"Shushu, how did your talk with my sister go?" Ma Biao asked her from behind the fence.
Wen Shu replied, "We didn't talk about anything."
"Then tell me about it! We're all on the same side, you wouldn't show favoritism and only tell her and not me, would you?"
Wen Shu pursed her lips, glanced at Ma Biao, and said to him, "Mr. Ma, I just came to have a heart-to-heart talk with Miss Ma and visit her. What else could we talk about? You're not interested in women's topics anyway."
Ma Biao was somewhat unconvinced. "Why am I not interested in women's topics? Besides, how do you know I'm not interested if you haven't even explained it clearly?"
Wen Shu sighed and asked him, "I told Miss Ma I'd like to buy a pair of shoes. Are you interested?"
By this time, Ma Biao had already dismounted, jumped over the fence, and walked up to Wen Shu. "You want to buy shoes? What style? What brand? What color?"
Wen Shu: "???"
Ma Biao said, "If you want to buy shoes, asking me is definitely better than asking my sister. Look at how many pairs of high heels she owns!"
Wen Shu glanced at Ma Biao's feet. "But Mr. Ma, you don't wear high heels either, how did you know?"
Ma Biao said, "That's because I used to..."
Ma Biao stopped talking before he could finish.
He originally meant to say that he didn't own high heels, but he was always generous to women.
The women who followed him before were either after his money or something else. Ma Biao really knows more about high heels than Ma Jun does.
But if he said that, wouldn't Wen Shu feel annoyed?
Therefore, Ma Biao chose to brake in time to avoid digging his own grave.
He cleared his throat and said, "The high heels my sister bought were all recommended by me. You should ask me instead of her."
Wen Shu replied, "Thank you, Mr. Ma, but I've already spoken with Miss Ma, and I'm very satisfied with her recommendation, so I won't trouble you any further."
Before Ma Biao could speak, Ma Jun walked out of the house, his hands in his pockets, looking tall, handsome, and clean-cut.
She glanced at Ma Biao and said, "Ma Biao, that's enough! How long are you going to keep bothering Wen Shu? Wen Shu came to see me, what are you getting involved for?"
Ma Biao immediately became disobedient, reaching out to put his arm around Wen Shu's shoulder. "Get this straight, Wen Shu was the one who knew me the first time!"
"You met her through me, so who exactly is she a friend of? Didn't you have any foresight?"
As Ma Biao spoke, he put his arm around Wen Shu's shoulder and shook her, as if to remind her, or perhaps to warn her, "Shu Shu, tell me, who are your friends?"
Wen Shu, who had instantly become the focus of the siblings' attention, was stunned. Why had the siblings' conflict spread to her?
She forced a smile, pointed at Ma Jun, and said, "Miss Ma has taken good care of me and helped me a lot. She and I are best friends, and Mr. Ma and I are friends..."
Ma Biao was initially happy to be friends with Wen Shu, but when he heard Wen Shu say that she and his sister were best friends, which was obviously closer than friendship, Ma Biao became unhappy.
"Do best friends come in male and female versions? I've even seen people talking about male best friends. Who are you looking down on?"
Wen Shu looked up at him with difficulty, "That's not what I meant..."
"Oh, I see. You feel that we don't spend enough time together, unlike you and my sister who can spend an hour together!"
“That’s easy. Let’s spend a few hours together each time. The more we do it, the more time we’ll spend together, and our feelings will naturally deepen.”
Ma Jun watched coldly from the sidelines, but he couldn't stand it any longer. He walked over and shoved Ma Biao's arm away.
"That's enough! What are you doing, a grown man, bothering a girl like that? Anyone who doesn't know better would think you're a pervert harassing her."
Ma Jun asked Wen Shu, "How did you get here?"
Wen Shu replied, "I came by taxi."
Ma Jun frowned and said, "It's easy for you to get a taxi here, but it'll be difficult for you to get one to leave. This place is remote; where would you find taxis? I'll have someone take you."
Ma Biao immediately raised his hand and said, "I'll take it!"
Ma Jun looked at him coldly, "Have you finished all the tasks assigned to you?"
Ma Biao immediately shut up and walked away with a cold face.
Ma Jun said to Wen Shu, "I'll have someone take you there. Don't listen to his nonsense. If he dares to cause you trouble in the future, just tell me, and I'll take care of him."
Wen Shu smiled and said, "Master Ma is much easier to get along with and communicate with than the rumors suggest. He just has a bit of a childish streak at times."
Ma Jun looked at Wen Shu with surprise, "I thought you hated him."
Wen Shu answered truthfully: "I wouldn't say I hate him. It's probably because I'm not familiar with him. At first, I felt more fear than dislike towards him."
"After getting to know him a few more times, I found that Mr. Ma wasn't a bad person at heart. He did a lot of things for the sake of face, so he could show off among his friends."
"In addition, I found that he really likes to compete with Li Duo. In my opinion, many of his actions are just to attract attention and amaze people. In fact, he is a kind person at heart."
Ma Jun's attitude towards raising Ma Biao is very similar to that of a mother. Their mother died early, and Ma Biao was young at that time, relying on his mother. Ma Jun raised him single-handedly.
Hearing Wen Shu say that Ma Biao was not a bad person by nature, Ma Jun was still very happy.
She glanced at Wen Shu and couldn't help but sigh. What a pity.
If she had met Wen Shu sooner, she would have made sure to win Wen Shu over to become her sister-in-law.
Scarface, accompanied by one of his henchmen, drove Wen Shu away.
Ma Jun went to the stable to find Ma Biao, who was brushing the horse's mane.
