Chapter 177 The Romance of Fireflies

As night fell, the southern part of the city was gradually enveloped in lights, instantly becoming incredibly bustling.

Yin Han took advantage of Nan Sheng washing up in the bathroom and went out.

We walked to the back door of the wooden house.

There was a door there. After Yin Han opened it, he saw a large glass window with something sparkling inside.

"Cold baby!"

Yin Han, who was outside, heard Nan Sheng's voice, but did not answer.

After taking a shower, Nan Sheng didn't see Yin Han, and she didn't see him even after running upstairs.

After calling out several times without receiving a response, I suddenly felt a little panicked.

He ran downstairs again, looked at the open door, and walked out.

"Han Baobao?"

Nan Sheng walked out and was greeted by a dark lawn with faint light coming from the houses, and it was especially quiet.

The only sounds were the wind and insects chirping.

Nan Sheng was suddenly a little scared as she watched this scene.

He reached into his pocket, took out his phone, and was about to call Yin Han.

She saw the action unfold before her eyes and momentarily forgot what she was doing.

Swarms of fireflies flew out of the wooden house.

In the pitch-black night, the fireflies transform into tiny green lanterns, shimmering with a soft light.

Like spirits of the night, they fly freely, perfectly showcasing the mystery and romance of the night.

Nan Sheng excitedly walked to the center of the lawn.

"Hey, over here."

Suddenly, a familiar voice reached Nan Sheng's ears.

She turned around and was shocked.

Deep within the cold, countless shimmering fireflies waved to her, their tall, upright figures and handsome features resembling the young male protagonist in a melodramatic youth novel.

Nan Sheng ran towards him and hugged him tightly.

Yin Han habitually picked the person up like a child and asked, "Sweetie, do you like it?"

Nan Sheng watched as groups of fireflies emerged from behind the wooden house. In an instant, as if sensing this, other fireflies also surged out from all directions.

Nan Sheng was completely stunned.

From childhood to adulthood, Nan Sheng had seen all sorts of magnificent and luxurious scenes, except for this magical creature of nature.

A swarm of fireflies then made a dazzling appearance, flitting among the grass and trees like tiny torches, illuminating every corner of the night.

The scattered lights sometimes gathered and sometimes dispersed, like a meteor shower in the night.

"Han Baobao, you're so beautiful..."

Nan Sheng didn't hug Yin Han. Instead, after seeing this scene, she clasped her hands together, stared blankly, and her eyes reddened naturally.

Seeing Nan Sheng's reaction, Yin Han finally felt relieved.

He knew she would like it.

"I discovered this by chance when I came here before. That night, I was sitting alone on the lawn and I saw many fireflies around me."

In the days that followed, as long as the weather was fine, the number of fireflies at night would increase.

Yin Han looked at the person in his arms and knew she had some doubts, so he patiently explained. Yin Han never held back when it came to Nan Sheng.

"Moreover, swarms of fireflies can attract many companions, so I caught some a few days ago and kept them in my house."

I released them while you were inside.

Yin Han couldn't help but kiss Nan Sheng's forehead as he spoke: "Do you like it?"

He thought he would never give this gift, but fate really did surprise him.

He had already thought of this the moment he got together with Nan Sheng in Beicheng.

I hope to have the opportunity to bring her up here to witness firsthand the gifts of nature and the beautiful scenery.

He caught those fireflies inside the wooden house for a very long time, and every time he thought about how Nan Sheng would look when she saw this scene, he couldn't help but feel happy.

Nan Sheng nodded sharply.

"Han Baobao, you always move me so much, waaaaah."

Nan Sheng felt like crying, not because she was sad.

"So, what reward will I get for being a good boy/girl?"

Yin Han's cold and deep eyes were fixed on Nan Sheng's cherry lips, his meaning clear.

Nan Sheng instantly understood his gaze. Not to mention that she understood, she had experienced these kinds of looks many times before.

"Yes, but only if you put me down first, okay?"

Nan Sheng patted Yin Han on the shoulder.

Yin Han did as he was told and put the person down. He saw Nan Sheng stretch out her hands, one hand on his shoulder and the other gesturing for him to hold them together.

It turns out they were going to dance.

He had never danced with her before; there had been times when they had practiced in her dance studio.

Yin Han grasped it.

"Little Han, let's enjoy ourselves to the fullest under the starlight of the fireflies, okay?"

"good."

The man's hand gently caressed the woman's waist, and the two seemed to be strolling in a garden, their dance steps light and graceful.

Nan Sheng watched as they coordinated perfectly, even though they hadn't played together for a long time and hadn't trained specifically for it.

What else could they be but destiny?

Yin Han's eyes were fixed on Nan Sheng, as if she were the only one in his world. Their beautiful dance moves were like sweet nothings between lovers.

The lights of the fireflies around them seemed even brighter and more dazzling, perhaps sensing the affection between them and celebrating with such excitement.

After an unknown amount of time, the two who were dancing on the lawn somehow ended up kissing and then slowly made their way to the door of the cabin.

The two kissed passionately, and Yin Han couldn't hold back any longer. He picked Nan Sheng up, supporting her body with one hand while pressing down hard on the back of her head with the other.

"Sweetie, will you take another bath with me?" Yin Han slightly released her lips and asked in a hoarse voice, his lips pressed against hers.

Nan Sheng hugged him, knowing what was about to happen, and nodded with a blush on her face.

Having received the promise, Yin Han didn't hesitate and quickly carried the person into the bathroom.

They turned on the shower and let the warm water fall on them.

A familiar feeling gradually began to grow in their bodies, because it had happened before.

It wasn't until Nan Sheng's top became wet and clung tightly to her skin that Yin Han realized she wasn't wearing anything underneath.

His pupils contracted, and he spun her around in his arms, releasing Nan Sheng's lips. He grabbed a bath towel from the side and placed it on the sink, where Nan Sheng sat down.

Yin Han moved somewhat hastily, and her panting was particularly embarrassing in the small, intimate bathroom. In no time, she stripped herself naked.

Just as he was about to take off Nan Sheng's clothes, Nan Sheng pushed him away.

Moreover, the action was completely unexpected.

"Goodness..."

Yin Han groaned softly, his voice hoarse with discomfort.

"Hanbao, I...I got my period, waaaaah..."

Nan Sheng pointed to her lower body.

Yin Han's body stiffened; tonight was destined to be a long night.

P.S.: I added this at 3 or 4 AM, I'm so sleepy, going to sleep now.
