Chapter 69: I broke his leg!

Fifteen minutes later, Nan Sheng arrived at Su Chuanlin's company building. Just as she was about to go up, she bumped into Su Chuanlin coming down from the private elevator.

"Nan Sheng, listen to me first, but you need to calm down, okay?"

Su Chuanlin gave Nan Sheng a heads-up before she could speak.

Upon hearing Su Chuanlin's words, Nan Sheng's body trembled: "Has something happened to Yin Han?! Brother, please tell me quickly!"

Nan Sheng's eyes were red, and her voice trembled with sobs.

Su Chuanlin said in a hoarse voice with difficulty, "Last night he was beaten by Lu Zhicheng's men in a small alley where there were no surveillance cameras."

In an instant, Nan Sheng's face turned pale, and she gripped Su Chuanlin's arm tightly in despair: "Where is he? Is he injured?"

Nan Sheng thought back to her unease last night, realizing she had a premonition. Why didn't she insist on taking him home? If she had, this wouldn't have happened. She felt incredibly guilty.

"That's the problem. We can't find out where Yin Han is. We don't know where he went." Su Chuanlin also found it strange. For him, finding out about someone is a very simple matter. He already knew the ins and outs of everything, but there was no news about Yin Han. It seems that this kid doesn't know any important people.

Now things have really gotten out of hand. The tears that Nan Sheng was about to shed suddenly streamed down her face, mercilessly dripping onto the back of Su Chuanlin's hand.

"Oh dear, my princess, don't cry. According to the information I just found out, Lu Zhicheng is currently in the hospital receiving emergency treatment. Your prince fought back quite well, but there's a lot of blood in the alley, so he's probably injured too, but he shouldn't be in any danger."

Lu Zhicheng's eight bodyguards failed; the men his mother brought were more formidable.

Su Chuanlin thought that it wasn't easy to dig out this information, and there were no surveillance cameras in that alley. Luckily, he had a private investigator.

However, he didn't tell Nan Sheng that Yin Han should have been stabbed, and he didn't know where that kid had run off to.

Upon hearing Su Chuanlin's words, Nan Sheng almost collapsed to the ground. If he hadn't supported her, she would have fallen to the ground.

A large patch of blood reminded her of the blood that Yin Han had used to stab her heart with a dagger in front of her tombstone in her previous life, staining the tombstone red.

"Why can't I find him? Bro, keep looking! He must be injured. He texted me last night saying he got home safely. Doesn't he want to keep me from worrying?"

"I'm looking for it. My men sent me some information."

"Brother, let's go to the hospital!" Nan Sheng grabbed Su Chuanlin's sleeve and wiped away her tears.

Su Chuanlin naturally knew why she went to the hospital, so he didn't say anything, drove over, and the two went to the hospital.

Nan Sheng and Su Chuanlin arrived at Lu Zhicheng's ward based on the information, and heard sobbing sounds as soon as they entered the room.

The two were stopped by the bodyguards at the door as they were about to go in.

"Get out of here if you don't want to die!" Su Chuanlin roared when he saw their hands about to touch Nan Sheng.

The two bodyguards naturally recognized who was speaking, and despite their fear, they still tried to stop him.

Su Chuanlin didn't waste any more words with them and kicked them directly, allowing Nan Sheng to take the opportunity to go inside.

Upon seeing the scene inside, her eyes instantly turned cold. Lu Zhicheng, he should have died long ago.

Huo Yan had been taking care of the unconscious Lu Zhicheng. When she looked up and saw the person who came, she became excited, thinking that Nan Sheng knew that Lu Zhicheng was injured and rushed over to see him.

"Sheng Sheng! Did you come to see our city? He just came out of the operating room at dawn and is still unconscious. I don't know which damn thug it was, but if I catch him, I'll kill him!"

Huo Yan was naturally not foolish enough to tell Nan Sheng that the person belonged to Yin Han, after all, she still couldn't figure out Nan Sheng's thoughts.

Nan Sheng didn't speak. Looking at Lu Zhicheng, whose head was wrapped in gauze on the hospital bed, she picked up the water next to the table and poured it directly onto him.

"Ah... Mom... It hurts!" Perhaps it was the hot water that had just been poured out, but Lu Zhicheng was scalded awake and screamed, his face turning red.

"You little bitch, why are you splashing me?" Huo Yan took two or three steps to Nan Sheng's side, looking at her beautiful face, ready to slap her.

However, Su Chuanlin, who had just entered, grabbed his raised hand and pushed him to the ground.

“Madam Lu, don’t think you can take action just because you’re an elder.”

Upon seeing the newcomers, Huo Yan's imposing manner softened: "No, what do you want? You didn't come here to see the city?"

"Mom! It hurts..." Lu Zhicheng was still yelling in bed.

"Okay, okay, son, wait a minute, I'll call the doctor for you." Huo Yan pressed the ward bell.

"Where is Yin Han?" Nan Sheng asked, barely managing to suppress her emotions.

Huo Yan's eyes flashed, but having weathered many storms, she immediately calmed down: "How would we know where that trash... Yin Han is? On the contrary, you don't care about our city, and you just come in and start making trouble. Sheng Sheng, aren't you supposed to have a good relationship with our city?"

Nan Sheng didn't waste words with Huo Yan. She glanced at him, picked up the chair next to her, and smashed it against Lu Zhicheng's leg, which was in a cast.

"Ah! Nan Sheng! You bitch... Ah!" Before Lu Zhicheng could finish cursing, Nan Sheng smashed him down again, and he immediately fainted.

"I advise you not to say things you shouldn't, or you'll end up with more than just one crippled leg." Nan Sheng spoke calmly, but her blows were heavy.

Su Chuanlin, standing to the side, had a complicated expression. Clearly, he had never seen this side of Nan Sheng before.

"Nan Sheng! Have you gone mad?! Get out of here!"

As Huo Yan spoke, she reached out to push Nan Sheng.

At that moment, several bodyguards burst in through the door and took Huo Yan hostage.

“Madam Lu, since your son can’t speak, then you should. Otherwise, if your son’s legs are crippled and he can’t carry on the family line, don’t blame me!” Nan Sheng supported herself with one hand on the chair that was missing a leg.

Huo Yan was filled with disbelief. In her memory, Nan Sheng was a well-behaved and gentle girl, but now this seemingly thin and weak girl could strike without even blinking.

"I don't understand why you've come looking for me after Yin Han disappeared. Does that mean the police can come looking for any missing stranger on the street?"

The girl glanced down at Huo Yan, smiled slightly with a hint of madness, and then, without even looking at the person on the bed, smashed down again.

"Crack!" The chair shattered into pieces instantly.

Lu Zhicheng, who might have been childless, was jolted awake by the pain: "Mom! Please save me! I'm your only son..."

"Brother, hand me a knife." Nan Sheng held out her hand.

"No, no... no! I'll talk, I'll talk, don't hit him! Yin Han ran away after he hit Zhicheng! My bodyguards couldn't catch him either, so we really don't know where he is. We, Zhicheng, are the victims!"

I'm going to call my husband! Don't think we won't mess with you just because your family is big and powerful. Don't forget, the Lu family is no small matter!
