The worldview of the first book

1. The Great Annihilation

The "Great Annihilation" occurred at the end of the Order Era about 10,000 years ago.

There are certain discrepancies in the records of the Great Annihilation among various city-states, but the more common part is that the Order Era before the Great Annihilation was an era far more prosperous, stable and secure than it is today. At that time, there was an extremely vast continent, and there was no so-called "real border" at the end of the ocean or the land.

After the coming of the "Great Annihilation", the originally normal world was instantly shattered, and endless "sea water" surged in from the void, sweeping and separating all the land, and at the same time brought countless strange and dangerous "anomalies", "visions" and "gods". The essence was that the observer effect failed after the collision of many worlds, resulting in chaos in the underlying laws.

2. The Deep Sea Era

The era after the Great Annihilation is called the "Deep Sea Age", which has continued to this day and shows no signs of ending.

The most notable feature of the deep sea era is that the boundless ocean covers almost the entire world, while the land left is less than 10% of the old era, and all is divided into large and small islands or "foreign lands in the fog". Many city-states today are built on relatively stable islands, and various ocean-going ships have become a means for islands to exchange what they have and communicate with each other.

In the early days of the Deep Sea Age, the remnants of the Old World suffered a heavy blow, and the old civilization was almost completely destroyed. The "Ancient Kingdom of Crete" that first rose from the ruins was the earliest civilization ancestor of the Deep Sea Age that can be traced back to the present. Although this ancient kingdom lasted less than a hundred years, it left behind a large number of legacies that had a profound impact on later generations, including the most primitive and crude classification methods for the many anomalies and visions of the Deep Sea Age, as well as a large amount of valuable experience in maintaining survival in the Deep Sea Age.
