"Sister Zhang, I won't stand on ceremony with you. Back in my hometown, every time I pickle vegetables, the whole village comes to my house to exchange them." Cai Damei was very proud of her skills.
"Mother, Aunt Zhang, come inside and talk." Ye Yunniang opened the courtyard gate from the side.
"Look at me, I've been so busy talking. Aunt Zhang, come inside and have some water." Cai Damei pulled Zhang Pozi into the main room to sit down and talk.
Ye Yunniang went to the kitchen and poured tea.
After taking a sip of tea, Granny Zhang revealed her other purpose for coming to the Li family.
"Besides bringing meat, I also wanted to buy a jar of vegetables from you," Granny Zhang said, taking out her money pouch.
Cai Damei grabbed Zhang Pozi's hand and said, "I moved to Wanxia Lane, and my sister-in-law has always taken good care of me. Every time I buy meat from your store, you give me a discount. If you like my pickled vegetables, feel free to come and eat them. Saying you'll pay me is a slap in the face."
Granny Zhang felt pleased to hear what Cai Damei said.
