Chapter 29
I blocked my boss, and then HR notified me that I was fired.
Qi En is much better than me. She organized a party today and a lot of people came. Everyone was very happy. I competed with several people in drinking contests and beat two of them.
This bar has a unique decor; the ceiling is covered with Cupid shooting arrows, and I saw many angels flying around.
Just as the dinner party was about to end, Jiayi called. She heard Qi En's voice and then hung up.
I threw my phone down, too lazy to even move, and slumped onto the sofa, falling asleep. In my half-awake state, I could hear the loud music from the private room; those people were so noisy.
I grabbed a cushion to cover my ears, and felt someone tugging at my clothes. I opened my eyes with difficulty and saw Jiayi... and Lin Tao.
Jiayi looked at me with a disappointed expression, helped me up, and said to Lin Tao, "Take her bag!"

In the car, I grabbed my coat and covered my head, but the sound of the car engine still couldn't be masked. I almost suffocated and felt like vomiting, but I held it in. After I got home, I ran to the bathroom and vomited.
I washed my face and looked at myself in the mirror. My cheeks were flushed, my eyes were bloodshot, and my hair was a mess.
I quickly tidied my hair, then turned my head and saw Jiayi holding a glass of lemonade, staring at me with an unfriendly gaze.
I avoided her gaze, walked over, drank the water, and then urged them to leave: "Thank you, thank you for your trouble. I didn't drink much, you can go back now."
Jiayi's eyes reddened, she glared at me resentfully, turned and left, slamming the door shut with a deafening crash.
Lin Tao stood in the living room looking somewhat lost. I gestured to him with my lip, "Go and comfort Jiayi."
He seemed conflicted as well, and after a long while, he picked up Jiayi's coat and chased after her.
After they all left, I went over and locked the door.
I remember there was still half a bottle of liquor left at home.
