Chapter 9 Does she like him?

Nan Sheng didn't see Yin Han return to class for the next period, and she didn't know where he went, which made her extremely irritable.

I walked to the school cafeteria feeling dejected, ordered a few dishes at random, and ate them listlessly.

Perhaps because Nan Sheng is pretty and looks well-behaved, many classmates walked over to sit next to her and sat with her.

Everyone deliberately avoided mentioning what Nan Sheng had said this morning, and chatted happily together.

Nan Sheng wasn't the petty type. As long as they didn't have any ill intentions towards Yin Han, she was still happy to be good classmates with him for the rest of the semester.

She wasn't in the mood, so she ate her rice half-heartedly, her eyes constantly scanning the area around the cafeteria, hoping to catch a glimpse of Yin Han.

One of the female classmates seemed to have read Nan Sheng's mind and leaned closer to her, asking, "Nan Sheng, are you looking for... Yin Han?"

Nan Sheng didn't try to hide anything and nodded heavily: "He didn't come to class after that, and I don't have his contact information."

“I might know where Yin Han is,” the female student said, blinking her eyes.

She discovered this by accident last time.

Upon hearing this, Nan Sheng immediately leaned over and asked, "Then tell me, by the way, classmate, what's your name?"

Nan Sheng looked at the girl who was talking to her. She spoke softly, had a student-style bob, and big, double-eyelid eyes. She was extremely cute.

"My name is Xiang Niannian, you can call me Niannian from now on."

"Okay, then Niannian, can you tell me where Yin Han is now?" Nan Sheng just wanted to know where Yin Han was and what he was doing.

Xiang Niannian glanced around at the people eating, and whispered to Nan Sheng, "Come on, I'll take you there."

"good."

Xiang Niannian and Nan Sheng arrived at the entrance of the cargo transport passage leading from the cafeteria to the rooftop: "Nan Sheng, Yin Han should be on one of the stairs up there. Last time I was in the cafeteria, my phone suddenly rang. Just then, the head of the teaching department came to patrol, so I ran upstairs to answer the phone, and then I ran into him eating here." Xiang Niannian finished speaking and looked at Nan Sheng cautiously.

Actually, she wanted to say that people often gossiped about Yin Han when she ate in the cafeteria, but she didn't say it, because Nan Sheng would find out sooner or later.

"Okay, I understand. Thank you, Niannian. You go back first. I'll go up and see for myself." Nan Sheng felt a pang of sadness when she heard Niannian say that Yin Han was eating upstairs.

"Okay, I'll go back to the classroom now."

Nan Sheng nodded and walked up the stairs.

When Nan Sheng was about to go up to the rooftop, she didn't see Yin Han and felt a little disappointed. Just as she turned the corner and looked at the last staircase, she saw Yin Han sitting on the steps. His back was against the wall, and he was eating with his head down. There was a very thick book next to him.

Perhaps because she was eating with her head down, Nan Sheng walked silently, and Yin Han didn't notice that someone had come upstairs immediately.

"Yin Han?" Nan Sheng called out softly.

Yin Han jumped up like a startled bird, knocking the lunchbox to the ground.

The moment Yin Han saw Nan Sheng appear, his heart began to race uncontrollably; she was becoming more and more beautiful.

He's getting more and more disgusted.

He was now incredibly grateful that his hair had grown long enough to cover his eyes, and that the girl hadn't noticed the unsightly look in them.

Nan Sheng looked at him and saw that he seemed frightened when he heard her voice. Was it because she had been too cruel to him that he was now afraid of her?

The thought that the man she loved was afraid of her made Nan Sheng feel like her heart was being squeezed tightly, and she felt extremely uncomfortable.

As he moved, Nan Sheng saw the food spilled on the ground. Upon seeing this, Nan Sheng didn't know how to describe her feelings: heartache, distress, regret, and guilt.

The food was so ordinary it couldn't be more ordinary: a big bowl of rice served with a few pieces of tofu and some cabbage.

No wonder he's lost so much weight. A boy who's still growing is eating this. Is this what he does every day here?

Nan Sheng slowly walked up until she reached him. The moment she reached him, Yin Han turned around and squatted down, frantically grabbing the rice on the ground and putting it back into the lunchbox. He only had one thought in mind: to leave quickly. He didn't know why the girl had suddenly appeared here.

Does she feel she's still angry and wants him to go to jail?

The thought of this possibility made Yin Han's body tremble slightly.

After cleaning up the mess on the ground, Yin Han picked up the books and was about to leave.

But how could Nan Sheng let him go so easily? She had finally managed to see him.

"Don't go." Nan Sheng grabbed Yin Han's sleeve.

Her first reaction was that it was really thin, even thinner than she had imagined.

It's so cold.

Yin Han moved his body, and two voices echoed in his mind, each representing a limit.

One reason is to urge him to leave quickly, implying that she hasn't hurt him enough. The farther away from her, the better, which suits her perfectly.

Another voice says, "Don't go! Isn't this the girl you've been thinking about day and night? She's right in front of you now, and you can't bear to leave."

Clearly, Yin Han's body did not move, so the latter was superior to the former.

Just as Yin Han was at a loss, Nan Sheng hugged him.

The lunchbox in my hand fell to the ground again with a "bang".

When Nan Sheng hugged him again, her eyes welled up with tears. He still smelled so familiar to her, a scent she had both loathed and longed for over the past two years.

"Yin Han, I miss you so much."

Yin Han clenched his fist.

She said she missed him?

Was he hallucinating?

Nan Sheng hugged him tightly, her fair face pressed against his chest: "I'm sorry, I regret it. I shouldn't have treated you like that, and I shouldn't have distrusted you. It was my fault... Since you left, I've deceived everyone except myself. Although... I had them destroy everything about you, every night... I really... miss you so much, Yin Han, and then the next day I still pretend... pretend nothing happened, and don't allow anyone to mention you."

Nan Sheng looked up at Yin Han and said with heartache, "That's why I came here. I wanted to tell you in person that I missed you a lot, and that I like you."

Since her rebirth, Nan Sheng has no hesitation when it comes to Yin Han. She wants to make up for the regrets of her past life in this one.

boom!

Yin Han felt like his head was about to explode; he couldn't believe what the girl was saying.

Why did she say that?

Why did I suddenly like him?

Didn't she say that even if she liked someone, she wouldn't like this pervert?

Yin Han lowered his head slightly, looking at the person in front of him with her watery eyes. He really, really wanted to make her his own no matter what, but he couldn't.

P.S.: Everything that happened to Yin Han will be explained later.
