Let's go crazy!

Let's go crazy!

Mo Wen led her toward the restaurant, through the bamboo grove outside the window, and instructed her as they walked: "Eat as much as you want if you're hungry. It's rare for you to have an appetite, so I have to treat you well."

They went inside, stopped in front of the menu, and looked at the wide variety of choices.

"Then I won't be polite, I'll eat you out of house and home." Hearing him say that, Wen Zhuyao didn't hesitate to choose a bowl of rice noodles from the menu.

The silence is always subtly changing.

Mo asked, "Isn't there anything else?"

"That's all, one bowl is enough." Wen Zhuyao wasn't very interested in the others; they were too serious and too healthy.

Mo Wen added a separate serving of meat and vegetables, an egg, and he also chose a special fried noodle dish for her. He selected a window seat.

To match the occasion, even the tableware delivered featured bamboo joints and leaves, along with a matching pot of tea. The food itself was even more exquisite, with plain ceramic bowls adorned with two emerald green leaves.

Wen Zhuyao recorded a short video and then started eating with her chopsticks.

After spending half a day racking my brains, I started to feel increasingly uneasy. Why was there no movement from the other side?

She put down her chopsticks, looked up with a puzzled expression, and found that Mo Wen was just watching her without moving, with a faint smile on his face.

"Eat up, it's delicious, why aren't you eating?" Wen Zhuyao wondered if she had done something impolite because she was used to eating alone.

She behaves very well outside, so what else could she be...?

Mo Wen was brought back to his senses by the sudden question, and lowered his eyes to look away from her: "I... I was daydreaming. I was thinking that you like rice noodles, and there happens to be a specialty in my hometown."

"You start thinking too far ahead without realizing it. Eat up, it's fine." Every one of his excuses was perfect.

Wen Zhuyao assumed he was homesick from his business trip, so she didn't say much. The meal was very quiet, and their immersion in the meal was interrupted.

Mo Wen spoke again just before he was about to leave: "I'll take a taxi to take you home, and I'll leave after I see you go upstairs."

We've been together for a year, exchanged packages several times, and know each other's addresses perfectly; there's no room for discussion about that.

"No need, that's too much trouble." Wen Zhuyao felt that if he was worried, he could just watch her get in the car, which would be more trustworthy.

Mo Wen showed her the screen and insisted, "I'll take you back, it's no trouble at all."

With the order accepted and the message indicating that she would arrive in three minutes, Wen Zhuyao didn't argue further, nor did she have the energy to. She obediently got on and off the bus.

When she was standing dazed at the door, about to push it open and go in, she finally realized what was happening, turned around and waved: "I'll send you a message when I get back."

"Okay, let's go upstairs." Mo Wen's figure was gradually obscured by the rising car window, making it impossible for her to see his expression or even his voice.

I vaguely saw a waving gesture, but before I could get a closer look, the car disappeared right in front of me.

Wen Zhuyao, whether still feeling carsick or reluctant to leave after their encounter, collapsed onto the sofa as soon as she got home, not wanting to move at all.

When I opened Mo Wen's chat window, the message was still from that night two days ago.

"A one-month deadline..."

"I'm home."

Wen Zhuyao gave a brief report, grabbed her clothes, took a shower, dried her hair, and edited out the trailer.

"bite……"

Mo Wen saw her messages on his phone during the gap in the turnstile, along with a push notification that he was particularly interested in.

The account "It's Bamboo" that we're paying special attention to has released a new video, don't miss it!

He walked towards Line 3, and just as the train arrived, Mo Wen put on his headphones, found an empty seat, sat down, and started watching the video.

It's lively and interesting, with cheerful background music, and you can tell that some parts are also the work of Chi Nuo.

Including the fleeting glimpse of couple rings, and the hand that was accidentally touched and then pulled back.

After the 30-second clip finished playing, it was like flipping another switch; the group chat immediately erupted in activity.

While Ji Shu was taking a shower and no one was around to stop her, Bai Yuzhou couldn't resist asking, "Where are you going tomorrow? What are your plans?"

"I'll rest tomorrow. I feel so tired after a good night's sleep..." Chi Nuo typed sleepily in bed.

Wen Zhuyao also shut down her computer, returned to the embrace of the bed, hugged her teddy bear, and sent an approving emoji: "I'm going to rest now, let's discuss it the day after tomorrow."

“Going to bed early is good,” Bai Yuzhou glanced at the time on the screen; it was exactly 8 p.m. “What about Mo Wen? Does he have any insights?”

"Don't ask, I don't know, he's in the car." His reply shattered Bai Yuzhou's last glimmer of hope.

Chi Nuo regained her senses: "We left at four o'clock. When did you guys get back? You had a trip for two, huh?"

"Xiao Zhu is a little short on material, so she's gone to gather more." Mo Wen openly and frankly laid out his itinerary.

Chi Nuo: "Oh~ off to gather more materials~"

"I saw the account was updated, I'm going to stalk you guys." Chi Nuo replied and quickly slipped away.

One person, lost in melancholy, stood like a statue.

This was the scene Ji Shu saw when she came out. She immediately picked up her phone to check the group messages, and knew what was going on without even thinking.

I couldn't control it, and when I asked, everything was pending.

"Alright, let's rest tomorrow then," Ji Shu said, rubbing her shoulders and neck. "You know how fragile they are, they're lucky if they can complete a full day of travel."

Bai Yuzhou remained silent, searching for the most relevant content about the early morning gathering, and then rearranged the event in a different way.

Everyone had left. After watching for a while and confirming there was no news, Mo Wen stopped spying and went inside. The phone rang right after he entered the room.

He temporarily abandoned tidying up, took the money, sat on a chair on the balcony, and casually fiddled with the chessboard.

"How have you been lately? You've been gone for several days and haven't heard from you. You chose such a faraway place to avoid being pressured to get married, and now you're not sending any messages."

Mo Wen got a headache as soon as he heard this opening, and tried to reason with her: "Mom, I came here for work. I've been busy lately and just had a day off. There's no need to pressure me to get married."

"You're in your mid-twenties, almost thirty, and you still don't have a girlfriend. Isn't it normal to worry about that?"

"Hmm, that's normal. You should read fewer novels about domineering CEOs," Mo Wen said dismissively, continuing on his way. "Isn't it normal that I don't have any ideas?"

"Alright, alright, how much longer until you're back?" The sound of books falling and hurriedly putting things away came from the other end of the phone.

I gave up on talking to a piece of wood.

He paused to think for a moment and said, "About a month later, early November, that should be about right, maybe a little later."

"Okay, by the way..."

During the casual conversation, Mo Wen finished his game and the topic was finally over. He hung up the phone and thought about the time they had just spent together.

They played another game, and Black won decisively. Then Black got up and went to pack up.

Unexpected events are always present in life, but for someone, they are somewhat expected.

"I can't sleep, I can't sleep, I'm so bored..." Chi Nuo stayed awake until dawn, but just couldn't fall asleep.

Ji Shu offered a solution that aligns with nature: "If you can't sleep, just keep going. There's nothing to do tomorrow, so you can wake up whenever you want."

"+1, no rush, take your time to sleep." Mo Wen had just finished dealing with an unexpected work situation and took a moment to reply to the message.

Chi Nuo: "Wow, you all have things to do."

"Right now, there's only one honest guy, Xiaozhu, who's really sleeping. Should we go crazy?" A powerful thought arose in her suppressed heart.

Mo asked, "Is it crazy?"

"You're not going to suggest we all go out and have some fun, are you?" Ji Shu accurately guessed her little thoughts. "If you're willing to suggest it, I'll support you."

Chi Nuo, with an eager, pleading expression, asked, "How about we go crazy? Get some late-night snacks?"

At three in the morning, honest Wen Zhuyao slowly woke up, got up to drink a glass of water, and groggily prepared to go back to sleep.

I discovered that my phone has learned a new skill.

Sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

Wen Zhuyao stared blankly as she read through all the information: "The honest man is awake now too..."

None of the four of them were asleep. Three of them were chatting in the group chat in the middle of the night, going crazy and crazy. If she didn't wake up soon, the crazy chatter would turn into a phone call.

Once everyone was present, Bai Yuzhou shared a PowerPoint presentation on precautions for early morning gatherings.

"No way, it's done so fast? Incredible speed..." Chi Nuo felt inferior and gave up on checking it. "You already have a plan. So, what do you think? Should we put it into action?"

Wen Zhuyao took a look, and the recommended cuisines immediately caught her eye.

Hot pot is ranked number one, barbecue is number two, and cooking at home is number three.

"I'm definitely fine with it. If you don't mind the trouble, I'll provide the venue." Wen Zhuyao was 100% supportive. What could be better than staying up all night to have a party together?

+1

+1

Bai Yuzhou copied and pasted: "+1"

"Then it's settled. We'll bring our own ingredients and see how well it turns out." The last message in the group chat came from Ji Shu. Some people got up, and others got ready.

Wen Zhuyao got up and changed her clothes. Looking at the food in the refrigerator, it was empty except for some shrimp paste, instant pizza, and fried skewers in the freezer.

There was not a single trace of meat or vegetables in the food.

There was a 24-hour convenience store downstairs. She took her phone and keys and went downstairs to buy as much as she could, mainly alcoholic beverages and hot pot base, one spicy and one non-spicy serving, and one serving of soft drink, milk, and alcohol.

She looked around but couldn't find anything else to buy. She turned to go to the checkout and passed by an area where she saw board games.

Without even looking, I just grabbed two.

After Wen Zhuyao's nighttime shopping spree ended, Mo Wen, another person she knew well, made the same choice after receiving the news.

I looked at the refrigerator, browsed the convenience store, packed my bags, and hailed a taxi.

Larger teams prepared more evenly and took taxis directly to the shopping mall.

Chi Nuo picked out snacks and desserts, while Ji Shu and Bai Yuzhou selected ingredients to prepare for cooking. Their shopping at the supermarket caused Mo Wen to arrive first, and they met for the first time without any pretense.

"Thump...thump thump..."

Wen Zhuyao was watching TV on the sofa when she heard a knock on the door. She looked through the peephole to make sure the person outside was someone she knew before opening the door.

"I'll put the things in the kitchen." Mo Wen gestured to the things in his hand and bag, then stepped inside.

I walked straight into the kitchen, where the small lights were on. From just a few steps, I could clearly see the layout of the living room, bathed in a soft, warm yellow light.

That fits perfectly.

Wen Zhuyao stepped aside and looked back, but didn't see the remaining three people.

For some reason, the discomfort of being alone surged up again in an instant.

This is tricky. Does this have to happen every time the scene refreshes? What is she so embarrassed about...?

"I only have convenience stores there, so I can only bring a little bit of stuff." Mo Wen took out the items little by little, and what she bought was similar to what she had bought: various drinks, hot pot base, and some instant food.

Wen Zhuyao didn't know whether to stand or sit, and stood in front of the door: "It's okay, I only have a convenience store here, and I bought the same thing as you."

"Sit wherever you like." She saw that Mo Wen had put his things away, and then returned to the sofa.

Mo Wen nodded and sat down next to her, but kept some distance between them. He looked at the many teddy bears on the sofa and asked, "Do you really like these kinds of toys?"

“I love it, I’ve collected all the different styles.” Wen Zhuyao’s interest in the conversation was exceptionally high when she mentioned the teddy bear.

Mo Wen followed her words and continued to ask, "Why do you only like teddy bears? I feel that kittens, puppies, and rabbits are all nice too."

"The teddy bear is the right size, has a simple shape and posture, and is comfortable to hold while sleeping. The others are all kinds of different."
