"You should go back first. Your uncle and aunt are in such a state and need your care. I'll stay here."
"Alright then!"
The group boarded the plane, leaving Ning Yizhan and Qiu Hu still talking, "Isn't Jing Hua coming up?"
"He still has things to do, he's waiting for his people, why are you so concerned about him?"
Hearing the jealous tone in his voice, Qiu Hu chuckled and said, "I was just asking. Alright, I'm leaving now! Come back safe and sound!"
"Okay," Ning Yizhan stroked Qiu Hu's head and kissed her forehead. "Be a good girl and wait for me to come back!"
"Okay, I'm off," Qiu Hu smiled for the first time in many days, and Ning Yizhan smiled along with her, watching her board the plane with a smile.
Ning Yizhan watched Qiu Hu leave before moving on.
"I never imagined that President Ning had such a gentle side!"
"Hmph, what's it to you! Our friendship ends here." Ning Yizhan reverted to his usual cold and stern demeanor.
Jing Hua looked at the man in front of her, who was a few years younger than her, but whose imposing manner was in no way inferior to her own. "Why are you being so strict? Let's make friends?"
Ning Yizhan rarely makes friends, even with very capable people; he has "no interest" in them.
"Hey, hey, don't do that, that punch you threw was pretty hard."
Ning Yizhan didn't want to continue the conversation and chose to walk away, but Jing Hua followed him, saying, "Don't follow me."
"Let's talk about cooperation. One of my tasks is to eliminate the Colin family. My people are here, and it will probably take your people a while to act alone. If we cooperate, I can bring my people in as well. That way, you can finish your work sooner, and I can complete my mission."
“Okay,” Ning Yizhan agreed, after all, no one would complain about going home too early.
Over here, on the plane, Qiu Hu looked down and saw Ning Yizhan still talking to Jing Hua.
She finally breathed a sigh of relief; all of this was finally over, and her three relatives had returned.
Everything should be moving in a positive direction now!
A few hours later, the plane landed on Huxi Island. Qiu Jing and his wife still needed to stay in the hospital for observation, but Huxi Island had enough medical equipment, so Qiu Hu brought them back.
She glanced at the time; it was already past midnight. She took Zhao Shi home, where he took a shower and rested for a while. The next morning, she planned to go and talk to A Yi.
