Chapter 136 What I Said in My Heart

That night, they all settled down. Qiu Jing and Zhao Shi borrowed Ning Yizhan's clothes to wear, while Zhao Yan'er wore Qiu Hu's clothes and went back to her own room to rest.

Taking advantage of their inattention, Ning Yizhan secretly slipped into Qiu Hu's room, asking, "Are you going to abandon me?"

"What? Isn't this inconvenient? It wouldn't be good if my parents found out!" Qiu Hu explained.

Before Ning Yizhan could finish speaking, there was a knock on the door. "Sister, sister, are you there?"

It was Zhao Shi. Ning Yizhan opened the door and looked at the short man who looked out of place in his clothes. "What is it?"

Zhao Shi noticed Ning Yizhan's gaze and looked at his trouser legs. He looked down and saw that they were too long, but he would grow taller, okay?

"What are you doing here?" Zhao Shi ignored him and looked at Qiu Hu inside. "I'm looking for Sister Qiu Hu."

"Come in!" Qiu Hu replied from inside.

Ning Yizhan made way for him, "Come in."

Zhao Shi glanced at him and then went inside.

"What brings you here?" Qiu Hu asked, looking at Zhao Shi, who seemed completely bewildered.

Zhao Shi touched his hair, slightly embarrassed, and asked, "Sister, can we talk alone?"

So the siblings both looked at Ning Yizhan, who was still at the door. He immediately understood and gave them space, saying, "Okay, you two chat, I'll go out first."

Ning Yizhan left, considerately closing the door behind him, but still muttered, "What's there to talk about? We've known each other for so long, there's nothing to reminisce about."

He lifted his foot and left, returning to the room next door.

I glanced at it casually; it wasn't as good as Qiu Hu's room. Thumbs down.

Inside the room, Zhao Shi was still struggling with his decision.

Qiu Hu stared at his face for a long time without saying a word. "What is it you want?"

Zhao Shi then stopped dwelling on it and focused on the key point, asking, "Sister, are those really our parents? But I don't remember them at all?"

“That’s true. If you still don’t believe me, you can get a DNA test with them in a while,” Qiu Hu replied to his last question. “Do you remember me?”

"Of course, didn't I say before that our eyes look alike? But I really didn't remember you before."

Zhao Shi patted his useless brain and said in distress, "My brain is really useless! I can't remember anything from when I was a child."

"...Okay, stop filming. You won't remember even if I keep filming, but...don't you know?" your own illness?

She thought her parents would tell Zhao Shi.

"Know what?"

Seeing his blank look, Qiu Hu knew he didn't know. "It's nothing, we'll talk about it later!"

Qiu Hu didn't say anything, and Zhao Shi didn't ask any more questions, instead continuing to ask the questions he wanted to know.

"So, will we be living together from now on? With our mom and dad?" Zhao Shi realized that his biological parents had returned, and he wondered if he would have to live with them.

Qiu Hu gave him an answer: "After dealing with things here, it will most likely be like this."

"That works too!" Zhao Shi was quite happy; living with them should be great.

In the past few days, he has found his highly educated parents and his outstanding older sister.

Zhao Shi then asked many more questions, which Qiu Hu answered one by one. If it weren't for the "gatekeeper" Ning Zhan knocking on the door, Zhao Shi would have continued to ask.

"It's late, Ah Hu, you should go to sleep!" Ning Yizhan's voice came from outside the door.

Zhao Shi glanced at the time; it was already past midnight. Time had flown by so quickly! He was so reluctant to leave! But he didn't want to disturb Qiu Hu's rest.

"Sister, I'll go out now. You should get some rest. Goodnight," Zhao Shi said obediently.

"Okay, good night," Qiu Hu said as he saw him out of the room.

Zhao Shi left, turning back every three steps, feeling secretly pleased. His sister was so gentle. He would definitely be a good younger brother. He was someone with a sister now, and he no longer needed to envy Wei Zhouyu for having several sisters. His sister was the best sister, humph, his own!

"How did the chat go?" Ning Yizhan asked Qiu Hu, who seemed to be in a good mood.

"Hmm, not bad," Qiu Hu lay back down on the bed.

"Oh, what did you talk about?" Ning Yizhan glanced at Qiu Hu again.

"We didn't talk about anything, why are you being so gossipy?" Qiu Hu didn't get a reply from Ning Yizhan. "We really didn't talk about anything, he was the one asking questions and I was the one answering."

"Oh," Ning Yizhan began to move, lying down on the other side of the bed.

"Weren't you in the next room?"

"Yes, but I can't sleep without you by my side. I just tried, and I really can't sleep." Ning Yizhan had indeed gone to the next room to try to fall asleep, but failed.

"..." Is it really that serious? Qiu Hu was skeptical.

Ning Yizhan naturally saw Qiu Hu's disbelieving expression and defended himself, "I'm telling the truth. You're all I can think about, over and over again. So tell me what to do! I can accept not being able to sleep in the same bed, but I can't even accept you!"

"Alright, alright, do whatever you want!" It sounded like she was bullying him. "But it's just about sleeping."

"What else? What do you want to do?" Ning Yizhan asked lazily.

"I'm not talking anymore, you're so annoying, turn off the light!" Qiu Hu pulled the blanket up, turned her back to him, and stopped talking to him.

Goodnight, Ah-hu.

Qiu Hu ignored him, "I said goodnight to you, but you're ignoring me!"

“I did say it, I said it in my heart,” Qiu Hu replied.

"6," Ning Yizhan responded digitally, adding that his woman would use stream of consciousness.

After a good night's sleep, I woke up the next day to Qiu Jing's knocking on the door. "Ah Hu, get up, breakfast is ready!"

Qiu Hu woke up immediately upon hearing the sound, as did Ning Yizhan, both looking bewildered. Was there even a wake-up service?

I glanced at the time; it was eight o'clock.

"Should I leave?" Ning Yizhan asked, staring at his messy hair.

"No need," Qiu Hu shouted at the door, "Okay, I'll be there in a bit, you guys eat first."

"Okay, hurry up!"

Qiu Jing walked downstairs, and Zhao Yan'er had already brought out breakfast. "How is it? Did you call them?"

"I called out, but there was no response from Ning's room."

"No sound? Is it sleeping so soundly?"

Qiu Jing wondered, "Oh no, could that kid be in Ah Hu's room?" He paced back and forth, "No, I have to go check."

"Hey, hey, what are you looking at? If you were here, it would be too late for you to go now," Zhao Yan'er called out to Qiu Jing.

"We caught him! Let's give him a beating!"

"Tch, do you think you can beat him?" Zhao Yan'er said disdainfully.

"I bet he won't dare fight back."

“Sit down, Ah Hu is a grown man, save yourself some trouble,” Zhao Yan’er pulled him over and pressed him down to sit.

Soon after, Ning Yizhan and Qiu Hu came downstairs one after the other, and Qiu Jing gave them a deep look.

"Xiao Ning, I knocked on your door just now, why didn't you answer me?"
