“Help…Help!”

The crew on the ferry shouted for help while trying to salvage the damaged deck of the ferry.

In this world accustomed to the presence of various superheroes, especially heroes like Superman who will follow his followers and call for help from all over the world, everyone has basically developed the habit of calling for help when they encounter danger.

The sea was rolling with turbulent waves, and wave after wave hit the ferry's hull, almost overturning the shaky ferry.

The crew tried to call for help until a white shadow suddenly appeared above them. They looked up with hope in their eyes and saw a child in a white hooded cloak looking down at them.

"Kid...?" The crew member looked at the figure who looked no more than five or six years old and asked hesitantly, "You, you are?"

Messiah seemed not to notice the hesitation in the crew member's eyes and said calmly, "Messiah."

The crew murmured the Messiah's name: "Messiah...Savior?"

In the Bible, the Messiah is the savior who will bring salvation to mankind. Is this little...superhero...? 's code name referring to that?

Messiah's eyes swept over the broken hull. He stretched out his palm towards the ferry, and golden energy gushed out from his palm. A soft golden film wrapped around the ferry, lifting it out of the sea.

The ferry wrapped in a golden film floated on the sea.

The crew looked at the golden film wrapped around the ferry with curiosity and couldn't help but reach out and poke the film.

Messiah paused slightly when he saw the crew member touching his power, but he did not quickly retract the film as he had done before for fear that the power would hurt others.

After using his power to save people several times, Messiah discovered that his power seemed to be able to be used not only for destruction but also for salvation.

Messiah used his super vision to scan the hull and found that seawater had seeped into the deck and cabin of the ferry. He then used a bit of his strength to make the golden film wrapped around the hull flow again.

After the golden film wrapped the seawater inside the ship, Messiah snapped his fingers and the seawater instantly returned to the sea.

In the shadow of the sea, a certain being moved, and Messiah's movements paused imperceptibly.

...Is it him?

Messiah tried to focus his attention back on the damaged hull, trying not to pay attention to the man who had been silent, pretending that he had not noticed him.

Looking at the damaged hull, Messiah hesitated for a moment and still chose not to repair the hull for the crew.

He hasn't learned anything about ships yet... If the situation like last time where he emptied the fuel tank of an airplane and almost caused the rescued plane to crash happens again, it would be better for him to just send the ship directly to the destination.

Thinking of the pile of books and study materials Bruce had prepared for him in the Batcave, Messiah tried to hold back his expression, but his chubby face couldn't help but wrinkle.

Fortunately, the hood hid his expression, allowing Messiah to maintain his image in front of the crew members he rescued.

The crew looked up at the Messiah floating in the air. The white hood blocked the Messiah's face, leaving only his white chin exposed.

The Messiah seemed to be looking at them, but also seemed not to be looking at them. The crew could only feel some invisible presence sweeping over their bodies.

It was already night in Gotham, but here on the other side of the world, it was still bright and sunny daytime.

Through the golden film, the crew gazed at the Messiah in a trance. The sunlight cast a hazy shadow over the Messiah. At this moment, in their eyes, the Messiah actually took on a sense of holiness.

It's like...the Holy Son given to them by God.

Messiah lowered his eyes to look at the crew on the deck. He ignored their dazed expressions and asked, "Where is your destination?"

No one on the deck responded.

Messiah suppressed the urge to look down at himself. The crew members' unusual behavior made him wonder if there was something wrong with his tights, but he knew that it was only because he cared too much about his tights that he thought about it in that direction.

"destination?"

Messiah concealed the unnatural expression on his face and asked again patiently.

The crew members then reacted and realized that Messiah was going to take them to their destination, so they quickly said the name of the place.

Messiah nodded, his gaze crossed the space and landed at the ferry's destination. After confirming the landing site, he prepared to take the ferry to jump through space.

Seeing that Messiah was about to leave, a certain existence that had been hiding in the sea finally revealed itself and called out to Messiah.

A vortex of water formed in the sea, and a blond man holding a trident slowly emerged above the sea, his face was terrifyingly familiar.

Messiah froze in place. He had thought that as long as he left as soon as possible, he would not have to meet this person.

The king of Atlantis, the lord of the seven seas - Aquaman.

Aquaman smiled heartily at Messiah, his rugged features full of kindness and a hint of mischief in his eyes: "Messiah, has Bat ever mentioned me to you?"

Messiah looked at Aquaman's blue eyes that flashed with intimacy, but what emerged in his mind was another pair of blue eyes filled with hatred.

The owner of those eyes had the same face as the Aquaman in front of him, but every time he saw him, his eyes flashed with hatred and anger, and he always wanted this enemy who helped the evil to die.

Messiah slowly called out the name of the owner of the blue eyes: "...Sea King."

"Haha." The sea king's hearty laughter knocked over the approaching seagulls.

The sea water dragged Aquaman closer to Messiah. Messiah stiffened his body and let Aquaman pat his back generously. He listened to Aquaman's gruff voice beside him, "Don't be so polite. I'm your father's friend. Just call me Uncle Arthur."

For the first time, Messiah was so grateful for the existence of the hood, which covered the dazed expression on his face.

Atlantis in the middle of the desert, blue eyes filled with hatred, and fish with sunburned bellies that died of dehydration, all flashed back in Messiah's mind, telling of his past sins.

Messiah couldn't call Aquaman "Uncle Arthur" as a close name as he did to Atlantis in the previous world.

Even though he knew that the Aquaman of this world and the Aquaman of the previous world were the same person, he would rather Aquaman dislike and hate him than have Aquaman get close to him.

Messiah hid his unnatural expression, lowered his hood, and said as calmly as possible, "Sorry, I still have things to do. After I drop them off at their destination, I'll go back to Gotham. I'll take my leave now."

The Sea King didn't think much about it. He patted Messiah's shoulder and said enthusiastically, "If you have something to do, go ahead and leave the rest to me. I'll just take them ashore."

Messiah shook his head stiffly, said "No need" quickly and hurriedly, and then teleported away with the ferry.

Watching Messiah flee, Aquaman rubbed his chin in confusion and studied his face in the reflection of the sea. "Do I look scary?"

Messiah tried hard to dispel the image of Aquaman from his mind and landed at the port of his destination with the ferry.

As the ferry safely landed, the golden film dissipated and the crew cheered.

Messiah lowered his hood and was about to turn and leave, but was stopped by the crew.

"Thank you, Messiah!"

The crew members looked at Messiah with their eyes shining brightly, and said excitedly: "Thank you for saving us!"

Perhaps it was the existence of Aquaman that reminded Messiah of the things in the previous world. Messiah looked at the bright eyes of the crew members and couldn't help but compare them with the people he met in the previous world.

In the previous world, he gained only fear and hatred, but here...

Messiah looked at the joyful expressions of the crew members, and positive emotions of gratitude and admiration continued to flow into Messiah.

I...like this.

The shadow in Messiah's heart was dispelled by these positive emotions. The corners of his mouth unconsciously rose and he nodded to the crew members.

"Next time you're in danger, just call my name," Messiah added.

The crew waved goodbye to Messiah, and Messiah returned to Gotham. In Gotham, Batman and Blue Jay's night patrol was coming to an end.

On the rooftop of the GCPD building, Batman was handing over the criminals caught during today's night patrol to Gordon. Messiah landed lightly on the ground and just as he took off his hood, he met Jason's shining eyes.

"Messiah!" Jason rushed to Messiah's side, his excitement overflowing with words, "You're back!"

Messiah nodded. Jason's joy was infectious, and his tone became lighter. "Well, I'm back!"

Jason excitedly punched Messiah and showed him the gang of thugs tied up on the ground like trophies: "Look, Messiah, these are all my achievements—"

Messiah glanced at the gangsters strung together on the ground. He didn't think that Bruce was the one who strung the gangsters together in a chain from beginning to end.

"Jason, very impressive!" Messiah nodded vigorously and praised, "Extremely impressive."

Jason chuckled, feeling even happier upon hearing his brother's praise.

Batman finished the handover with Gordon and looked at the two little birds whispering together. A smile appeared on his face unconsciously: "Kids..."

He paused deliberately, looking at the two pairs of sparkling eyes cast at him, and his smile widened: "We should go home."

"Great, let's go home!"

Jason raised his hands in cheers, and Messiah cheered along with him.

Batman laughed out loud, and the hearty laughter made Gordon drop the pipe in his mouth.

Gordon looked at Batman in surprise; he rarely saw his old friend show such obvious emotion.

After returning to the Batcave, Dick, who had long since changed out of his Robin uniform, was waiting for their return with Alfred.

Alfred nodded gracefully to them, "Welcome back, Master Bruce, Master Jason, and Master Messiah."

Dick came up with a grin and asked Jason and Messiah, "How was your first night patrol in Gotham?"

Messiah, who had already participated in superhero activities, said nothing and turned to look at Jason who was still in an excited state.

Jason said excitedly: "It's great!"

Simple words couldn't trigger his emotions. Jason couldn't help but pump his fist twice, his blue eyes shining surprisingly brightly: "This is the best day of my life!"

Messiah looked into Jason's sparkling blue eyes and nodded vigorously, "Me too."

Dick laughed heartily, hugging Jason and Messiah on each side, and hugging them tightly. "Then I want to join in—yeah, it's decided. Today will also be the best day of my life."

Bruce took off his hood and laughed softly, and Alfred also smiled unconsciously.

"Master Bruce?" Alfred deliberately called out Bruce's name, attracting the attention of the birds. "Today is the best day for the children. What about you, Master Bruce?"

Dick's eyes lit up instantly, and he pulled Jason, who was also excited, and Messiah, whose cheeks were flushed, to Bruce's side.

"Bruce, Bruce, what about you?"

The little birds acted like a spoiled child towards the big bat, and the big bat chose to raise the white flag in surrender.

Bruce's tone was helpless, but he couldn't hide the smile on his face: "Okay, okay."

"Me too." Bruce hugged his children and chuckled, "This is the best day of my life."

Laughter echoed throughout the Batcave.
