Six-year-old Ning Huo gradually became less clingy to her mother. She was very clever, but she still caused Ning Yizhan a lot of trouble.
He's become the little devil of kindergarten; seeing his deskmate with a little sister, he's started to feel envious again.

“Then let’s finish talking before I go to sleep!” Ning Yizhan said, sitting on the edge of his bed.
"What are you talking about?" Xiao Ning asked, looking up at Ning Yizhan sitting on his bed with a slight frown.
If it weren't for the fact that he was his father, he would have kicked him away long ago.
"You want to talk about your sister."
"Didn't you say you wouldn't give it to me?"
"Well, that's why I'm here to talk to you about this."

The two remained silent for a while, Ning Huo waiting for Ning Yizhan to speak.
On the other side, Ning Yizhan was organizing his thoughts, "When Mom gave birth to you, she was in a lot of pain, and... she was in pain for a long time before she finally gave birth to you. It took her a long time to recover, so we only need you as our child. As the person I love most, I will never let Mom go through that again. Ning Huo, do you understand?"

It was the weekend, and it was Xiao Ning's classmate Xiao Gu's birthday. Xiao Ning was invited to Gu's party.
Xiao Gu took Ninghuo to see his sister, a baby who was only a few months old and still in her crib. "Ninghuo, this is my sister, Gu Yingyu."
Xiao Ning glanced at it twice. Gu Jinyu had been telling him how cute his little sister was a few days ago, and now that he saw it, he had to admit, "Gu Jinyu, your little sister is quite cute!"
When his younger sister was praised, the older brother's pride swelled up, "Right? I was right."
"Ning Huo, why don't you have a younger sister yet?"
Ning Huo remembered what Ning Yizhan had said to him a few days ago, but he couldn't say those words out loud. He could only say, "I think it's good to have only one child in the family."
