Chapter 173 A Bad Premonition

"Aunt Yunniang, Happy New Year!" Xu Dalei led Xu Erlei in to offer his New Year's greetings.

Happy New Year. Have some candy and melon seeds.

"Thank you, Aunt Yunniang." Xu Dalei grabbed a small handful of melon seeds and a piece of candy.

Xu Erlei followed his older brother and took the same one.

"Good things come in pairs, so have two pieces of candy too." Ye Yunniang took two larger pieces of candy and gave them to the Xu brothers.

"Thank you, Aunt Yunniang." Xu Dalei thanked her again, took the candy, put it away, and left with his younger brother.

"Eldest sister didn't come." Cai Xiaomei's answer intensified Ye Yunniang's bad premonition.

"Auntie, are you sure my mother didn't come?"

Ye Yunniang did not answer, and turned to run outside.

"Prefectural Government".
