Perhaps the people on that ship were cowards who only listened to the weak. By the time Wu Chen and his group set off again the next day, there was no trace of the passenger ship along the way.
Lu Qing was busy memorizing the lessons Wu Chenxin had given her, so she put the matter aside.

Wu Chen reached out and tossed her the mooring rope, asking in return, "What do you think?"
Lu Qing was too lazy to guess, so she grabbed the rope and jumped onto the bluestone dock. "We'll find out soon enough."
After mooring the small boat, the two walked forward along the uneven stone path. The faint, enticing scent of medicinal plants, planted on either side of the path, was quite alluring.

That voice sounds familiar!
