Su Ying's expression changed upon hearing her last question. "What nonsense are you spouting? Whom have I stood up for? Every time I've come to you, it's for your own good."
Su Ying took a step back as she spoke, "You're not only ungrateful, but you also slander me! I've never seen anyone like you!"
"Didn't I warn you to stop using the guise of doing what's best for me to try and harm me? You've failed to learn your lesson time and time again!"
Wen Shu's face tightened, and she stared at Su Ying, saying, "Since you're ignoring what I say, then this time I'll teach you a lesson!"
Su Ying didn't care at all.
Wen Shu's grandmother had said this many times before.
To Su Ying, Wen Shu's threat was completely harmless.
It's just a couple of scare tactics; anyone can say those.
If they were to keep their word, they probably would have done it ten years ago.
After threatening him for ten years, and still saying the same thing, how could Su Ying be afraid?
She would leave once she had said what she needed to say. No matter how they threatened her before she finished speaking, Su Ying remained unmoved.
Wen Shu glanced at her and said, "Remember what I just said. Don't call and say that I'm trying to destroy you, drive you to the brink, and ruin your life!"
After Wen Shu finished speaking, she turned and walked away.
Behind her, Su Ying glanced at Wen Shu speechlessly, then reached out and tucked her hair behind her ear.
