Chapter 37 Nothing More Than That

Chapter 37 Nothing More Than That

Jiang Rao didn't respond after hearing the news and ended up getting himself into trouble.

When Jiang Rao walked to the gate, it was already completely dark, and only the lights in the villa were on.

Jiang Rao walked slowly, and when she reached the door, Wen Feng's car had already stopped in front of her.

Wen Feng opened the car door, and before getting in, Jiang Rao looked back at the building behind her. It was a magnificent and brightly lit villa, while she was about to step into a "home" that was about to be taken away. In contrast, Qi Ze was in the sky, while Jiang Rao was in the mud.

Jiang Rao sighed inwardly, turned around and got into the car.

The air in the car was stuffy, so Jiang Rao didn't open the window. Wen Feng drove quietly. Wen Feng was a dull person, so Jiang Rao simply closed her eyes and pretended to take a nap.

After a while, we arrived at the Nan Guo Ming Zhu Villa.

Jiang Rao got out of the car to express her gratitude, but she didn't expect Wen Feng to send her home.

Jiang Rao didn't refuse, but was a little surprised. "Did Qi Ze tell you to do this?"

Wen Feng replied, "It's late at night, it's not safe for Miss Jiang to be alone as a woman."

Neither saying yes nor no, Jiang Rao sighed, then it’s not.

Jiang Rao opened the door and turned to thank Wen Feng, "Thank you for your hard work today."

"It's my duty." Wen Feng turned and left.

Jiang Rao opened the door and the room was dark and empty.

She didn't rush to take a shower, but sank into the sofa. Thinking of her uncertain future, she felt a rare sense of sadness.

It was late at night and the dew was heavy. The window was not closed and it was a little cold. Jiang Rao huddled together and did not move. After a while, tears rolled down her face, like distinct pearls.

Jiang Rao reported to the opera house the next day.

The dean came to greet her in person, and Jiang Rao felt a little embarrassed.

The crowd was moving, and Jiang Rao saw Qi Chen standing at the door of the theater with his arms folded.

When Jiang Rao passed by Qi Chen, he asked her, "I heard that my brother personally took you to the hospital a few days ago?"

"Didn't you know this a long time ago?" Jiang Rao agreed.

"You are so capable to be able to tame Qi Ze." Qi Chen praised.

"It's no trick, I'm just attracted by your beauty." Jiang Rao boasted, with a hint of mockery.

Qi Chen laughed out loud, "Are you in such a hurry to come to work? You should be awarded the Three Good Employee Award."

Jiang Rao felt a little embarrassed by what she said, but she was thick-skinned and asked, "Can you give me a bonus? I'm broke lately."

"It's worth considering." Qi Chen said and entered the theater.

Jiang Rao followed him in.

The two of them had fought each other openly and secretly countless times, but no one around them dared to get too close and could only watch from afar.

I wonder how many people saw this scene.

As soon as Jiang Rao entered the lounge, Su Qing'er came to block her again.

Jiang Rao laughed out of anger. Su Qing'er really has the temperament to be a villain. Look at her, she has a female villain physique, can withstand blows and falls, and can attract a lot of hatred.

Jiang Rao had a foot injury and couldn't do anything else. He sat down on a chair, slowly made himself a pot of tea, and glanced at her, "Tell me, what's the matter?"

Su Qing'er's eyes turned red with anger. "You're really capable of coming to work at the opera house even though you have an injury on your foot."

Jiang Rao fanned the flames, "There's no other way. I have the ability to hook up with Qi Chen. Otherwise, you can also go and beg him to see if you can not go to work?"

Su Qing'er wasn't as good at verbal battles as she was, and she wasn't Jiang Rao's match in a fight either. However, now Jiang Rao was injured...

Su Qing'er's eyes rolled around. Jiang Rao had already seen through her thoughts. She picked up the tea and poured it all over Su Qing'er.

"If you have the guts, come to me. If you don't, come to Qi Chen. From what I've seen, your skills in seducing people are just this good."

Jiang Rao always knows how to hit other people's pain points.

Su Qing'er's face flushed red, and she came over to scratch her with her teeth and claws. Jiang Rao had suffered a loss once, so how could she be fooled a second time?

She picked up the teapot and said coldly, "If you don't boil it now, it won't be as simple as a cup of water."
