he didn't have class. Sure enough, she spotted him anxiously waiting again. Su Qingqing smiled and quickly went to hug Li Wei, but then realized his arms weren't around her waist. Li Wei gently pushed her away with one hand, picked up the roses he had bought with the other, and stammered, "Qingqing... can... can you be my girlfriend?" Su Qingqing was stunned. The silly boy had moved things forward on his own, which was a bit unexpected. She had originally planned to maintain the ambiguous relationship for a few more days before confessing herself. Looking at the scene before her... She smiled gently at the roses, took one with her delicate hand, smelled it, then looked up at Li Wei and nodded shyly. Li Wei cheered happily and pulled her into a tight embrace. Su Qingqing held the roses in one hand and hugged Li Wei with the other. Li Wei whispered to Su Qingqing, "Qingqing, let's meet my brothers tomorrow. If it weren't for their encouragement, I would never have been able to get such a good girlfriend like you." Su Qingqing looked at his sincere eyes, a hint of guilt flashing in her own. What a silly boy, he'd jumped into this trap step by step. "Okay, you decide." The two held hands and began to express their love on the playground.
After class, Xu Chen and Wang Li returned to the lawn to chat. Xu Chen looked at Su Qingqing and Li Wei, "Looks like our encouragement yesterday worked." Xu Chen said to Wang Li with a smile. Wang Li burst into laughter, "Chenchen, do you really think that if you give a girl hamburgers and milk tea every day, she'll confess her feelings?" Xu Chen nodded, seriously talking nonsense, "Yeah, Lili, I'm still glad I bought you hamburgers and milk tea in the park back then, otherwise, how would you have confessed to me?" Wang Li laughed heartily, "Chenchen, stop talking, or my stomach will hurt from laughing." Xu Chen touched Wang Li's forehead, looking at her with a gentle expression. After a while, Wang Li calmed down, and the two hugged each other, quietly looking around. At this moment, Su Qingqing watched Li Wei turn and return to his dormitory. Once he was out of sight, she walked away to a trash can, threw away the roses, and left the school. Coincidentally, Xu Chen noticed her action of throwing away the flowers. His mind immediately filled with questions, so he mentally said to Xiaobai, "Xiaobai, check Su Qingqing at Peking University, get her file, and send it to my phone." Wang Li noticed his odd behavior and quickly asked, "What's wrong, Chenchen?" Xu Chen said to her, "I remember Li Wei telling us that his girlfriend is from Peking University." Wang Li nodded and asked, "And then?" Xu Chen picked up his phone and turned on the screen. "This is a file I just asked someone from the special forces team to help me look up. There's no mention of Li Wei's girlfriend in it." Wang Li looked over and saw a folder named "Su Qingqing's File from Peking University." Seeing Xu Chen's puzzled expression, Wang Li said softly, "Okay, maybe the girl is hesitant to tell Li Wei directly because of her educational background?" Xu Chen agreed that Wang Li's words made sense. Besides, it wasn't necessary for him to meddle and go to such lengths to investigate a girl. So he abandoned the idea of having Xiao Bai continue to gather information about Su Qingqing throughout the city and took Wang Li's hand as they returned to the small villa.
The next morning during self-study, Li Wei excitedly whispered to the group, "Brothers, let's meet at the Brilliant Bar near the school today. Qingqing said she's treating us to drinks." Zhao Weimin and Wang Aihua exchanged a glance, then looked at Li Wei sideways. "Weizi, did you lose the drinking contest last time and want to have another one? Why a bar? Why not have a proper meal?" Li Wei scratched his head. "Qingqing said it. She said the secret to getting along with guys is in drinking." Wang Aihua laughed heartily and said, "Thank you so much, sister-in-law! Okay, let's meet today..." "Weimin, Chendi, and I arrived on time." Xu Chen nodded and continued reading his textbook. Zhao Weimin looked at Xu Chen with envy and said to everyone, "Chendi's memory is beyond my reach, even for someone who considers himself a genius." Wang Aihua nodded in agreement. Xu Chen, seeing everyone staring at him like he was a monkey, was speechless. Just as he was about to read the next page, a love letter fell from the boy in front of him onto his book. Xu Chen picked up the letter and began to read it carefully. At the same time, several girls in the classroom were anxiously waiting for the result. Soon, the letter and Xu Chen's reply arrived on the table. The girls opened the reply, and soon their eyes were filled with disappointment. Zhao Weimin patted Xu Chen on the shoulder, "Chendi, it seems that being too charming isn't a good thing. It must be hard to refuse someone willing to be a secret lover, right?" Xu Chen nodded heavily, "Yes, I really don't know what to do." Li Wei looked at Xu Chen speechlessly, "You are truly a modern-day Versailles master."
After class in the afternoon, Xu Chen and his friends returned to their dorm to play games online, looking forward to seeing their younger siblings that evening. Soon, night fell, and the group headed to the Brilliant Bar. At the entrance of the bar, a man who looked like a waiter was explaining some matters to Su Qingqing. Su Qingqing nodded repeatedly, eagerly watching Li Wei and the others arrive. A moment later, Zhao Weimin's Volkswagen Magotan drove into the bar's parking lot, and the group got out of the car. Su Qingqing hurriedly went to greet them with a smile, while Li Wei introduced them to everyone. The scene seemed normal. After greeting and smiling, Xu Chen suddenly remembered the scene of the woman throwing flowers at him that night, and with doubt in his mind, he entered the bar with the others.
