Chapter 631 Split Scroll Fragments

Nearby are vast deserts and red rock mountains.

The ground is covered in arid gravel, with occasional patches of tough, drought-tolerant plants like shrubs and cacti filling the otherwise drab landscape.

In the distance, the horizon meets the deep blue water, showing a warm red and orange hue.

Under the scorching sun, the air was filled with dust and heat, and occasionally the whistling of wind and sand could be heard.

Jin Shile struggled to brush off the sand on his eyelids and finally managed to open his eyes.

The scene before him instantly made him confused and puzzled.

"Oh my god! What the hell did I get teleported to?"

He muttered to himself, his voice filled with a hint of disbelief and panic.

He looked around and saw nothing but desert ahead.

But vaguely, one can seem to hear the sound of waves hitting the shore in the distance.

When I turned around, I saw the sea.

"What the hell! What kind of terrain is this?!"

This made him even more confused.

Feng Feng also struggled to get up from the ground.

He shook off the sand on his head, took a deep breath of the air that smelled of sea water, and frowned.

"This red-toned terrain certainly doesn't look like Eserle."

There is no such spectacular sight of desert and ocean coexisting in Israel.

There isn't even an ocean near the desert!

He whispered, his tone full of doubt and confusion.

Mai Xuan was the last one to get up from the ground.

He looked around, his eyes flickering as he realized something.

He squatted down, picked up a handful of sand from the ground and examined it carefully.

After doing a few more simple tests, I finally came to a conclusion.

"We are now on the banks of the Red Sea!"

"Red Sea?" Jin Shile was shocked when he heard this. "Are you sure, Boss? How did we get here?"

He stared at Mai Xuan in disbelief, his heart filled with confusion and shock.

Isn't that the sea that connects Africa and Asia?

Why did they get here?!

Directly across the sea!

Mai Xuan glanced at him and a faint smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

"My mom is a geography professor, what do you say?"

There was a hint of pride and confidence in his tone.

Upon hearing this, Jin Shile touched his nose awkwardly.

"Oh, yeah, I almost forgot."

I thought to myself that I was so stupid that I actually forgot about this.

Jin Shile murmured to himself,

"But then again, wouldn't that mean we've already crossed the ocean? That teleportation range is incredibly wide!"

There was a hint of wonder and admiration in his words.

Feng Feng frowned and thought aside.

"Wait, where are those people who were in the secret room with us just now? Why are there only three of us left now?"

He remembered everything clearly, except for the three of them.

There was also a monk, a Christian and a wizard.

They arrived later.

How come there are only three of them left in the blink of an eye?

No one else was teleported here?

impossible!

Feng Feng was very sure that the formation on the floor of the secret room was a teleportation formation!

The others should have left the underground palace as well!

The three of them looked at each other, and a sense of foreboding welled up in their hearts.

Jin Shile was the first to break the silence. He stood up and looked around the shores of the Red Sea, which was both familiar and unfamiliar.

Try to sound firm:

"No matter where they went, we must first understand our situation. Mai Xuan, are you sure this is the Red Sea?"

Mai Xuan nodded, his eyes gleaming with wisdom:

"There's no doubt about it. The sand, the climate, and the iconic sea-sky merging into one in the distance are all typical characteristics of the Red Sea. But..."

He changed the subject, frowning slightly.

"We seem to have been teleported to a very special location. This is neither a regular landing point on the Red Sea coast nor a populated place."

Feng Feng squatted down and began to carefully examine the surrounding sand, hoping to find some clues.

"Could it be that we triggered some unknown mechanism, causing the transmission to go awry?"

Upon hearing this, Jin Shile also squatted down to help search.

At the same time, everything that happened in the underground palace flashed through his mind quickly.

"The formation in that secret room is extremely complex. Perhaps there are some details we haven't noticed. But then again, since we can get here, it means that at least some of the formation's functions are normal."

Mai Xuan raised his glasses, and his words were like a sharp sword in the cold wind, piercing through the fog in everyone's hearts.

"Rather than this, I think we should first think about why there is a teleportation array in the secret room where the artifact is stored."

If they had not reacted in time, they would probably have been like most of the people who stayed in the underground palace, staring at the empty secret room in a daze.

Feng Feng frowned, his eyes gleaming with wisdom, and he spoke slowly.

"Could it be that the secret room we saw is not the final secret room?"

Is the real artifact still hidden in the deeper unknown?

Upon hearing this, Jin Shile widened his eyes in shock.

"No way? Is the process of finding a divine artifact so complicated?"

There was a hint of helplessness and ridicule in his tone.

"Ah, the road to finding the artifact is even more tortuous than the journey to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures!"

They watched as the four groups of people competed with each other and fought fiercely.

Not to mention the strange sacrificial formation, which makes people feel chilled.

It almost caused a triple-digit death toll!

If this isn't the end.

How many people will die in this whole process?
