Once that video is released, Lin Jingyu's career will be ruined.
Wen Shu still remembers the descriptions of Lin Jingyu from the outside world, or rather, from Lin Jingyu's encyclopedia page, when she first searched for Lin Jingyu.
Such terms as "successor to the Jade Girl," "pure goddess," and "silly beauty."
Thinking of those titles and honors associated with innocence, Wen Shu felt incredibly ironic.
I imagine Lin Jingyu must be feeling incredibly anxious right now.
Looking at Lin Han in front of her, Wen Shu couldn't help but sigh, "It's true that people of the same kind understand each other."
Ma Biao understood people like him; only he knew how to restrain those who used despicable means to achieve their goals.
Wen Shu found Lin Han's notification-like approach to reconciliation particularly amusing.
How did he become so confident that she would agree to his conditions that he dared to issue her a settlement notice in such an attitude and tone?
Before Wen Shu could speak, a person slowly strolled out from the side.
With his hands in his pockets and his chin slightly raised, Ma Biao glanced at Lin Han and couldn't help but purse his lips.
Ma Biao hates it when someone is taller or more handsome than him.
Clearly, men with outstanding appearances like Lin Han and Li Duo are the type that Ma Biao dislikes.
Ma Biao deliberately glanced at Lin Han out of the corner of his eye, then snorted coldly and said, "Didn't they say the Lin family was so rich they were rolling in money, yet so poor they only had money left?"
"What? You think you can just settle things with a million? Do you know how much harm that video caused my Shushu?"
When Wen Shu heard him say the word "Shu Shu," she couldn't help but shudder.
Lin Han stared at Ma Biao; he didn't recognize Ma Biao.
But his attitude was too arrogant.
Lin Han asked, "May I ask who you are?"
Ma Biao stood next to Wen Shu and retorted, "Can't you tell who I am? Who do you think I am?"
Ma Biao deliberately moved closer to Wen Shu, creating the illusion that they were close.
Wen Shu glanced at him, but Ma Biao gave her a look that said "Don't be impatient," so Wen Shu had no choice but to hold back.
Lin Han frowned, glanced at Wen Shu, and said, "Miss Wen, even now, do you still think you've been wronged?"
Lin Han's implication was that Wen Shu was having an affair with Li Duo, and now she was with this man.
In this light, it's certainly true that calling her fickle and promiscuous!
Wen Shu sneered, "Mr. Lin, don't you think your logic is strange?"
"Since you investigated me so thoroughly, you should know better than anyone else the circumstances under which that video you posted was filmed."
"Perhaps no one told me the background of the video, but what is your purpose in stopping me today to apologize?"
"Why are you apologizing to me? Is it because you posted that video? Or because of the content in the video?"
"What charges do you think I would bring against you if I were to sue? You don't think I would sue you for defamation, do you?"
Lin Han stared at Wen Shu: "Miss Wen, I've come to apologize to you, are you deliberately making things difficult for me?"
Wen Shu chuckled: "It seems Mr. Lin is determined to hurt me!"
“I can find a bunch of witnesses to refute the content of the video and prove that I was forced to say those words in the video.”
"I wonder who will defend Ms. Lin after her video is released?"
These words were a threat, and Lin Han almost gritted his teeth to pieces. "Miss Wen, I'm here to reconcile with you, not to argue with you!"
He glanced at the people passing by, all of whom were looking at them with puzzled expressions.
Lin Han said, "Let's find a quiet place. There are so many people coming and going here, it's not convenient to talk."
Ma Biao put his arm around Wen Shu's shoulder and stylishly smoothed his hair. "Wait a minute, I think this place is fine. Why would we change it?"
"What era are we living in? Be more open-minded about these things. So what if your sister slept with someone? It's not a big deal!"
Lin Han's expression changed; he felt that his sister had been insulted.
He stepped forward and asked fiercely, "What did you say?"
Ma Biao smiled smugly, "I'm telling you, the people involved in the video are all standing right here, and I don't feel embarrassed at all. What's there for you, a grown man, to be embarrassed about?"
Lin Han stared at Ma Biao's face, his voice trembling slightly, "That man in the video, is that you?!"
Ma Biao asked, "Can't you tell? I think it's quite clear. It would be such a pity if you couldn't tell. It's my first time filming a short film, and they didn't even let me show my face."
As Ma Biao spoke, he clicked his tongue and shook his head, looking regretful.
Lin Han was truly enraged!
He was already furious enough that his younger sister had been bullied. But his sister didn't dare let the Lin family know about such a serious matter.
In other words, the younger sister had no one to support her.
Now, he's the only one in the entire family who knows about this, and his sister can only swallow her anger and pain.
But this scumbag deliberately provoked him.
