Chapter 27 Was it you that night?

Chapter 27 That Night Was You

Xingyun was slightly startled and subconsciously looked at the master beside her.

Yang Manyan was horrified when he heard this, his head was buzzing, and he was shocked and scared.

Not getting a response from her, Xingyun felt a little overwhelmed.

After hesitating for a long time, Xingyun thought that the emperor would not do anything, maybe just talk about the prince, so she walked towards the outskirts of the imperial garden with the lantern.

Yang Manyan hung his head, wanting to cry but without the tears. However, he still had a glimmer of hope in his heart, hoping that the emperor had forgotten what happened half a year ago.

Unfortunately, things don't always go as planned.

Xiao Ke's sharp eyes were fixed on the girl's hair that was adorned with pearls and jade, and he suddenly snorted coldly.

He clearly remembered that half a year ago she only had a small pearl flower on her head, and looked no different from an ordinary palace maid, but now she had undergone a tremendous change.

After a while, the man's deep, magnetic and majestic voice sounded in the deep night -

"Yang, I know that the woman that night half a year ago was you."

Yang Manyan froze, as if struck by a bolt from the blue.

The emperor narrowed his eyes slightly, "You should be thankful that you have a good father, otherwise you would have died long ago."

During the three years of mourning, the emperor did look for a replacement, but the tax reform would affect the entire system, and he could not find a more suitable candidate than Yang Qianxing, so he promoted him out of the ordinary.

As the man's hot breath approached, Yang Manyan's legs went weak and he almost collapsed, but he was picked up with one hand, as easily as picking up a chicken.

No matter how she struggled, the man's expression was as cold as iron.

"Your Majesty, please forgive me..." She spoke incoherently.

"Your father has just left the capital to survey the land, so I'll spare your life for now." The emperor's eyes were filled with a dark desire for possession, "But you can no longer stay by the prince's side."

Realizing that the man did not mean to kill her to vent his anger, Yang Manyan came back to her senses from her fear.

Countless speculations raced through her mind, and her thoughts were confused, like a tangled mess.

As the world spun, the man suddenly lifted her onto his shoulders and carried her like a bag of rice, walking straight towards Xuanguang Pavilion deep in the Imperial Garden.

Yang Manyan had a vague guess of something, and his heart felt like it was falling into an ice cellar, with pimples all over his body.

Nothing had changed in Xuanguang Pavilion, and the people were still the same, as if they had returned to that beautiful night half a year ago.

The emperor threw her on the bed and then fell down like a mountain, not allowing her to move.

Yang Manyan's heart was pounding. She was pinned between the quilt and the man's tall and burly body. She tried to struggle, but was like a mayfly trying to shake a tree, unable to move at all.

The emperor stared at her delicate eyebrows without blinking, poked her round and fair cheek with his rough fingertips, and his eyes gradually became darker.

He had dreamt of scenes like this countless times in the past six months, and such dreams had become particularly frequent in recent days. He finally realized it again outside of his dreams.

The atmosphere in the mud-gold brocade tent of the bunk bed continued to heat up, becoming increasingly humid and ambiguous.

The windows were wide open, and the moonlight shone in, but the two of them seemed to have completely blended into the endless night.

Her eyes were red, and she sobbed and whispered, "Your Majesty, don't be like this..."

The emperor sneered and pinched her round face, "Do you still remember the scene when we first met?"

Yang Manyan retorted weakly: "No, I don't remember..."

Hearing this, Xiao Ke narrowed his eyes slightly, and the pressure around him became stronger, with a hint of violent murderous aura.

He spoke slowly and carefully: "Whether you remember it or forget it, I will make you remember it again."

Yang Manyan couldn't help but tremble all over.

Compared with the gentle and considerate prince, the strong and heroic man in front of her was like the devil from hell, who could strangle her to death with just a flick of his finger.

Yang Manyan was both ashamed and afraid, and subconsciously wanted to struggle and resist, but it was obvious that he was just trying to stop a chariot with his bare hands and was overestimating his own abilities.

She shook her head with tears in her eyes, "Don't... Your Majesty, it's wrong for us to do this."

The man's voice was hoarse and low. "There's nothing wrong. You are my woman. I can pretend that what happened between you and Zi'an never happened. You'd better forget it completely."

He once again regretted letting go of the delicious food that was right in front of him.

He should have possessed her completely that night and let her give him a real son...

Fortunately, there is still time.

It's his, and it will be his in the end.
