Pirit felt annoyed and gritted his teeth.
"That's none of your concern! You can just try to see if I'm lying!"
"The dragon in the lake isn't as invincible as you think!"
He was afraid that if he continued to talk to this short-sighted wizard, his already limited life would be shortened.
So he turned his attention to Gao Chen, whom he thought was reliable.
"I do have a way to survive, but it's been swallowed by the dragon. Chen, I need you to help me get it back."
"A few unverified battle experiences in exchange for the treasure in the dragon's belly that can save your life?" Gao Chen shook his head. "You don't have enough chips."
"And we need to do it in the fifteen minutes you have left to be awake. After all, we don't know how to use that thing and we can't save you."
“The conditions are too harsh.”
Gao Chen's refusal was already within Pirit's expectations.
If Gao Chen agreed immediately, he would suspect that Gao Chen was bluffing him.
Pirit curled his lips and said, "Of course it's enough. If I knew the location of the front door, wouldn't my life become more important?"
Gao Chen's expression turned stern.
"The gate is at the bottom of the lake?"
Their path forward was blocked by an underground lake, and what they needed most was a way to move forward.
However, there are almost no forks in the road behind the second bronze stone door.
If they wanted to move forward, they could only find a way out on the lake in front of them.
"Great reaction!" Pirit exclaimed. "You figured it out so quickly. It's a pleasure working with you."
