Tang Yue glanced at Huang San, knowing that this man was Yu Wan's confidant and that he was entrusted with many tasks. He nodded his delicate chin, but had no intention of drinking at all.
Huang San never expected him to drink, but when he saw Tang Yue nod, he was so excited that he could hardly control himself.
Seeing this, others wanted to follow suit.
"Master Yue, I salute you."
"Master Yue..."
Tang Yue lowered his eyes, his face expressionless.
That nonchalant attitude, as aloof and distant as ever, was the very thing Yu Wan found most repulsive.
She frowned and lifted her foot.
With a loud "bang," the trash can was kicked over and knocked to the ground.
The scene fell silent.
Yu Wan raised her chin and ordered Tang Yue without any politeness: "Go and order me a glass of watermelon juice from the waiter."
The atmosphere instantly became awkward.
Huang San chuckled and tried to smooth things over, saying, "I'll go."
"Shut up." Yu Wan glanced at Tang Yue, her temper flaring: "Are you going or not?"
Pairs of eyes swept over.
Tang Yue slowly lowered his leg, smiled, and said, "The temperature has dropped significantly recently and the weather is very cold. Watermelon juice is cooling, and drinking too much of it might upset your stomach. How about we switch to apple juice?"
A fleeting aura of aloofness and coldness crossed his face, and he was back to his familiar gentle and modest demeanor from these past few days.
Yu Wan's pent-up anger instantly dissipated by more than half. She had originally intended to cause trouble, and now that she had achieved her goal, she didn't care whether it was watermelon juice or apple juice. She nodded lazily.
