The next day, early morning.
Bai Shuyu held her daughter's ashes and quickly buried them at the designated place.

Bai Shuyu froze. Huo Jiaqi raised an eyebrow and said, "You asked me before if Mother would arrange a marriage for me."
"Yes, but I don't like it."
Huo Jiaqi's eyes fell on Bai Shuyu: "Shuyu, I can never let go of my friendship with you."
He looked at Bai Shuyu with a burning gaze. Bai Shuyu remained silent. Huo Jiaqi looked indifferent: "I can't lie to you about this."
"Why are you telling me this?"
She stared at Huo Jiaqi blankly, with an unprecedented surprise emerging: "You can't be..."
Bai Shuyu didn't say the rest, but Huo Jiaqi seemed to understand: "You guessed right, I can't let you go."
"Shuyu, are you willing to give me a chance to stay with you?"
Huo Jiaqi stared at Bai Shuyu with a burning gaze. He said seriously, "Let's not talk about anything else, just one thing."
"Let's get along slowly as friends. I won't use my feelings to force you."
Bai Shuyu was frozen in place, unable to move. She pondered for a long time before finally looking up at Huo Jiaqi. "I understand what you're thinking."
