Chapter 100 Sheng Sheng, Don't Regret It Later

In a large supermarket in the northern part of the city.

As soon as they entered, Nan Sheng let go of Yin Han's hand, went straight to the shopping cart, and pushed one out.

"Hanbaobao, the essential shopping cart for couples shopping at the supermarket!"

Nan Sheng's voice was soft and loud, and everyone around her turned to look when they heard her call "Han Baobao".

Nan Sheng wasn't socially awkward, and besides, she'd been the center of attention since childhood. So when faced with the stares of others, she looked up and asked, "Yin Han, do you mind if I call you 'baby' in public?"

Her thick skin doesn't mean Yin Han has a thick skin.

"I don't mind."

Whatever the baby may be, I'd much rather you call me "husband" in public—this is Yin Han's true feeling.

However, she is making him increasingly believe that that day will come.

So if you don't mind, then you really like it?

"Sheng Sheng..." She's been getting more and more flirtatious lately.

"Hahaha, she's shy again." Nan Sheng wished she could possess the blushing Yin Han, hold her in her arms, and secretly admire her.

Yin Han picked up Nan Sheng, put her in the shopping cart, and pushed her.

Nan Sheng was overjoyed the moment she sat in the shopping cart: "Han Baobao, let's go buy groceries!"

After Nan Sheng finished speaking, she took out her phone, opened the camera to record a video, switched to selfie mode, and recorded herself and Yin Han.

Her phone's photo library is now filled with pictures and videos of her and Yin Han; she has recorded every little moment that belongs to them.

The moment he turned on the camera, Yin Han instinctively bent down, looked at her lens, and gave a faint smile. He didn't like taking pictures, but he liked it when she took pictures of him.

What Nan Sheng didn't know was that Yin Han had secretly taken pictures of her every time before she started recording.

Nan Sheng sat in the shopping cart as Yin Han pushed her along, stopping and starting. He focused on picking out vegetables, while Nan Sheng sat in the cart, diligently taking notes. Although there was no conversation between them, there was an inexplicable harmony, like a couple enjoying a leisurely supermarket trip after marriage.

After Yin Han finished picking out the vegetables, the two entered the snack area.

"Sheng Sheng, let's not eat these foods, okay? I'll make them for you when we get back, alright?" Yin Han frowned as she looked at the spicy strips and potato chips in the shopping cart; these were all junk food.

“You have to make this for me when we get back, and we’ll buy a tiny bit here too, okay?” Nan Sheng gestured with her hands, indicating that she really only wanted a tiny bit, since no girl could resist the delicious temptation of snacks.

"..." Yin Han.

Can he say no? Obviously not.

And so this scene unfolded: Nan Sheng's so-called "little bit" was filled with snacks in the shopping cart, and she only took up part of the space inside.

As soon as Nan Sheng took it, Yin Han took it and put it away. So much so that when it came time to pay the bill, Nan Sheng saw that all the snacks Yin Han had just scavenged had vanished, leaving only a tiny bit.

“We bought a lot of fruit. We’ll eat fruit and sweets when we get back. I’ll make you some snacks. These aren’t clean, and they’re not good for your health.”

Yin Han spoke patiently.

"Okay, if you won't buy me snacks, then give me a kiss when we get home to satisfy my cravings, okay? Hanbao?" Nan Sheng started again.

"Mmm, okay..." He pulled her into his arms and kissed her.

Both of them were pregnant.

A couple behind them overheard this conversation, and the girl couldn't help but complain to the people next to her: "Look at that other girl's boyfriend doesn't buy her snacks because he's worried about her health. He personally goes back and makes them for his girlfriend, and he even prepares fruit and desserts. But you, you don't buy anything, and you don't do anything either, just because it's expensive."

The girl started to cry as she spoke. It wasn't that she was comparing herself to others, and she didn't ask for much.

"That's true. These snacks cost almost as much as several of our meals, and they don't fill us up. Besides, aren't we saving money for our wedding and house? We need money for everything, so we need to save money."

"..." It's that same phrase again.

Being so close, Yin Han and Nan Sheng naturally heard it too. They looked at each other and smiled slightly, though it was unclear what they were laughing about.

Yin Han knew that he wouldn't do that.

When it was their turn to pay, the cashier was an older woman whose eyes kept darting between Yin Han and Nan Sheng: "Handsome guy and beautiful lady, aren't you going to grab something? We've got a promotion going on these days, buy two get one free, want to grab something?"

The aunt pointed to the shelf next to the cashier.

Nan Sheng was confused, but she followed the finger and saw several boxes. She didn't think much of it and assumed they were chewing gum, thinking she could take a few boxes to chew on when she had nothing to do: "Sure, I'll take two boxes."

"Sheng Sheng..." Yin Han called out, her neck still slightly red.

"What's wrong? You want to..." Nan Sheng hadn't finished speaking when she heard her aunt's words.

"Beautiful lady, what size do you want? We have many flavors, you can come and choose." The auntie introduced enthusiastically.

Nan Sheng was taken aback. Chewing gum comes in different sizes? She could understand the flavor.

When she looked closely, she realized what the aunt meant by "buy two get one free".

This is somewhat awkward.

"Han Baobao, do you need it?" Nan Sheng leaned close to Yin Han's arm and threw the question at him.

"No." After saying that, Yin Han quickly opened the package and let the aunt scan the code to pay. Carrying several bags in one hand, she pulled Nan Sheng out with the other.

The cashier lady kept saying, "Oh dear, what a pity, we didn't take a few boxes. But it's okay, with both of them being so good-looking, their baby will definitely be beautiful!"

When it was the couple's turn, the auntie enthusiastically introduced the snacks again, and the man who hadn't even wanted to buy snacks for his girlfriend bought four boxes.

……

Nan Sheng looked at Yin Han, who was walking unusually fast, and chuckled, "Han baby, are you shy? What's wrong with that! It's normal. I'm not shy at all. But you don't have to. I like it either way. You said... um." Before Nan Sheng could finish speaking, Yin Han covered her mouth with his hand.

"Sheng Sheng, don't regret it later," Yin Han reminded her in a low, hoarse voice.

"What's there to regret? My biggest regret is not cherishing you enough."

"It's not too late now."

Nan Sheng offered to help him carry the heavy load, but Yin Han refused.

"No need, just let me hold your hand obediently."

"But I want to help you."

"Not heavy."

"..." The two chatted for a while until they arrived home.

Back home, Yin Han washed the fruit and placed it on the table, heated up some milk for Nan Sheng and Li Xiaomei, and then instructed, "Grandma, you and Sheng Sheng sit here to watch TV, eat, and chat. Leave the kitchen to me."

"Okay, okay, if you're too busy, call Grandma."

"I can too!"

Looking at the old man and the young man, Yin Han felt an indescribable happiness and nodded.

P.S.: Here it comes, chapter 100!
