"I'm ignoring you, I'm going to take a shower." Qiu Hu felt she couldn't continue the conversation; she couldn't win against Ning Yizhan.
At night, Qiu Hu was lying in bed with her eyes closed, waiting for Ning Yizhan. Ning Yizhan finished his work in the study and returned to his room. He saw that Qiu Hu seemed to be asleep. He got into bed from the other side, put his arm around Qiu Hu's waist, kissed her cheek, and whispered to her, "Goodnight, Ah Hu, I love you."
Qiu Hu wasn't actually asleep; she just had her eyes closed. Unexpectedly, she could still hear Ning Yizhan's bedtime confession. After a long while, she pretended to turn over, hugged Ning Yizhan, and they fell asleep in each other's arms.
Over the weekend, at the Ning family's old residence, Qiu Hu went home to visit the old man. The old man was still in good health. When she arrived home, the old man was not there yet. The servant said that he had gone fishing with an old friend.

The two strolled to the supermarket. Ning Yizhan thought that this woman would definitely stay at home all day tomorrow, so he decided to go to the supermarket to stock up on some goods.

Ning Yizhan followed beside her, watching her carry various snacks without stopping her. Finally, they went to the fresh food section and bought some meat. Ning Yizhan rolled up his shirt sleeves and focused on buying the meat, while Qiu Hu waited for him on the side.

Why did Qiu Hu feel so annoyed? That was her man, Qiu Hu's man! When did it become their place to covet him? And her face—from childhood to adulthood, no one had ever said she wasn't good-looking!
The girl stepped forward, walked up to Ning Yizhan, and said in a low voice, "Handsome, can I add you on WeChat?"
Ning Yizhan's cold voice came from in front of her, "Ugly freak, do you deserve it? Get lost!"
"..." How fierce! She had been observing the man the whole way, and he was being unusually gentle with that girl. But when she approached him, he seemed like a completely different person, and in the end, he walked away in shame.
"How was it?" one of the three girls asked.
"It's not good at all. You'll know once you try it yourself." The girl's gentle tone was completely gone, replaced by anger and embarrassment.

Qiu Hu glanced at his waist; it was indeed long enough to be her ideal size. She couldn't help but step forward and hug his waist. "Did you hear them talking just now?"
