Wen Shu's expression remained cold. "It's better for Miss Lin not to know. If I were to list them out one by one, I'm afraid Miss Lin wouldn't be able to handle it."
Lin Jingyu's expression changed as expected. "Wen Shu, do you know how to write the words 'shame' and 'honor'? I heard you didn't have a mother growing up, so no one taught you, right?"
Wen Shu's expression changed instantly. "Miss Lin has been taught since she was a child, but in terms of manners, she doesn't seem to be much better than me."
Lin Jingyu stared at Wen Shu: "This is the first time I've realized you're so eloquent. Looks like you haven't been slapped enough."
“Miss Lin has played many roles, so she must have been slapped quite a few times,” Wen Shu retorted. “However, she doesn’t seem to have learned much from it.”
Lin Jingyu choked for a moment, then gave a soft hum, "Wen Shu, remember your sharp tongue, you'll get what's coming to you eventually."
Wen Shu fell silent.
In just a few seconds, Wen Shu thought of Zhong Wanwan.
Zhong Wanwan almost drove him to desperation; what if it were a big star like Lin Jingyu...?
She said, "Miss Lin, I have no intention of being your enemy, why do you have to harm me like this?"
“You slept with Li Duo, so you've offended me.”
Wen Shu moved her lips, but no words came out.
Lin Jingyu added, "That night, I saw him in the bedroom with you. I hate the way Li Duo called your name, I hate how absorbed he was, and I hate the way he looked at you."
“I accept that he has alternatives, but I cannot accept that he is so invested in an alternative when he is venting.”
Lin Jingyu leaned back and looked at her, saying, "You are the most annoying person I have ever met."
Wen Shu tried to explain: "President Li has no other feelings for me. I was forced into being with him in the first place."
"Forced?" Lin Jingyu chuckled. "Did he force you to take off your clothes? Force you to get into his bed? It's an honor for you to have my man sleep with you, and you still dare to say you were forced?"
Wen Shu closed her eyes briefly, "Miss Lin..."
Lin Jingyu interrupted directly, "What's that saying again? 'Having both the desire and the obligation'? You really know how to use this trick on men!"
Wen Shu gritted her teeth, "I didn't!"
Lin Jingyu laughed again, her smile incredibly sweet. "Whether you have it or not is unimportant. What's most important is that Li Duo knows you do."
"If President Li knew that you were the one who tried to throw that bowl of soup in my face, but you managed to stop it and ended up spilling it all over yourself, he would be very surprised that Miss Lin could actually pick up that bowl of soup."
Lin Jingyu didn't mind at all, "Do you think Li Duo will still believe what you say starting tonight?"
Looking at her beautiful face, Wen Shu suddenly thought of her fans. Did they know what their idol, whom they worshipped so madly, was like in private?
"Ms. Wen will have to work hard until next Friday."
Upon hearing this, Wen Shu understood that Lin Jingyu would definitely not be discharged from the hospital before next Friday.
In the dead of night, Lin Jingyu opened her eyes in her hospital bed. She saw the figure of Le Yan on the bed beside her and suddenly reached out and slammed the stainless steel fruit knife she had prepared the night before onto the ground.
The sticker made a sound, startling the person in the care bed awake.
Wen Shu jumped up immediately, "Who?"
She rushed over and saw a fruit knife on the ground. Just as she picked it up, she saw Lin Jingyu sit up, looking terrified. "What do you want to do?"
The next second, the door was pushed open, and Lin Jingyu's assistant, who had been there all along, saw the knife in Wen Shu's hand at a glance. She screamed and rushed over to protect Lin Jingyu, "What are you doing? Help! Murder!"
Wen Shu paused, "I... just came over to check after hearing the noise..."
She stared at the two people in front of her, and before the nurse arrived, she saw bloodstains on the blade.
She put the knife on the bedside table.
The nurses and the on-duty doctor rushed over, asking, "What's going on? Why is it so noisy? What time is it?"
The assistant pointed at Wen Shu and said, "That woman just tried to kill Miss Lin with a knife. I saw it with my own eyes!"
Wen Shu spoke up, "Doctor, do you have any band-aids? Miss Lin's hand is injured."
The nurse paused for a moment, then reached out and took out a band-aid, handing it to her.
Wen Shu walked to Lin Jingyu's side and forcibly pulled out her hand from under the blanket. There was a bleeding scratch on one of her fingers.
Lin Jingyu glared at her, trying to pull back but failing.
Wen Shu said, "Miss Lin, try not to put the knife on the bedside table. It's not just a matter of waking yourself up if you bump into it, but how can you get hurt?"
After applying the bandage, Wen Shu looked at her assistant and asked, "What did that girl just shout? Murder? Where's the body?"
The assistant was speechless, looking at the knife and then at Lin Jingyu, unable to utter a word for a long time.
Lin Jingyu spoke up at the right moment: "I'm sorry, doctor, she was still half asleep and thought something was wrong when she saw the knife."
The doctor said a few words and then left.
Wen Shu took the knife from her. "Miss Lin, you are delicate and fragile. Please don't touch such dangerous things."
The assistant pursed her lips. "I brought it over to peel fruit for Miss Lin..."
Lin Jingyu said to his assistant, "You can go out now."
After the assistant left, Lin Jingyu spoke up: "Wen Shu, I'm sorry to have woken you up. I hope to have a more substantial breakfast tomorrow, since nutrition is very important to me."
Wen Shu nodded: "I've got it. I hope I won't disappoint Miss Lin."
When Lin Jingyu opened her eyes, she saw Wen Shu standing in front of her, and she was surprised to see that Wen Shu had changed her clothes. When did she change her clothes?
"Ms. Lin, I briefly inquired about your habits with your assistant. This is your breakfast. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions."
