I seem to have lost my sense of time lately. I just follow Jiang Jiang's eating schedule and eat something myself while feeding her. Surprisingly, she seems to enjoy her food when we're eating together.
I was lying on the sofa digesting my food when Jiayi called me. Lin Tao was away on a business trip and she had to go back to her hometown. She asked me to pick up Shuzai, as he wouldn't be back for a couple of days.
I nodded in agreement, tossed my phone aside, and slept until five o'clock.
If I remember correctly, Little Red Flower Kindergarten dismisses students at 4:30 p.m.
I took the subway to the vicinity of the kindergarten and called the teacher as I rushed there. Luckily, the teacher was still there and gave me a good scolding. I lowered my head and apologized.
I was listening to the teacher's teachings when Shuzai became unhappy. He broke free from the teacher's hand, came over, and hugged my leg. My heart softened immediately.
"Aunt Heng, I'm hungry. What are we eating today?"
"What does the little book want to eat?"
"Pizza~"
Okay~
So after the teacher finished grading, I took him to eat pizza. It must be because Jiayi is strict at home; the child is so greedy.
In this family, Lin Tao calls me sister-in-law, Jia Yi treats me like a best friend, and Lin Shu calls me aunt. The family hierarchy is all messed up.
Lin Shuzhen inherited Jiayi's pretty looks; he's a handsome young man with a shy yet adorable smile.
We've discussed having children before, but we're not particularly enthusiastic about it. You said, "Honey, let's talk about having children seriously. I've already spoken to my parents; raising children isn't simple, nor is it something that happens overnight. I asked them not to pressure us to have children just because other families have grandchildren. Of course, my parents are fully supportive. So, this is something we just need to consider. Right now, I don't have any plans to have a child. What about you?"
"I don't have any either."
"Okay, if either of us has these thoughts in the future, we can discuss it again, okay?"
"Um."
"Good girl... Really? You don't want to have children with me? Don't you love me anymore?"
"...You're being so unreasonable. I love you."
"I did not."
"Your Majesty, it's time to retire for the night. We need to get up early tomorrow."

Finally, someone is playing with Jiang Jiang. They are both very happy, and the house is filled with noise. It's already 11 o'clock and they still don't want to go to sleep. Luckily, tomorrow is Saturday, otherwise it would be even more painful to get up early to take the kids to school.
