Chapter 12 Second Man

Chapter 12 Second Man

The other party was straightforward, and Jiang Rao was even more straightforward when taking the money. After receiving the payment, she directly blocked Qi Ze.

Jiang Rao spent the money before she could even warm it up, and Jiang Shaochong saved his life and was transferred to a general ward.

Jiang's mother finally stopped crying. Jiang Rao looked at her lying on the bed next to Jiang Shaochong, her black hair scattered at her waist, with a few white hairs faintly mixed in. Jiang Rao suppressed her sadness and quietly left the ward.

Just after leaving the hospital, Jian Tang called and Jiang Rao picked up the phone.

"Raorao, what's the matter?" The other person's voice sounded slightly intoxicated, and it was obvious that he was drunk.

"I borrowed money, but now it's okay. I got the money."

"Qi Ze borrowed it? What a talent." Jian Tang instantly became interested, suppressing her excitement in her voice, "PY transaction?"

"Get lost!" Jiang Rao cursed with a smile, paused, and added, "It won't cost a single soldier."

Jiang Rao's words were profound and a little regretful. "But I'm killing the chicken to get the eggs. I'm plucking the wool from the sheep and killing them."

"How do you say that?"

"I blocked him."

There was no sound from the other side for a long time, and then a howl of "Ah——" was heard, "Golden thigh... Raorao, you are worthy of being my goddess."

Questions followed one after another, "What are you going to do next? Change people or something? I have some more in my phone's address book, I'll share them with you?"

"No rush." Jiang Rao refused and let out a breath, "I'll think about it."

When the phone was about to end, Jian Tang asked the question that had been nagging her, "What on earth did Qi Ze do to you that you want to block him?"

Jiang Rao answered absentmindedly, leaving Jian Tang with endless reverie. She said -

"Second man."

Jiang Rao lied, she was slandering him. Jiang Rao didn't know what was wrong with Qi Ze, but it sounded like it hurt the man's dignity. However, she didn't plan to explain too much to Jian Tang. The most urgent thing was to find a job first, and to keep relying on the big boss.

She had no intention of changing her golden thighs, and Jiang Rao was not someone to be trifled with. Blocking Qi Ze was just a temporary relief, and her phone number was still there. There was still a long way to go in the future, and Qi Ze's thighs were the thickest.

Show up at the right time, make an appearance, leave an impression, flirt with it, and hang on to it, just like teasing a dog.

Jiang Rao acted quickly and submitted a resume that night.

She had a good resume, a good figure, and was willing to work hard. When she graduated, the dance teacher tried to keep her, saying that she could stay at the school for two years to teach, which would be both respectable and relaxing. She could perform with the troupe and meet some important people... the rest was tacitly understood.

Jiang Rao didn't stay. Her family was rich, and she wanted to take it easy, so the easiest thing was to do nothing. But she didn't expect that she spoke too early and got slapped in the face.

She has a house in Nan Guo Mingzhu, which is still in the mortgage process. Jiang Rao likes it the most because there is a whole floor-to-ceiling window there, and when the curtains are drawn, you can overlook the river view of Beijing.

Jiang Rao arrived home in the early morning, opened the door, squeezed into the sofa, and stared at the crystal chandelier. In a few days, she would be homeless.

The next morning, Jiang Rao received a reply to her resume. It was from Wangjing Opera and Dance Theater. They were urgently recruiting and were satisfied with Jiang Rao's resume. They wanted to have a face-to-face meeting and try a dance with her.

Wangjing Opera and Dance Theater is quite famous. They usually recruit talent from colleges and universities, and social recruitment requires a strong resume. Jiang Rao doesn't have much social experience, but fortunately she won many awards in school. Plus, she has a pretty face and looks good on camera, which is a big plus.

During the initial interview, Jiang Rao raised her eyebrows slightly at the interviewer on the left. The man was handsome, with cold eyes and eyebrows, which was inconsistent with the painting style of the two interviewers next to him. He looked like an elite handsome man in a comic who had accidentally entered. If you look closely, there is a bit of Qi Ze's shadow. Could they be brothers? I didn't hear what Jian Tang said.

Three teachers sat in a row, and she sat on a chair in the middle of the dance room, facing them. When the questions began, Jiang Rao came back to her senses. She had a good temperament, and when she was restrained, she looked like a goddess. Her words were very polite, and the teachers all had a good impression of her.

"I've been away from work for over a year since graduation. Why did you choose to return to this industry now?"

Because I was poor… Jiang Rao gathered his thoughts, sat upright, and spoke freely, "Because of my passion, I started learning classical dance at the age of three, won an award at the age of five, and was admitted to the school of my dreams through the art exam. After graduation, I took a year off for personal reasons, but now I continue to dance. I came back because I couldn't let go and because of the bond I had with it."

"Can you tell me the reason?" The teacher in the middle looked regretful. It was such a pity that Jiang Rao had such talent.

"Hmm..." Jiang Rao frowned at the right moment, then relaxed, "Maybe it's due to family reasons."

What he said was true, but Jiang Rao looked like she had a slight sadness between her brows, as if she had suffered a family change. The teacher could not bear to ask any further questions, and Jiang Rao successfully entered the re-examination.

The second round of the audition was a dance competition, a real one. Jiang Rao took a shortcut and chose "Farewell My Concubine." It must be admitted that dance is a profession that requires both talent and hard work. Jiang Rao hadn't practiced for over a year, and while the foundation was there, an expert knew the ropes. She cherished her opportunity and didn't dare gamble with other more showy pieces.

Jiang Rao put on her makeup and changed into her dance costume. The sound of opera filled the entire classroom as Jiang Rao danced gracefully.

When troubled times come, the sound of Chu songs can be heard everywhere.

Your Majesty has lost all your loyalty, how can I, a humble concubine, live?

Jiang Rao perfectly interprets the woman's sadness and sorrow through body language.

As the song was about to end, a tear slid down Jiang Rao's face and got stuck at the last point.

The song ended and the crowd dispersed. Jiang Rao gracefully bowed out. There was a small incident when she was receiving the acceptance letter. When it was the man on the left's turn to express his opinion, he said cryptically: "The song is a great choice."

These words were meaningful. Jiang Rao's eyebrows jumped and she looked at the man. The man looked back at her. His look seemed to penetrate Jiang Rao's soul and know all her little thoughts.

Jiang Rao responded humbly, pretending not to understand what he meant. She lowered her head obediently and avoided his eyes: "Thank you."

Finally, she successfully received the employment notice from Wangjing Opera and Dance Theater.

Jiang Rao pushed open the door of the classroom and walked out. She turned her head and saw Qi Ze standing by the window. She didn't know how long he had been looking at her.
