Chapter 36 A Serious Illness
Jiang Rao arrived at the Bay Villa on time.
Qi Ze didn’t provide a pick-up service, so she took a taxi.
The car passed through the arched corridor and stopped in front of the iron fence of the villa.
Jiang Rao got out of the car, and the payment was deducted from her phone with a ding. The driver drove away without any hesitation, and Jiang Rao inhaled a lot of exhaust fumes.
........What a realistic driver! He didn’t even bother to lend a hand when the beauty was in trouble. He must be rushing to take orders.
Jiang Rao limped and cursed Qi Ze in his heart.
He had no gentlemanly manners at all and didn't even come out to greet her.
Jiang Rao walked to the door and Wen Feng came over to greet her. He was gentlemanly and polite. He just carried Jiang Rao's bag and refused physical contact.
Jiang Rao didn't make things difficult for him. Following Wen Feng's instructions, he came to the living room.
She had just finished her glass of water when Qi Ze came down.
The man was standing at the entrance of the spiral staircase. Jiang Rao looked up at him and readily admitted that Qi Ze was quite good-looking.

Jiang Rao giggled and sat on Qi Ze's lap.

Qi Ze turned his head away.
Jiang Rao stopped moving, and Qi Ze touched the soft flesh on her waist.
"So urgent?"
"Aren't you the one who's in a hurry?"
Qi Ze looked at her leg, which was still bandaged. He touched her with his knuckle-jointed hand, "Does it still hurt?"
"It hurts." The voice was delicate.
Qi Ze was now in a good mood to talk, "What do you want from being with me?"
Jiang Rao was surprised by Qi Ze's question. She thought he knew it well.
"What's the purpose? Don't you know?"
"I know, but I thought someone like Miss Jiang would have other options."
Jiang Rao held up her chin and thought honestly, "No, I'm going all in on you."
Qi Ze smiled.
One is trying to seduce, the other is heartless and unloving. These two people who should have no connection with each other sit together in an intimate posture because of the one who is trying to seduce.
"The way you said that, I almost thought you were in love with me."
"Putting aside the feelings, if you want me to love you, I can pretend." Jiang Rao was very honest.
"No need." Qi Ze refused, "There are many girls who want to get close to me. One more or one less won't make much difference."
"I suppose so."
The two chatted idly.
Qi Ze suddenly felt bored and called Wen Feng over. Qi Ze pushed Jiang Rao away and said, "Wen Feng, see Miss Jiang off."
Jiang Rao stood up, supporting herself with a crutch and standing on one leg, looking a little funny.
Qi Ze had already walked away, but Jiang Rao was still standing there.
She turned around in surprise and looked at Qi Ze's back. Qi Ze was standing at the corner of the stairs and waved at her from a distance. Jiang Rao was now certain that he was not playing hard to get, but really wanted to drive her away.
After Qi Ze disappeared, Jiang Rao asked Wen Feng, who was silent beside him, in surprise, "Is your Qi Shao seriously ill?"
