She looked and realized the sheets had been changed; the original black sheets were now blue. The trash can nearby was almost full, filled with torn packaging and wads of tissues. How much did this man use? She quickly looked away, her gaze falling on the bedside table, where a condom lay, seemingly about to be opened. "..."
She rubbed her forehead, wishing she could faint.
The man returned quickly. He took the thermometer and put it on her forehead; it read 37.8 degrees Celsius. The man couldn't help but frown. "She definitely has a fever."
"Ah Hu, I'll go get you some fever reducer."
"No need, I don't want to take medicine. I'll just take a nap," Qiu Hu complained, looking at Ning Yizhan with a look of annoyance. What did this man do yesterday to make her have a fever? He was fine after getting caught in the rain yesterday, so why did she get a fever?
"Okay, then I'll pour you a glass of water." Even if you don't take the medicine, you still need to drink water, right?
Ning Yizhan poured her a glass of water and sat by the bed watching her drink several sips before he slowly felt relieved.

"Okay," Ning Yizhan knew she would be embarrassed, so he obediently turned around and faced away from her. He waited until she was dressed before turning back around. "Do you want something to eat, or do you want to continue sleeping?"
Qiu Hu was actually a little hungry, but she was really tired and sleepy, so she chose to continue sleeping. "I want to continue sleeping."
“Okay,” Ning Yizhan then asked another surprising question, “Do you need some medicine applied there?” His eyes were still glancing towards the area under the blanket.
Qiu Hu had just calmed down when her face started to turn red again. "No need, I need to rest," she said, and without looking at the man's reaction, she pulled the blanket over her head.
In just three seconds, the man pulled the blanket off. "Alright, don't cover your head with the blanket. You still have a fever. I won't say anything more. You should rest."
Qiu Hu rolled her eyes at the man, as if to say, "So you know you should rest? Then why aren't you leaving?"
Ning Yizhan was amused by her appearance and stopped teasing her. "Okay, I know. I'll go out first. You get some rest. Call me if you need anything."
Qiu Hu nodded in satisfaction, thinking that she was sensible enough. Then she watched Ning Yizhan leave the bedroom, looking back every few steps. But Qiu Hu was really tired, and she fell asleep as soon as she lay down.
When she woke up again, it was already three in the afternoon. Her legs ached, and she went into the bathroom. She glanced at the shower area, and her face flushed again; she had completely let loose last night. She quickly washed up before heading to the bedroom.
Upon entering the living room, he found Ning Yizhan working on official business. He was sitting on the floor with his laptop on the coffee table, one leg bent and the other hand propped up on it. He heard a sound, looked up in the direction Qiu Hu had come from, and sure enough, she was awake. He quickly put down his work, got up, and walked over to her. "You're up?"
He touched her forehead again, his face beaming with a smile, "Hmm, the fever's gone. Ah Hu's health is still very good."
"..." I dare not admit that.
He took Qiu Hu's hand and led her to the kitchen. "Come on, let's eat. I made you some porridge, it's still hot." He pulled her to sit down, served her and himself two bowls of porridge, and sat down to eat with her.
"Didn't you eat?"
"I'll be waiting for you!"
"Okay!" So he was still waiting for her to come along.
"How are you? Does it hurt a lot?"
"Cough cough cough, nothing much, can you please stop saying such shocking things every time you speak!" Qiu Hu was really a little embarrassed and angry.
Ning Yizhan felt wronged. He was genuinely asking the question seriously, without any hidden agenda. "No, I'm asking very seriously. You're just overthinking things every time."
...The feeling of being outmaneuvered, "I'm hungry, let's eat."
"Okay, eat!"
I don't know if Qiu Hu was too hungry or if he was sick and had no appetite, but he only ate a few bites and then stopped eating. "Why aren't you eating? Don't you like it?"
"I don't have much of an appetite, I don't want to eat anymore, you can eat it for me." Qiu Hu pushed the porridge in front of him, pleading with him in his eyes.
Ning Yizhan had already finished his bowl of porridge. Seeing Qiu Hu's pleading eyes, his heart softened, and he finished it for her. "Aren't you hungry? What would you like to eat? I'll make it for you."
Qiu Hu shook her head; she didn't want to eat anything, "I just want to go back to bed."
"Okay," Ning Yizhan said, looking at his listless appearance. He walked over to her, picked her up, and carried her back to the bedroom, putting her back in bed. "Go back to sleep?"
Qiu Hu shook her head, saying, "I'm not sleepy." She herself didn't know why she felt this way.
Ning Yizhan looked at her and felt that something was off about her, that she was acting strangely. He hugged her and asked softly, "What's wrong with you, hmm?"
Qiu Hu shook his head again, "I don't know, I'm just feeling a bit down."
“Let’s do it again. You were quite excited yesterday.”
"Get out," she was definitely not overthinking it.
"Then I'll lie down with you for a while! Is that alright?" After thinking it over, Ning Yizhan could only come up with this as the only option that Qiu Hu would reluctantly agree to.
"Okay, then come up here!" Sure enough, she agreed.
Ning Yizhan climbed into bed, lay down next to her, and gently put his arm around her. They remained silent for a long time. "Can I ask you a question? Why did you suddenly come to see me?"
"It's a very simple reason, because I wanted to see you. I don't know why, I just wanted to see you, my desire to see you was very strong, so I swallowed my pride and came to find you." Qiu Hu had her back to him. "Will you blame me?"
"Why did you suddenly want to see me?" Ning Yizhan asked casually, playing with the woman's hair behind her back.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have treated you that way before, I even distrusted you." Qiu Hu suddenly turned around, looking at the man she had abandoned. "Will you blame me? You will blame me, won't you!"
"Oh no, they'll definitely blame you. What should we do then?"

"Let me ask you another question: what is our relationship now?"
Qiu Hu pondered for a moment. He had originally wanted to say "boyfriend and girlfriend," but since they had indeed broken up and hadn't said they would get back together, he suddenly thought of, "You are my man."
