Cai Damei was puzzled. What did she need Li Ping for?
"I need Li Ping to help me with the accounts."
"No way," Cai Damei immediately rejected the idea.
"Madam, I had no choice. One of my arithmetic proficiency specialists has fallen seriously ill and gone home to recuperate."
"There's so much to prepare for regarding droughts and floods. There are so many things to calculate. I've gathered quite a few people, but there are too few who can calculate quickly and accurately," Bao Min explained his predicament.
“Madam, why don’t you go and ask Li Ping?” Bao Min felt that no matter how much he said, it wouldn’t be as good as Li Ping’s own willingness.
Cai Damei thought about it and agreed. However, before telling Li Ping, she needed to talk to Ye Yunniang first.
Ye Yunniang was displeased upon hearing this.
Pingping was only four years old; how could she possibly cope with the scheming and intrigue of adults?
However, out of respect for the child, the two decided to communicate with Li Ping.
"Mother, if I say I want to go, will you be angry?" Li Ping stared at Ye Yunniang, watching her reaction.
"No." How could Ye Yunniang be angry with her son? "You really want to go?"
Li Ping nodded vigorously. He liked arithmetic, but didn't want to go to school and study properly.
Bao Min's suggestion perfectly satisfied Li Ping's desire to learn arithmetic.
"Alright, go ahead." Ye Yunniang granted her son's wish.
After leaving the room, Ye Yunniang discussed with Cai Damei, "Pingping is only 4 years old. I'm worried about him going alone. I'm thinking of quitting my temporary manager's job and staying with Pingping."
“Don’t give up the opportunity because of the child.” Cai Damei disagreed. “I’ll go to Bao Min and ask him to arrange someone to take care of Pingping.”
"Wouldn't that be inappropriate?"
“What’s wrong with that? If he asks Pingping to do something, then he has to take good care of Pingping.” Cai Damei told Ye Yunniang to go to Baise Embroidery Shop as a manager without worry, and that she would keep an eye on Li Ping.
Bao Min had already decided who would take care of Li Ping: "I'll have Tong Mo follow Li Ping and protect him."
"It's good that Tong Mo doesn't bully him." Cai Damei didn't have a good impression of Tong Mo.
“He wouldn’t dare. I guarantee Li Ping won’t be bullied at all,” Bao Min assured him, patting his chest.
If Tong Mo dares to act dishonestly, I will send him back to the capital.
Having finally escaped from the clutches of the four great mountains, Tong Mo naturally had no desire to return.
Even if you're a thousand times unwilling to take care of children, you have no choice but to accept it.

"Come back," Bao Min called to Tong Mo, who was rushing out the door.
"What?" Tong Mo asked impatiently.
"Don't say that your uncle doesn't support you." Bao Min said, taking out a bag of silver and tossing it to Tong Mo.
Tong Mo took it and weighed it in his hand. "Thanks, Uncle."
Tong Mo left, brushing past Luo Xin who was coming in.
"Sir, Wang Jizu has been arrested and imprisoned for theft."
Wang Jizu attacked Ye Yunniang twice. This affected Cai Damei's mood, so Bao Min asked Luo Xin to find someone to plan a robbery against Wang Jizu.
Wang Jizu could be sent to work as a laborer in a mine for the rest of his life by robbing silver.
Three days after the Wang family incident, Liang Maimiao came to the Li family.
Ye Yunniang poured her water as usual.
Liang Maimiao took the cup and looked at the chrysanthemum tea inside.
"Did you know about He Miao's scheme against you?"
"What are you plotting against me for?" Ye Yunniang looked at Liang Maimiao in confusion.
"No, it's nothing."
"How is Hemiao doing now? Have the Liang family and the Wang family reached an agreement on a solution?"
Liang Maimiao gave a bitter smile. "It's resolved." But the result of the resolution was something Liang Maimiao didn't want to see.
After seeing the guests off, Madam Wang immediately ordered her men to beat Liang Hemiao to death.
Liang Maimiao and the Liang family relatives who came to escort the bride risked their lives to protect her.
The two sides remained deadlocked until Wang Dashan, whose wound had been bandaged, came to stop them.
Wang Dashan told the Liang family to take Liang Hemiao back, saying they didn't want a daughter-in-law like that. He also told the Liang family to give them an explanation within three days, or he would sue them for marriage fraud.
Liang Hemiao refused to leave, repeatedly insisting that she hadn't done anything to wrong Wang Jinsheng. She wasn't pregnant; she was innocent. She was a member of the Wang family, and she wouldn't leave them.
Finally, one of the elders accompanying the bride couldn't stand Liang Hemiao's shouting any longer, so he tore off a piece of tablecloth, tied her up, gagged her, and carried her back to the Yang family home.
The Yang family saw off their guests, feeling a sense of loss, as their youngest daughter/sister was getting married.
Liang Hemiao was carried back to the Yang family.
"Who hit you, He Miao?" Yang Guihua noticed Liang He Miao's swollen face immediately.
"Father, Mother, let's go inside and talk." Liang Maimiao didn't want to talk about their embarrassing family matters at the door.
“Liang Maimiao, your sister has been bullied. Instead of helping her, you carried her back here. Boss, grab your weapons, let’s go to the Wang family and demand an explanation.” Yang Guihua said as she rushed out.
"You're not allowed to go." Liang Fu called out to Yang Guihua, walked up to the elders who had accompanied the bride, thanked them for their hard work, and invited them inside to talk.
The family entered the house.
The elders who were escorting the bride spoke up and told her what they had seen.
Liang Maimiao also shared what she had seen.
After seeing off his relatives and friends, Liang Fu turned around and slapped Liang Hemiao across the face.
"Tell me, who is that man?"
“I’m not pregnant. That doctor is talking nonsense,” Liang Hemiao retorted confidently.
"If you don't tell me, I'll beat you to death today." Enraged, Liang Fu grabbed a stool from the side and was about to smash it on Liang Hemiao.
