At 8 p.m., the Ning family's high-rise building boasts a bustling night view.

Ning Yizhan was much taller than her. He turned around and looked down at her, his words filled with resentment, "If I hadn't come to find you, would you not have come to find me?"
She had considered coming to him to tell him her plans, but she figured he wouldn't want to hear what she had to say. She'd been thinking of different ways to phrase things to minimize the hurt.
"Get in the car first, we'll go to your house." Qiu Hu planned to go to his house to get the necklace back. She was afraid that if the necklace was with him, it would implicate him sooner or later, and she didn't want that to happen.
Ning Yizhan didn't understand why he wanted to go to his house. "Why would you go to my house?"
"You go first." Qiu Hu was still stalling and keeping him in suspense. If he told Ning Yizhan now, Ning Yizhan definitely wouldn't go.
Ning Yizhan had a feeling that nothing good was coming, but he still went to her house as she asked. He figured he could deal with whatever came his way. Soon, they arrived at her house.
They entered the house one after the other. Before the lights were even turned on, Qiu Hu was pushed against the wall by the man behind her. He grabbed her waist with both hands, and in the darkness, the man in front of her could accurately capture the woman's soft lips, biting them fiercely and precisely, his possessiveness evident in his kisses.
