Inside the cafe.
Bai Shuyu held the hot coffee in her hand without saying a word.
Huo Jiaqi stirred the iced coffee in her hand, but her eyes remained fixed on Bai Shuyu. "If my uncle and aunt knew about your current life, they would probably be very sad."
Bai Shuyu tightened her grip on her coffee. She looked up, her lifeless eyes finally showing some color. "Are they all okay?"
Over the years, she didn't have the courage to contact her parents, and was even more afraid of hearing any words about City S.
Huo Jiaqi placed the cup on the glass coffee table, looked at Bai Shuyu, and couldn't help but sigh: "If you care about me, why did you pretend not to care all these years?"
Tears instantly welled up in Bai Shuyu's eyes, filled with regret and guilt towards her parents.
