Secretly plotting

Secretly plotting

When Wen Zhuyao returned home, she took off her clothes, which were neither too thick nor too thin, and went to her room to change into her usual pajamas.

I saw a sticky note in front of the door.

"Xiaozhu, remember to put the meat out of the refrigerator, on the first drawer, and also take out the chicken wings from the third drawer."

"Mom will cook something delicious for you when she gets home tonight. Send me any snacks you want to eat, and I'll go to the supermarket and bring them back with you."

Wen Zhuyao tore it off, folded it neatly, and muttered to herself, "Another day spent alone at home."

She opened the door, changed her clothes, and put the note in the small note box.

Hang coats on hangers, and throw the ones you take off into the washing machine and let them spin around.

Afterwards, Wen Zhuyao lay down on the bed and started typing on her phone.

They parted ways downstairs.

Mo Wen escorted her to the entrance of the building, watched her go upstairs, and then turned and left.

There was originally a normal invitation before this.

"Would you like to come up for a bit?" Wen Zhuyao asked him from downstairs. Normally, this question would be required.

Coincidentally, she was the only one at home.

If you want to spend more time together, or if you want to chat, that's fine too.

Mo Wen mistakenly thought this was a prelude to meeting the parents, so he refused: "Next time, this time it's a bit rushed."

He slightly straightened the hem of his clothes to make sure he wasn't in a mess.

"Okay, then I'll go back." She thought this was the answer for today, which was exciting, so she didn't insist on anything.

He turned around, waved to Mo Wen, and left.

Wen Zhuyao was so preoccupied with her thoughts that the most important question only came to mind after she got home.

She started texting Mo Wen: "Where are you staying? How many days are you staying, and what date are you leaving?"

"Stay at a nearby hotel, leave in a week," Mo Wen replied on his phone, while also replying to other people's messages.

In the small group chat, Bai Yuzhou asked bluntly, "Should we be honest?"

"Will I get beaten up if I tell the truth? *crying*" Chi Nuo's stomach was much better, and she was curled up in bed secretly playing on her phone.

To be honest, all the things I've done have been exposed.

In fact, Chi Nuo's worries were completely exposed on the same day when the itinerary was discussed.

Mo Wen didn't say any of that, he just said, "I chose to go back on the 28th, and I only have one week."

hotel?

One week...

The first reason Wen Zhuyao went to ask was that, in her memory, there were no hotels in this area.

Not a single one.

"Are you really not hiding anything from me? I don't recall there being a single hotel around here."

Wen Zhuyao was worried that they might be involved in another cross-province or cross-regional property dispute, just like last time.

He overlooked this, and influenced by his memory, he thought he had let something slip, so he simply confessed.

"Actually, we're all here."

Wen Zhuyao was out of sorts and asked, "What do you mean, 'you guys'? Everything's here."

She seemed to have only asked about a hotel, how did it get dragged into this? Who are they?

Wen Zhuyao held her phone a little further away, and an answer emerged in her mind.

No way...

"I sent it to the wrong person, I sent it to the wrong person."

Mo Wen's memory returned, and he immediately retracted the previous message, adding, "The newly opened hotel opened around the time we were arguing."

Let's limit the matter to the possibility of a typo.

"You probably missed the ads and all that, which is why you don't remember them."

He then sent over photos, the hotel's name, and address to increase credibility.

Mo Wen sighed, "It really is remote. No wonder you mentioned earlier that there were no hotels around. I found that strange."

A question startled the guilty person.

Then he started explaining frantically.

Mo Wen felt a little regretful. He had been so anxious when he came, and had thought about all these problems.

Although there are solutions, memories are always intermittent.

Wen Zhuyao clicked on the photo and searched by name. The opening discounts were still displayed.

"I didn't notice. Make sure you keep warm, and be careful with your clothes when you get back to the hotel. I'm busy for a bit." She glanced at the hotel, put down her phone, and went to work on the notepad.

We can ask about more things later.

Wen Zhuyao took the meat out to thaw, and then looked at the other ingredients to see if anything was missing.

After looking around, I realized that I seemed to have everything I needed.

Daily necessities and consumables are always plentiful; there has never been a time when they are truly lacking.

Wen Zhuyao then went back and sent a message in reply.

"The meat has already been taken out; there's nothing else I'd like to eat."

After thinking for a moment, she added, "We're out of bread, but we have chocolate sandwiches and taro sandwiches!"

...

Meanwhile, Mo Wen had just returned to the hotel. Along the way, apart from the end of Wen Zhuyao's message, the messages in that group never stopped.

"How about I make another sacrifice like today, and you guys suddenly appear?" Chi Nuo's pig emoji was ready to sacrifice, full of fighting spirit.

Ji Shu's words stunned him: "The success rate is low if you've already tried it, so it's better to meet in person."

When you meet someone, the unexpected will be replaced by a pleasant surprise. She feels there's nothing wrong with being direct; having fun alone or with someone is the same.

The same applies to a group of people; their itinerary remains largely unchanged.

"Won't she punish a lot of people? After all, it was just talk, and no real time was agreed upon." Chi Nuo was still worried that something unexpected might happen.

just in case……

Using it too often can lead to a bad mood, which is not good.

Chi Nuo didn't know how she got into the role, imagining the angry Wen Zhuyao as a bamboo that could whip people in the game.

I was so scared that I trembled all over.

After watching for a while, Bai Yuzhou came out and said, "Keep a calm mindset; a pleasant surprise doesn't necessarily attract hatred."

"Really? I feel like Mo Wen's surprises are just stirring up trouble." Chi Nuo scratched his head. It seemed like everything Mo Wen did was designed to arouse hatred.

Mo Wen: "Please don't accidentally hurt me!"

"Let's make a plan now, since we have nothing else to do anyway." Ji Shu appeared, finally bringing the topic to a close.

The setting sun painted the sky red.

The night has arrived openly and legitimately.

Wen Zhuyao sat at the dining table, eating dinner alone. The dishes were plentiful, and there were many more snacks on the coffee table in the living room compared to the morning.

The bread was neatly stored in the refrigerator, and in addition to the two flavors mentioned, there was also a red bean filling.

But the person you thought was there to eat with you was actually just coming back to cook.

She added a little bit to every dish, and later simply brought the plates into the room, sat at the computer desk, and randomly picked a movie.

I ate while watching.

A lazy, pleasant scene is usually meant to be interrupted.

"Zhu Zhu Zhu Zhu, what are you doing? Should we go out and have some fun tomorrow to celebrate my recovery from my belly?" Chi Nuo's messages always revealed a cheerful attitude.

Even poor physical condition cannot stop it.

Wen Zhuyao put the meat in her mouth, then put it on her chopsticks, and typed a reply: "Your stomach says it needs to rest tomorrow."

She chewed and tapped away, her reply was both tactful and direct.

"If you don't give it a rest, it'll throw a tantrum tomorrow."

Chi Nuo became honest: "Don't curse me like that. Tomorrow is a perfect day for us to go out and have some fun together. I'll make up for today's expenses with you."

Seeing this opening, Wen Zhuyao seemed to already know something. She said, "Hmm, what surprise awaits me tomorrow? It's not like you all agreed to show up together, is it?"

Chi Nuo was stunned when she saw the message. How could she have guessed it so accurately?

Unbelievable, she only seemed to have given a brief introduction.

"Mo Wen, this isn't the reply you expected." She took a screenshot and sent it to the group chat to discuss a different strategy with Mo Wen. They needed to change their approach.

Mo Wen quietly said, "Okay, let's choose another one."

"Listen to me, let's talk again, don't believe in yourselves anymore." Ji Shushi appeared at the right time and took the two people who were still holding onto their illusions into his fold.

Wen Zhuyao waited for a long time without receiving a reply, so she went directly to the group chat: "Come on, everyone, tell me what the plans are for tomorrow?"

"Don't leave me as a bystander; I want to participate in the discussion too."

They were chatting enthusiastically in the small group.

Ji Shu nudged Bai Yuzhou beside her with her elbow and instructed him: "Go to the group chat and try to explain yourself, just fool them and don't expose them."

"good."

Bai Yuzhou opened his phone and switched to the large group chat to argue: "I don't know anything about tomorrow's arrangements, Ji Shu and I have to work."

"Really?" Wen Zhuyao asked tentatively, not believing it.

Bai Yuzhou: "Really."

“I understand, it’s fake,” Wen Zhuyao said, having received her answer. “Then I’ll wait for you tomorrow.”

Bai Yuzhou persisted, making excuses: "There are no arrangements, no need to wait for us, there's nothing..."

"Okay, no need to say anything more, I'm going to eat now." Wen Zhuyao turned off her phone and continued watching her movie, taking bites of rice and vegetables.

Things are going increasingly awry.

Bai Yuzhou tilted his head, intending to hand over the phone: "She..."

"I saw the message notification. I know what you guys were talking about. You don't need to show me." Ji Shu pushed the phone back, not directly confronting them, she could still tolerate it.

Chi Nuo whispered in the group chat, "Brother Zhou, I didn't lie like this when I was six years old."

"I don't usually lie." Bai Yuzhou is honest, mature, and refuses to refuse people without a reason.

Chi Nuo: "I knew it. You bunch of mature people don't need to have headaches. You don't know what it's like to feel anxious and refuse."

Let's meet tomorrow.

Ji Shu gave up on thinking of any other plans and simply decided not to hide anything at all.

"Okay, TVT." Chi Nuo rolled away.

Seeing this, Mo Wen had no choice but to say, "Okay, I'll make the appointment tomorrow."

"Okay." Ji Shu agreed and began preparing for tomorrow's arrangements.

One more person is waiting for tomorrow.

Wen Zhuyao had only intended to bluff, but unexpectedly, she actually managed to get the item out of him.

She washed the dishes and chopsticks, put them on the rack to drain, and prepared to take a shower.

Before taking a shower, Wen Zhuyao still looked for Mo Wen, and her question was a bit different.

"What do you think our future plans will be?"
