Chapter 75 I wanted to hold his hand back impulsively

"Congratulations, the performance was a great success."

Seeing Yu Wan come down from the stage, Tang Yue walked over.

Yu Wan raised her chin slightly, her smugness overflowing undisguised: "That's for sure."

His arrogance is consistent, yet it's impossible to dislike him.

Tang Yue smiled and said, "It's really amazing. This is the best violin piece I've ever heard."

He wore a baseball cap and slightly raised his head, letting Yu Wan see his bright and deep eyes. Her heart skipped a beat, but she feigned disdain and scoffed, "...sycophant."

"I can't believe it, we actually did it." The band manager patted his chest, his face flushed with excitement.

Not only him, but everyone in the D.song band was fired up, clearly still immersed in that peak musical performance. They had almost given up, but Yu Wan not only gave them hope but also led them to create a miracle.

"Yu..." Yan Ge almost let slip the secret, paused, bowed deeply to Yu Wan, and said with utmost sincerity, "Thank you. If it weren't for your timely help and turning the tide, there wouldn't have been such a wonderful performance."

"You're really amazing." The drummer's eyes lit up with admiration. "I used to have so many prejudices against you. From now on, if anyone dares to say anything bad about you, I'll be the first to beat them to death."

"Goddess, no, Daddy, please accept my deepest respect."

"If you ever need anything, just let us know..."

...

The crowd, one after another, surrounded Yu Wan, unknowingly pushing Tang Yue out of the way.

Tang Yue stood to one side, looking at the sparkling eyes behind Yu Wan's mask, and the corners of his mouth unconsciously turned up.

"Look, D.song is over there."

"It's a masked angel! Take a picture with me, or even just get an autograph."

A large group of students suddenly rushed to the backstage area, and the security guards that Tang Yue had arranged to stand guard at the door were unable to stop them.

Yu Wan frowned slightly, then looked away at Yan Ge: "Don't forget what you promised me. You must not tell anyone about my participation in this film."

She didn't care what others thought at all; she was only worried that if this got back to Old Man Yu, he would start to overthink things if he knew that she had secretly practiced playing the violin and had played it so well.

Therefore, even though she really loved the violin, she could only desperately suppress her impulse. To keep it a secret, she secretly practiced the violin while learning piano, cello, and other instruments when she was young. As a result, Old Man Yu specially built a practice room for her, which was filled with all kinds of expensive musical instruments.

Until the day he bought a Stradivarius, she clearly loved it, but only dared to secretly touch it a few times when no one was around. She was even afraid that Old Man Yu would discover her secret, so she tried every means to tell him that she was learning musical instruments only to defeat her nemesis, Tang Yue.

After entering high school, he never stepped into the music room again. In the end, he found one outside of school, which led to Pei Feng's incident.

Suddenly, all sorts of fragmented memories flooded my mind, and my brow throbbed with pain.

Yu Wan's smile faded, and her breathing became heavy.

Everyone couldn't help but shiver.

Yan Ge solemnly assured him, "Don't worry, we absolutely won't reveal a single word, or we'll be struck by lightning."

They also raised their hands and swore an oath.

Tang Yue stepped past the crowd, naturally took Yu Wan's hand, and then took the violin from her: "We'll leave through the back door; the car is already parked outside."

As the two left, the students screamed and surged forward. Tang Yue, realizing something was wrong, grabbed Yu Wan and ran for their lives.

"call……"

Breathing rapidly, Yu Wan lowered her eyes, her gaze falling on their intertwined hands. The hand holding hers had a broad back, long and beautiful fingers, dazzlingly white under the light.

She curled her lips into a smile and squeezed her hand back forcefully.

Suddenly I really want to be impulsive just this once.

The car was parked right next to the football field. The two got into the back seat and sat down, and Tang Yue urged the driver to drive away. After carefully driving away from Jiangda University and into the brightly lit streets, they looked at each other and smiled simultaneously.

Tang Yue put down his violin, found a bottle of mineral water in the car, unscrewed the cap, and handed it over.

Yu Wan was thirsty, so she took off her mask and drank several mouthfuls before stopping. After drinking, she subconsciously stuck out her little tongue and licked her slightly dry lips.

Tang Yue paused, his deep eyes darkening slightly.

Her forehead was covered with a fine layer of sweat, her eyes were bright, and her cheeks were slightly flushed. She probably didn't realize that she looked exceptionally... alluring at that moment.

"What's wrong?" Yu Wan felt a little uncomfortable under his gaze and touched her face suspiciously. "Is there something on my face?"

Tang Yue nodded, and said in a serious tone, "There's a small piece of paper."

He reached out and stroked her cheek, gently wiping it with his fingertips: "It's gone now."

His hand fell back down to his side, his knuckles gently rubbing together.

It feels as soft as I imagined.

Yu Wan had no doubt whatsoever. Looking out the car window at the street scene, she realized this wasn't the way back. Puzzled, she turned her head and asked, "Where are we going?"

Tang Yue said, "Airport."

Yu Wan looked bewildered: "What are you going to the airport for?"

"Our flight is at midnight; we're going on vacation to California," Tang Yue then explained.

After he finished speaking, the car fell into a long silence.

Yu Wan unconsciously moved her lips, and that dense, sour, and astringent pain in her chest spread once again, the difference being that it was a slow feeling of being moved, and heartache for Old Man Yu.

She turned her face away, trying her best to suppress the tears welling up in her eyes. Her hands, resting on her knees, trembled slightly, betraying her emotions.
