"You think you can just let go like that? Who do you think you are?" Jiang Mingyue wasn't one to take a loss lying down, so she gripped even tighter and refused to let go.
"So what if you like it? If my daughter likes it, it's mine." Hongshao said confidently.
Ye Yunniang didn't want to cause trouble. She had three children to raise, and there was no need to put herself at a disadvantage because of a moment's anger. She let go of Cai Damei's hand and stood down next to her.
"Her name is Hongshao, and she is Miss Xing's maid."
Cai Damei looked at Hongshao with a sharp and sarcastic expression. She extended this from the maid to the mistress, showing she wasn't easy to get along with.
Hong Shao was satisfied with Ye Yunniang's attitude, and stared at Jiang Mingyue with her triangular eyes, "Aren't you going to let go?"
"I'm not some poor wretch." Jiang Mingyue glanced at Ye Yunniang with disdain, showing no backbone whatsoever.
"Shopkeeper, I'll take the fur. Wrap it up," Jiang Mingyue instructed the shopkeeper not far away.
"Shopkeeper, I'll take this fur. Wrap it up for me," Hongshao instructed.
The shopkeeper hesitated, "Gentlemen, we have other excellent furs in the shop. Would you like to take a look?"
“No need, I want this red fox pelt.” Jiang Mingyue’s attitude was firm.
“My daughter is missing a red fox fur vest. The shopkeeper has wrapped it up and is sending it to the Xing residence.”
Hong Shao uttered the words "Xing Mansion".
The shopkeeper understood who the red fox pelt belonged to.
"Madam, we also have fox furs in other colors. Would you like to take a look?"
