Chapter 105 End of the Text Love Each Other
This is destined to be a restless night.
The blood rain that fell from the sky was considered a divine punishment by the people of this small town, because most of the townspeople knew that the bishop of the church was not a good person.
As for the fact that there were no corpses on the stake, they should have melted away along with the blood rain.
Little Darien left the town before midnight. There were faint lights in some windows in the town, and some roads were completely dark. Outside the town, it was completely dark.
Only the moon in the sky still had light.
Little Darien became hesitant.
Darien and Sevier rested on a tree next door. Seeing his younger self hesitating, he pecked Sevier and told him to think of a solution quickly.
A moment later, two fireflies with glowing butts landed one after another and flew in front of little Darien.
"Are you here to show me the way?" Little Darien asked cautiously.
Lead the way, then. The two fireflies flashed their buttocks at the same time.
Little Darien finally took the first step out of the town. Although there were forests and wheat fields outside the town, which were terribly dark in the silent night, he was not so scared with the light of the fireflies.
A child's physical strength is very limited. After walking for only about two hours, he could no longer hold on. He found a thick pile of fallen leaves in the forest and fell asleep.
After he fell asleep, Darien and Sevier landed quietly.
"He finally fell asleep. He was so tired from flying." Darien squatted down and pounded his shoulders.
"At this speed, it will take him three days to walk to the next town." Sewell also squatted down and looked at the sleeping child buried in the pile of leaves.
"This won't do. We can't follow him in the forest for two or three days. We have to think of a way. Got it!" Darien had an idea.
They carefully dug little Darien out of the pile of dead leaves and gave him a sniff of a little sleeping potion that was enough to knock down a bear, ensuring that he would not be woken up by any noise all night.
"It's a bit dirty." Darien looked at his sticky little self and held his breath with a bit of disgust.
"Wash first?" Seville also smelled the stench of blood rain.
If you walk in the wilderness with this smell, you will easily be targeted by wild animals.
They changed little Darien's clothes, not forgetting to put back a new piece of candy and the key, and then packed up the pile of dead leaves.
Darien took out a large blanket and cast a flying magic on it. The flying carpet carried them all the way to the edge of the forest against the strong wind.
The edge of the forest was very close to another town. It would only take another hour's walk to enter through the city gate.
After traveling two days' distance in one night, Darien and Seville were both blown away.
Little Darien was wrapped up in his clothes and sleeping soundly, the best sleep he had had all week.
Before daybreak, Darien found a tree that looked similar, covered it with dead leaves, and then buried little Darien in it. What they had to do was almost done.
When little Darien woke up, he found that his clothes had dried and no longer smelled of blood.
The smell of blood was all on the pile of dead leaves around.
His clever little head immediately figured out that it was the leaves that cleaned his body.
So he whispered thank you to the pile of dead leaves.
Darien and Sevier were squatting side by side in the tree, both birds now, and after hearing the quiet thanks, Sevier nudged Darien's head with his beak.
Darien pecked him to keep still.
Little Darien continued walking forward and was lucky enough to come across a bunch of red berries.
He was hungry, so he had a good meal.
Little Darien had no idea that the soil beneath the bush was freshly dug up. It had been dug up from somewhere else specifically so that he could eat it.
More than an hour later, little Darien finally left the town and was successfully picked up by the maid hired by Theresa and Julian.
Things ended smoothly here. They had done everything they could, and the rest of the journey was left to little Darien to walk on his own.
Then they should go back too.
"Goodbye, we will take good care of little Darien," said Sister Teresa.
"I have also found a position for him as a magic apprentice. I believe he will grow into an excellent magician in the future," said Julian.
"Thank you. It's time for us to leave." Darien nodded at them.
"When can we meet again?" Julian asked.
"We probably won't meet again, wish you all the best." Darien smiled.
"Goodbye." Sewell waved to them.
Then comes the hurricane carpet moment.
Darian also left half a box of time stones. I wonder if these little things can help them return to the original time node.
When we returned to the house opposite the orphanage, night had fallen. The orphanage was completely empty and the children had been separated and sent to other orphanages.
It's time to go home.
Darien felt a little melancholy, wondering if the tower would accept him again after he forced open the Plantagenet Door.
"It's not so bad," Mrs. Fitch said. "If we can't go back, we can open a restaurant here and call it Ratatouille."
"Sounds like a restaurant with a rat infestation," Sewell said.
"We shouldn't be unable to go back, right? I'll give it a try. Seville, give me a hammer." Darien wasn't sure.
"Okay, master." Sewell handed over a hammer and a whole toolbox.
They chiseled holes of varying sizes in the door, then melted the silver with the fiercest flame, and poured the red-hot liquid into the holes.
Darien took out a pair of tweezers from the toolbox and inserted the time stones into the holes one by one.
Wait for solidification.
"That's a beautiful door. Half an hour ago it was just an ordinary wooden door. Will it be back to its original state after we leave?" asked Mrs. Fitch.
"Will this door stay here? Or will it follow us back?" Leon asked the key question.
"Good question, I don't know yet, but we can try." Darien put down the tweezers.
The door was inlaid with the shape of a gorse using the stone of time. After the silver solidified on the door, Darien reached out and tried to communicate with the emblem.
The trajectory of time converged on this door. At first, it was a faint, dark light, then dots of light merged into one, eventually growing brighter and brighter...
"It seems... successful?" Darien withdrew his hand and said uncertainly.
"Just open the door and you'll find out," said Sewell.
The two of them pushed open the glowing door together and walked in hand in hand, one in front and the other behind.
Hanging in the air, and then there is the endless feeling of falling.
This time and space tunnel was filled with memory fragments, and the chaotic memories completely overwhelmed Darien.
He saw the time in the orphanage, the growth as a magic apprentice, the first time he entered the tower, the first guest who came to the tower, the decoration of the tower, the hiring of the Fitch couple... and the meeting of Sewell.
It was a very ordinary afternoon. He was reading a book on the windowsill of a room when a crow pecked at the window glass.
The noise was so loud that Darien thought the window would be pecked through and the crow would fly in.
"What do you want to do?" Darien put down the book and squinted at the crow.
To be fair, this is a very beautiful crow. Its black feathers are shiny and smooth, and they reflect colorful halos under the right sunlight.
The crow looked at him for a while, then suddenly stood up and flew down. A moment later, it flew up from under the windowsill with a beautiful irregular gem in its mouth.
It is a very beautiful emerald with irregular edges, but it is washed very brightly. I don’t know where it came from.
"For me?" Darien asked.
The crow actually nodded.
Darien found it interesting and opened the window.
Outside the window was a vast wasteland, and the crows and gems had disappeared without a trace.
The second meeting was at the Plantagenet Gate. The familiar crow flew in, and then he had a capable assistant.
Memories come like waves and recede like the tide.
When they opened their eyes again, they were standing in an empty room in the tower.
"We're finally back!" Mrs. Fitch cheered behind them.
"Welcome home." Sewell gave Darien a hug from behind.
"Welcome home," Darien said.
The irrelevant people left the scene on their own accord. Mrs. Fitch dragged Fitch up into the air, and Pluto also carried Leon away on his back on his back.
"Dear master, there are only two of us left now." Seville coughed lightly.
"Well, there are only two of us left, so what?" Darien blushed a little.
"So... can you accept my confession? I love you and hope to be your lover." Seville said.
"Okay," Darien said vaguely.
"Then can I kiss you, a kiss that's not light at all?" Sewell laughed.
"Sure." Darien's answer was even more vague.
They kissed for a long time, their breaths blending together, their souls and bodies closely connected at this moment.
"I love you."
"I love you."
Darien couldn't help laughing as the two same words came out of his mouth at the same time.
Their time is still long, this sentence can be said many times, their love will last forever.
