After taking her grandmother home, Yin Han rushed to a restaurant, changed into her work clothes, and went to the kitchen.
"You're here! Hurry up, lots of customers are starting to order," another slightly older man reminded him. This was Huang, the head chef of the restaurant.
Yin Han nodded, lowered the brim of his hat, and began to stir-fry the vegetables.
The smell of cooking food was so strong that Yin Han felt even more uncomfortable, and his lips turned pale. However, his cooking was not affected.
At five o'clock in the afternoon, Nan Sheng regained her energy and felt full of vitality. She couldn't wait to go find Yin Han.
"Little dog, time to go out for dinner." Su Chuanlin's voice rang out from outside the door.
Nan Sheng casually threw on a down jacket, tied her hair into a fluffy bun, and went outside.
On the bus.
"Big Dog, how far is Yin Han's place from where we live?" When Nan Sheng received that address, she tried to search it on Baidu, but couldn't find the answer.
To be honest, Su Chuanlin didn't know either, and he had never been to that place.
"I don't know, my assistant sent it directly to my phone. Can't you find it?"
"It's okay, I'll ask someone tomorrow." Nan Sheng looked out the window, lost in thought.
When Su Chuanlin heard her say that she was going to see Yin Han tomorrow, he was a little worried, but he happened to be busy tomorrow: "Little dog, why don't you wait for me to go with you later? I'm worried about you going alone."
Upon hearing this, Nan Sheng immediately refused: "No need, I want to go by myself. You are not allowed to come with me. I want to find him myself. I will call you if I need anything."
Su Chuanlin didn't dare to force her, because this little dog was very stubborn. Once she made up her mind, no one could change it. Otherwise, why would he have sent her little tail to prison?
"Okay, what would you like to eat?"
"Anything is fine." Nan Sheng couldn't think of anything she wanted to eat at the moment.
Su Chuanlin thought for a moment and said, "Then I'll take you to a popular local restaurant. The dishes there look like home-style cooking, but the taste is absolutely amazing."
He remembered that he had wanted to poach the chef, but later he heard that the chef refused, so he had to give up.
Nan Sheng nodded.
As soon as Nan Sheng entered the restaurant, she looked around and saw a classic Chinese style, giving off a feeling of old Beijing.
The artistic chandelier on the ceiling is so distinctive and flamboyant that it doesn't quite match the environment, but overall it has a unique charm.
Each small dining table is separated by a screen, which provides customers with ample privacy, and that's quite good.
"Little dog, let me order for you. I happen to have a few dishes here that you might really like," Su Chuanlin said, looking at the menu.
Before Nan Sheng could answer, Su Chuanlin read out the menu: "Sweet and sour pork ribs, steamed fish, pineapple stir-fried pork..."
"That's enough! It would be a waste if we couldn't finish it."
"Okay, by the way, here's some green pepper stuffed with meat, would you like to try it?" Su Chuanlin wasn't sure if the puppy would like it.
Nan Sheng paused for a moment when she heard about the green pepper stuffed with meat. It was her favorite dish, bar none.
She was a picky eater, so Yin Han learned to cook in the following years and made her different dishes every day.
She has another little problem: she loves chili peppers but can't eat spicy food, and she especially dislikes meat.
So Yin Han cooked for her using the method of stuffing meat into green peppers. Green peppers can be stuffed with any filling, and her favorites are pork and mushroom filling and shrimp paste filling.
From that moment on, Yin Han would make this dish for her whenever she wanted to eat it, but it never happened again...
She hated Yin Han back then, and by extension, she hated everything about him. So much so that she wouldn't even glance at anything he cooked afterward, and sometimes she would go even further and throw it directly into the trash.
As Nan Sheng thought about it, tears welled up in her eyes again. Su Chuanlin knew why and immediately comforted her, "It's okay. Xiao Weiba likes you so much. Go apologize to him. Although an apology can't solve anything, at least you're trying to make amends."
"Hmm, Big Dog, was I really that bad before?" Nan Sheng already knew the answer, but she still wanted to ask.
Su Chuanlin nodded without hesitation. He didn't take anyone's perspective, but acted as an intermediary: "Little dog, I didn't understand why you were so heartless towards someone who only had eyes for you. You don't have to like him, but..." He didn't finish his sentence.
"Big Dog, how do you know Yin Han likes me?"
Su Chuanlin initially felt that his younger sister was still in school and he didn't want her to be exposed to such things too early, but after thinking about it, he still said, "Anyone with eyes can see that. Think about it yourself, since you met him, has he ever refused you anything? Every time your aunt and uncle scold you, isn't it him who stands in front of you?"
When you're not around, his eyes are unfocused and lifeless; but the moment you appear, all he sees is you... So, isn't that obvious enough?
At this moment, Nan Sheng felt as if her heart was being torn apart. An outsider can see things more clearly. Why did she think that this kind of liking was disgusting in the first place?
"Okay, I understand, brother. Order a green pepper stuffed with meat." Nan Sheng said, wiping away her tears.
Su Chuanlin handed the menu to the waiter.
Su Chuanlin didn't understand why Nan Sheng had suddenly changed her mind: "Little dog, did something happen to you? Otherwise, why would you suddenly change your mind?"
Nan Sheng couldn't possibly say that she had been reborn: "Because I found that I seemed unhappy without him by my side."
Nan Sheng wasn't lying. The reason she didn't allow anyone to mention Yin Han in her previous life was because she was afraid she would regret it. She was somewhat proud. But in this life, she didn't understand what pride was. She only knew that in this life she wanted Yin Han and she wanted to be with Yin Han.
"Alright, as long as you don't get hurt." Su Chuanlin actually felt that Xiaoweiba was not good enough for their princess, but he was too busy looking at their little princess.
25 minutes later.
Once all the dishes were served, Nan Sheng picked up her chopsticks, grabbed a piece of green pepper stuffed with meat, and put it in her mouth.
The moment Nan Sheng put it in her mouth, she froze. The taste...
She immediately stood up and looked around; he was right there!
He did it!
Nan Sheng is certain!
Nan Sheng's action startled Su Chuanlin: "Little dog, what are you doing? What are you looking for?"
"Brother, it's Yin Han, it's him, it really is him, can you help me find him? It tastes like him..." Nan Sheng was so anxious that she went straight to the kitchen.
She couldn't possibly have eaten the wrong thing; that was her taste, one she had been eating for four whole years!
Su Chuanlin hurriedly followed.
