Chapter 99: Compassion as Love
Fuck you.....dog man.
Jiang Rao's eyes were dull, but she was smiling charmingly, "Yes, let me see how our Master Qi is still so powerful and majestic."
Qi Ze didn't argue with her.
Seeing her indulged in desire, the blush on her face became more and more intense. Qi Ze leaned over and brushed his lips against Jiang Rao's ear. "Will you apologize for what happened today?"
When Jiang Rao recovered from the aftereffects of this wave, she said in a broken voice, "I apologize."
Even if Jiang Rao gave in, Qi Ze had no intention of letting her go.
His hands supported her soft hair, and his voice was deep, "Don't sleep, don't faint, you have to feel how you are intoxicated under me."
Jiang Rao's toenails curled up and she had no time to care about what he said.
When she woke up later, she felt refreshed.
Qi Ze was sitting on the sofa in his pajamas, reading a book.
Seeing Jiang Rao wake up, Qi Ze asked, "Awake?"
He put down the book and walked over to pull the corner of the quilt for her. "Did you sleep well last night?"
Jiang Rao had no memory of last night. The only thing she remembered was that a drop of Qi Ze's sweat dripped onto her collarbone.
She felt like she was in the clouds.
"Good."
"Are you satisfied with me?"
Jiang Rao was subjected to soul-searching early in the morning. Seeing Qi Ze's satisfied look, he probably had a good time last night. Jiang Rao certainly couldn't spoil Qi Ze's fun at this time.
"Satisfied, nothing could be more satisfying than last night."
After Jiang Rao finished speaking, Qi Ze smiled and said, "Well, I was also very satisfied with you last night."
Jiang Rao:.......No need, thank you.
She pushed Qi Ze away and stood up. Her waist felt like it had been run over by a truck. She stumbled. Qi Ze helped her up and said with a smile, "You need to exercise more in the future."
Jiang Rao smiled and said, "Don't worry about that, Master Qi."
Jiang Rao struggled to get up, and Qi Ze pushed her back to her original position.
"Don't get up, you need to rest."
Jiang Rao declined Qi Ze's kindness, "I'd rather die than skip work."
Qi Ze didn't know whether to laugh or cry, "Today is Saturday, I don't have to go to work."
Jiang Rao was stunned. "I am indeed confused."
"So you need to have a good rest." Qi Ze pushed Jiang Rao to lie on the bed, "Do you feel a little hungry?"
Jiang Rao nodded. She felt much more relieved when she heard that she didn’t have to go to work today.
"I'll ask Wen Feng to make you some porridge."
After giving his instructions, Qi Ze went out.
Jiang Rao stared at his back until she could no longer see him, and then she felt a chill down her spine.
Why is Qi Ze suddenly so gentle to her? Could he have other intentions?
But now she felt sore all over, so she didn't want to think about anything for now. She wanted to have a good sleep and think about it after waking up.
After a while, Wen Feng brought a bowl of porridge and placed it on the table.
Jiang Rao tilted her head and saw that it was still a bowl of seafood porridge.
When Wen Feng was about to leave, Jiang Rao stopped him, "Wait."
"Is your home by the sea?"
Wen Feng nodded, "It's a fishing village by the sea, my family makes a living by fishing."
"So..." Jiang Rao nodded, "Do you have other brothers and sisters?"
Jiang Rao was drinking porridge and suddenly felt like talking.
"No." Before Jiang Rao could ask, Wen Feng's tone suddenly became dejected, "Although their parents went out to sea together, a huge wave hit them, and they...were all gone."
Jiang Rao was caught off guard when she heard this and suddenly felt that she couldn't eat the porridge in her hand.
Jiang Rao said embarrassedly, "Sorry, I... didn't mean it."
After saying that, he felt something was wrong and hurriedly tried to explain something, but Wen Feng just smiled and said, "It happened when I was very young, it's nothing."
After Wen Feng finished speaking and went out, Jiang Rao no longer had any appetite.
She propped herself up in front of the dressing mirror.
She was naked and covered in bruises. As she was lamenting about her body, someone suddenly pushed the door open.
Jiang Rao turned her head and saw Wen Feng.
Even though Jiang Rao was used to big scenes, she was still shocked.
Wen Feng's face turned red, and he didn't know where to put the things in his hands, so he was about to retreat.
He stood outside the door, the glimpse he just had lingering in his mind.
Jiang Rao's skin is very white, like milky white, but the bruises on it are shocking.
It adds a sense of sadistic beauty for no reason.
He took a deep breath, his heart still beating violently.
Only after the door closed did Jiang Rao breathe a sigh of relief.
She quickly found a piece of clothing to put on, then opened the door. To her surprise, Wen Feng was standing at the door and didn't leave.
Jiang Rao was rarely shy, "What did you do when you came in just now?"
"Seeing that you didn't eat much porridge, I made a new one." Wen Feng said.
Jiang Rao waved her hand and put it down again. "It's not a good idea to ask you to go back at this time. Just put it on the table. I'll eat it later."
Wen Feng followed his instructions and came in, put it down and left.
After a few moments of hesitation, he placed a tube of ointment on the table.
Wen Feng stammered, "This... is very good for skin recovery. You should keep using it."
Jiang Rao thanked him and saw Wen Feng walk out with red ears. She didn't know how much he saw.
She walked to the table, stroked the ointment on the table, clenched it, and her face was unclear as to what she was thinking.
It was almost noon when Jiang Rao packed up, got dressed and went out.
She went downstairs and passed by the restaurant and found Qi Ze waiting for her in the restaurant.
Jiang Rao walked over naturally, and when she passed Wen Feng, she turned her head away unnaturally.
She looked at the steaming porridge on the table and asked, "You haven't eaten yet, are you waiting for me?"
"Yeah." Qi Ze put down his phone, "I heard Feng said you only ate a little, so I'm waiting for you to have one."
Jiang Rao smiled, "Okay, then I'll eat some with you."
Jiang Rao's stomach was actually empty, but after hearing what Wen Feng had said, she had no appetite.
But Qi Ze was in a good mood at the moment, and Jiang Rao was with him.
After all, she was wrong yesterday, so she had to appease the sponsor no matter what.
Jiang Rao drank the porridge in small sips, and this time she changed to red bean and barley porridge to warm her stomach.
Wen Feng stood at the door of the restaurant like a wooden stick, and Jiang Rao couldn't get over the hurdle in her heart.
"Are you absent-minded?" Qi Ze said lightly while drinking porridge.
Jiang Rao took a sip of porridge to cover it up, "No way."
"You avoided my gaze, you lied." Qi Ze hit the nail on the head.
Jiang Rao:..............Well, this man is too sharp, nothing can escape his eyes.
"Yes." Jiang Rao stopped hiding it and admitted it.
"Because of the news?"
As soon as Qi Ze said this, Jiang Rao caught a glimpse of Wen Feng's back stiffening.
"Yeah." Jiang Rao had a faint smile on her face, "He just told me what happened in his family."
Qi Ze obviously knew it too. He raised his eyebrows and asked, "Then what?"
"Then I felt a little uncomfortable, so I couldn't eat." Jiang Rao told the truth.
Qi Ze didn't let Jiang Rao go, "What do you think of Wen Feng in your heart?"
Jiang Rao looked up in surprise, "What feeling?"
"You know what I mean, Jiang Rao, don't play dumb." Qi Ze's voice was a warning.
Jiang Rao replied to him in a low voice, but Qi Ze knew that Wen Feng, who was not far away, would definitely hear it.
Jiang Rao, "What's the point? Love between a man and a woman? Qi Ze, are you not confident in yourself?"
She continued, "Anyone who hears their entire family was drowned would definitely feel bad, and it's normal to feel bad. What are you doubting? Do you doubt that my pity is love?"
