I vaguely remember that when I wrote Hungry Shark, it was purely out of interest.
When I wrote Time Dragon, it was during the pandemic. I was at home with nothing to do, and I was content to eat my fill without worrying about the rest of the family. I was busy playing games and didn't care about the book's performance.
Several years have passed in the blink of an eye, and I'm now married. Although deep down I still feel like that eighteen-year-old boy, my receding hairline, the stubble that's starting to grow, and the lack of interest in games are all reminding me that it's time to face life head-on.
Things are different now than they used to be.
Writing books remains my hobby, but it's also a way to make a living.
