In the emergency room.
Huo Jiaqi stood aside, her eyes fixed on Bai Shuyu's ankle being treated by the nurse: "It's all swollen."
"Don't put any force on your ankle during this period. It's best to rest it at home for a few days."
The nurse packed up the medicine box: "Don't eat spicy food."
Bai Shuyu was about to stand up from the chair when Huo Jiaqi took a quick step forward and picked her up by the waist.
"Didn't you hear what the nurse said?"
Bai Shuyu pursed her lips and said nothing.
Huo Jiaqi carried her out of the hospital and got into the car. He looked at the dark circles under her eyes and reached out to touch her, but then restrained himself and pulled back: "Have you not rested well during this period?"
Bai Shuyu leaned back in the car seat, looking very tired.
"Shuyu, if you don't tell me, I can only tell my uncle and aunt about your situation honestly."

She answered the phone and pressed the hands-free button. Chen Luoyi's panicked voice could be felt through the microphone: "Hongrui, come and save me!"
There were bursts of men's laughter coming from the other end of the microphone.
Gu Hongrui's expression changed, and his voice instantly became tense: "Luoyi, what's wrong with you?"
He struggled, but the security guard held him down tightly.
The person on the other end screamed and then hung up.
Gu Hongrui's eyes were bloodshot: "Let me go! Bai Shuyu, tell them to let me go! If anything happens to Luo Yi, I won't forgive you!"
