The various sounds attracted those who hadn't left the front yard, and they all ran towards the back yard.
Chunyao and Liang Maimiao also got up to go to the backyard.

The red marks and the surrounding chatter made Zhang Er's eyes turn red. Unable to control his temper, he forcefully shook off Zhang San.
"Adulterous couple, I will kill you."
Zhang Er pulled out a dagger from his pocket and rushed towards Ma Hui.
Ma Hui sat on the ground, unable to get up for a moment, watching as the dagger stabbed towards him.
"Stop them quickly!"
Someone shouted, but no one dared to step forward to stop them, for fear of being accidentally injured by Zhang Er.
By the time Zhang San got up to stop him, the dagger had already pierced Wang Qiang's chest.
"Qiangzi—" Granny Wang shouted as she rushed forward, "My son, help me...Qiangzi, don't scare your mother...Quickly, find a doctor, find a doctor..."
Zhang Er was not satisfied with stabbing Wang Qiang, so he pulled out a dagger and wanted to kill Ma Hui as well.

Ye Yunniang pulled Chunyao and Liang Maimiao out of the crowd and into the alley.
All three of them turned pale, never expecting this to happen.
"Let's go home." Liang Maimiao's voice trembled; she had no interest in watching the commotion now.
Ye Yunniang and Chunyao nodded, and the three of them helped each other walk home. They ran into Tie Xiong, who had rushed over after receiving the news.
Tie Xiong nodded to Ye Yunniang and led his men into the screaming courtyard of No. 7.
Ye Yunniang went to the Xu family first to bring Li Ping home.
"Stay at my house a little longer, and then go back later."

Tong Mo then covered Xiu Mei's face with his hair and left with Ye Yun Niang.
