Chapter 1 Son of Red Iron

Chapter 1 Son of Red Iron

Atlanta Land, Sel Wilderness.

A black-feathered, red-beaked eagle flapped its wings and flew across the sky, through lush forests, clear turquoise lakes, and boundless wilderness. It slowed down slightly during the flight and finally landed on a rugged cliff, preening its feathers and looking down.

This place is a huge ring-shaped sinkhole that looks like it was created by a meteorite impact.

The central area has forests and rivers, and is surrounded by steep, protruding cliffs on all sides.

Black Feather Eagle tilted its head, its gaze puzzled. In its field of vision was a creature at the bottom of the sinkhole, constantly mustering all its strength to crash its flesh and blood against the rocks.

It is about six meters long from head to tail, with scales and horns, as well as wings and a long tail. It is clearly a young dragon, but its appearance is somewhat unusual and does not resemble the common species.

Its head resembles that of a red dragon, and it has the swept-back horns of a red dragon. The difference is that the base of the horns is wrapped with shovel-shaped metal bones, forming an angular structure similar to a knight's helmet.

Its dragon scales are layered upon each other, with a black base color that shimmers with silver light. The surface has some patterns and presents a dark red luster similar to lava flowing on an iron plate. The edges of the scales are as sharp as blades, and they reflect a cold obsidian light when they rise and fall with their breath. Overall, it has a very metallic texture.

Although it was a young dragon, it already possessed a ferocity and strength far exceeding that of ordinary wild beasts; its limbs, tail, and wings were all exceptionally strong.

Bang!

Galos, with wings much wider than those of a typical young dragon, flapped its wings and accelerated, crashing headfirst into the base of the cliff in front of it, sending pebbles flying and dust billowing up.

He shook his head and pulled his upper body out of the rock.

Garos shook its dragon scales, removing the small pebbles stuck in the crevices and the dust adhering to its surface. Then it stopped the Sun Mountain behavior that had puzzled Black Feather Eagle and rested against the large hole it had created.

"Six years have passed since I became a dragon."

Galos sighed inwardly, looking down at his dragon claws as they opened and closed and clenched again and again.

It, or rather he, was not a normal dragon.

First of all, he is a hybrid of a red dragon and an iron dragon, which can be seen from his peculiar appearance.

However, although the red iron dragon mixed race is rare, it is still within the normal range.

Both the red dragon and the iron dragon are exemplary evil dragons, both revering strength and power.

One side is the leader of the five-colored dragons, and the other side is the leader of the iron dragon.

Although these two types of dragons are usually fierce competitors and often dislike each other, and will fight whenever they meet, it is not impossible that, as evil dragons who also respect strength, they might suddenly take a liking to each other during a fight, turning the battle into flirting, and then unable to restrain their passion.

What's abnormal is that, more importantly, within this red iron dragon's body lies the soul of a human who has traveled from another world.

That's right, Galos is a time traveler.

He couldn't understand why he had transmigrated, nor did he bother to think about it, because it was pointless. Besides, dragons were far stronger than humans, and Galos, feeling reborn, had already accepted the reality of becoming a dragon.

After being influenced by the Dragon's Legacy, they lived as dragons for six years.

His human soul and dragon nature have now merged and become inseparable, forming a personality that is primarily dragon-like, with a love for power and strength, while also possessing human logic and wisdom. He has the tenacity and strength of a dragon, but without the negative traits of arrogance, conceit, or a morbid obsession with treasure.

In short, that's it.

Take the essence and discard the dross.

Raising his dragon claw, Garus carefully stroked his head, which had been rammed against the mountain for a long time.

The fine scales on the mask and the dragon horns on its head seemed to feel even more solid to the touch.

"Although it's not very obvious, my body has definitely become a little stronger."

The young dragon nodded in satisfaction, its tail, covered in blade-like scales, swaying left and right, sweeping dense scratches across the ground.

For six years, Garus continued to study his dragon body.

Aside from the various supernatural abilities inherent in dragon bodies, he was pleasantly surprised to discover that perhaps due to the combination of his red iron hybrid blood and his human soul, some unknown and wondrous reaction occurred, giving him an innate talent that he possessed compared to other dragons.

— Adaptive evolution.

This talent was not obvious at first, and its effects were negligible and imperceptible. Galus did not realize he had such a talent until he was two years old.

It is actually limited now. It needs to accumulate many training sessions and adaptations day after day to achieve an effective evolution. Moreover, the evolution is not significant, and it also needs to eat to replenish its energy.

Over the years, all that has been done is to make Garros's physique much stronger and tougher than that of a normal young dragon, and his scales now have a metallic texture.

but.

As Garros uses the talent and ages, it grows and evolves, becoming more effective each year than the last, and its potential limit is currently unknown.

As everyone knows, all evolutionary talents are extremely overpowered, and Galos is full of expectations for his future.

"With the long lifespan of dragons and their ability to grow stronger with age, combined with my talent for adaptive evolution, one day I will be able to evolve and strengthen myself to an unbelievable degree."

Galos thought with delight.

Turning its head to glance at the massive mountain, the strong young dragon spread its limbs, creating distance, and then rammed into it again and again, raising dust and scattering rocks.

A bright future is just a dream right now.

As for now... let's continue with Rishan.

This is one of Galos's daily exercises.

Other methods include, but are not limited to, flying into the sky and then free-falling, jumping into a fire to burn oneself, letting the Iron Dragon Girl whip and beat oneself with her tail, and holding one's breath in deep water to try to suffocate oneself.

Time passed slowly.

The sun gradually sets in the west, eventually sinking into the embrace of the distant mountains.

As night fell, the sky was adorned with countless stars, and two moons, one full and one crescent, shone brightly, preventing the world from appearing too dark.

After finishing his workout at Rishan.

Galos left from the obviously collapsed and sunken opening.

There are many, many more such openings around here, all masterpieces of Galus.

On the shore of the crystal-clear lake, Garus's arrival startled away a large number of birds and beasts.

He didn't mind, drank a lot of water in large gulps, and then looked up at the twin moons.

Of these two moons, one has phases that change with the weather, while the other remains a perfectly round 'false moon' that never changes.

The False Moon is actually a celestial magical fortress built by the Elven Empire, Nausir.

Apart from this fake moon.

There are also many twinkling stars that appear no different from other stars, but in reality, they are various 'satellites' created by the various empires using magical means.
