Li Duo looked up. "He's willing to admit defeat, though."
Li Liangfeng glanced at Li Duo, then hesitated, as if he wanted to say something but didn't.
Li Duo asked, "What's wrong?"
Li Liangfeng replied, "Lin Han was willing to apologize not because Miss Lin listened to your advice, but because Ma Biao and his men beat Lin Han up."
After a few seconds of pause, Li Liangfeng said again, "In front of Miss Wen Shu."
The implication is that Lin Han apologized because of Ma Biao's actions in protecting Wen Shu, not because of Li Duo.
In other words, Wen Shu would remember Ma Biao's favor, and thus resent Li Duo even more.
After all, the video was made by Li Duo forcing Wen Shu to say those words that made her lose her dignity in front of Zhong Wanwan's camera.
Li Duo's face turned deathly pale instantly.
He muttered to himself, "Everything that happens now will become my revenge for the malice I showed her back then."
Whether intentional or unintentional, that's the reality.
Li Liangfeng said to Li Duo, "There is a young master between you and Miss Wen. If you really want to get along well with Miss Wen, you will have to make a good impression."
“That brat Ma Biao has ulterior motives towards Miss Wen. He’s usually idle and has plenty of time to waste on her.”

Ma Biao acts recklessly and without regard for consequences, willing to use any means to achieve his goals.
In contrast, Lin Han would be more thoughtful and consider the overall situation, minimizing the severity of the situation and preventing it from affecting the families of both sides.

Li Duo and Lin Han, on the other hand, are shrewd business strategists.
The two already knew each other's purpose for coming even before they met.
As soon as Lin Han sat down, he got straight to the point: "The Ma family has gone too far. I'm going to teach them a lesson."
Li Duo glanced at him and said, "It's easy to deal with the Ma family, but dealing with the Ma family won't have a real effect."
"Are you trying to say it's because of Long Xiaosheng?" Lin Han asked.
Li Duo said, "The reason why the Ma family dares to be so arrogant is because Ma Jun is engaged to Long Xiaosheng. If Long Xiaosheng really wants to make things happen, most families in Beicheng will not be able to escape."
"Ma Jun got engaged to Long Xiaosheng because he was interested in the power behind Long Xiaosheng. It would be easy to deal with the Ma family, but if the Ma family retaliated, it would just be another back-and-forth process."
"Instead of trying to hit someone from afar, it's better to be more direct."
