"But what if?" Qiu Hu was still worried.
Ning Yizhan, who was about to start the car, stopped again, grasped Qiu Hu's hand, and said, "Shall we wait here for news?"
“Okay,” Qiu Hu replied, bowing his head.
Suddenly, Qiu Hu's phone vibrated. Someone was calling. She took it out of her pocket and saw that it was Dao Zhong.
"Hey, Michishige, what's up?"
"Chou Hu, you should thank me properly this time! I did you a huge favor." Dao Zhong's tone was quite smug.
"What's going on? I'm in a complete mess right now!" Qiu Hu wasn't in a good mood either.
"Didn't I tell you before that my senior brother went to work at Colin's research institute and became your dad's assistant? But I later found out that it wasn't my senior brother. But that's not important. What's important is that Daozhong was interrupted before he could finish speaking."
"Yes, there was just an explosion there! They seem to be inside!" Qiu Hu couldn't accept this fact; his nose tingled, and tears welled up in his eyes.

Daozhong wouldn't lie to her; it must be true.
"What's wrong?" Ning Yizhan asked, noticing that she had just answered a phone call and was still so happy.
Qiu Hu received the location and handed it to Ning Yizhan, saying, "Drive quickly to this place!"
Ning Yizhan glanced at the distance; it wasn't far. He started the car and asked, "What happened?"
"My dad's here, hurry up, Daozhong just said so!"
About ten minutes later, they arrived at the agreed location. It was almost night, and the nearby streets were deserted.
"Why is nobody here? I'll get out and check!"
"I'll go," Ning Yizhan said, fearing there might be danger and not wanting anything to happen to Qiu Hu.
"I'll go, I'll go, I'll be careful," Qiu Hu said, seeing that Ning Yizhan still wanted to say something. She quickly opened the car door and got out.
"Be careful," he immediately warned as she got out of the car, while also keeping an eye on their surroundings.
Qiu Hu got out of the car and looked around several times, but didn't see anyone. "What's going on?"
Just as she was about to call Daozhong again, a man attacked her, and her phone fell to the ground. The man was about the same height as Ning Yizhan, but his punches and kicks were not as ruthless as Ning Yizhan's. However, she could still tell that he was a martial arts practitioner who had been practicing for many years. Moreover, he was injured and bleeding from his abdomen.
Ning Yizhan immediately noticed her situation and got out of the car to help Qiu Hu. When Qiu Hu saw Ning Yizhan arrive, she immediately told her to take over the man's moves.
Ning Yizhan felt increasingly uneasy as the fight progressed. This man's fighting style was clearly derived from military tactics. He tentatively asked, "Who are you? Do you know Qiu Jing? We've come to pick him up."
Upon hearing this, the man paused. Seeing his movement, Ning Yizhan didn't hold back and punched him in the shoulder. The man staggered back a few meters and half-squatted on the ground.

Qiu Hu and Ning Yizhan shone their flashlights inside and, sure enough, it was Qiu Jing. They helped him out and put him in the car. Ning Yizhan then helped the man on the ground up, asking, "Can you stand up?"
"Yes, that punch really hit hard!"
Ning Yizhan: Who told you to hit Qiu Hu just now? He saw it all. He would have been too lenient to just punch you.
After everyone got on the bus, Ning Yizhan handed the man a first-aid kit.
The car restarted, and no one spoke.
"Ah Hu, are you hurt?"
"No."
Looking at Qiu Jing, who was still unconscious, Qiu Hu asked with some concern, "Why hasn't my dad woken up yet?"
"He was stunned by the shock."
At this moment, Qiu Hu saw his face clearly and felt that it looked somewhat familiar. "You look familiar!"
"Jing Hua, commander of a certain legion in Xingcheng?" Ning Yizhan guessed.
"President Ning, you have a good eye," he said. His voice was completely different from Ning Yizhan's; it was deeper and more steady.
"Each other is the same."
The man treated his wound simply and already had the strength to laugh lightly.

"It was a secret mission, and I also helped a friend rescue someone. I wasn't alone; there was just an accident along the way, and my men were a little late." Jing Hua avoided mentioning his important matters and explained the situation.
Qiu Hu knew that the person he had saved was his father, and sincerely thanked him, saying, "Thank you!"
