Chapter 110 The Key to Victory

Chapter 110 The Key to Victory

Under the vast and deep night sky, the fierce battle between the hybrid dragon and the diamond giant finally came to an end.

When the battle ended.

As the tension in my heart and muscles eased slightly, my excited mind and body gradually returned to normal.

What followed was a wave of exhaustion and pain.

Galos scratched his head.

One of his horns was broken off. He twisted his neck and looked around. He saw that his broken dragon horn was stuck in the diamond giant's arm, deeply embedded, with dense cracks spreading from the point of impact.

He swayed and stretched his body.

The pain emanating from both inside and outside his body made Galos grimace.

The Dragonfall Strike, exceeding all limits, killed the Diamond Giant, but also seriously injured Garus.

He felt that at least three of his ribs were broken.

Dragon blood flowed from the wounds on his body, pooling on the ground.

This state is only one step away from serious injury.

This almost reached Galos's bottom line.

This battle against the diamond giant was truly dangerous and difficult.

The Diamond Giant's overall level is actually higher than Galus'.

Standing on the earth, relying on its powerful defense and regeneration, it can ignore most of Garos's attacks, while its attacks can break through Garos's scale armor defense and cause effective damage to Garos.

But Galus ultimately won.

Lure the diamond giant away, engage it in a fierce battle in its normal state, feign weakness to lower its guard, then have its entourage arrive at the attack camp to distract it, and finally reveal its trump card and unleash its strongest attack to deliver a fatal blow to the diamond giant.

"I won because I took the initiative, I prepared in advance, and I planned carefully."

Garus reviewed the battle, thinking silently.

If the diamond giant had been prepared, the outcome of this battle might have been very different.

Even a giant as powerful as the diamond giant, with a higher life level and greater strength, was killed by Garus due to carelessness and obvious flaws.

This made Galos realize something profound.

Even after you become stronger, it's best to be cautious until you're strong enough to sweep everything away with absolute power, and not let arrogance and conceit dominate you.

Especially when you decide to take a risk, you must think it over carefully and not act rashly.

Strength is key to victory, but it is not the only factor.

This diamond giant serves as a cautionary tale.

Because he reacted a little too slowly, he was attacked first by Galos. Despite having greater strength, he was trapped in a quagmire and led around step by step, ultimately dying with a heart full of resentment.

"The risks and hidden dangers brought by the stone giant have been resolved."

"I can finally live a peaceful life again."

"I hope there will be fewer ups and downs in the days to come, so that I can develop in peace."

The territory's development is on track, and Garus doesn't want too many unexpected events to happen.

Putting his thoughts aside, Galos's gaze swept over the diamond giant's now shattered body once more.

With its death and the removal of its diamond core, its once radiant body became ordinary, but the broken stones still revealed a diamond-like luster. These were not ordinary diamonds, but magical diamonds with a certain amount of magical energy flowing through them.

The remains of the diamond giant are a considerable fortune.

Used for trading, these magical diamonds can be exchanged for large amounts of black oil or other resources for Garros, or consumed directly. Such magical diamonds are very beneficial to the development of Garros's claws, scales, and bones, increasing their hardness, sharpness, and magic resistance to a certain extent.

The only problem is...

We must fight against the dragon's miserly nature.

"Eating a little bit every day can both promote development and help me develop resistance to the attraction of treasure."

With that thought in mind, Galos picked up a fist-sized magic diamond, took a few deep breaths, and, suppressing the urge to part with it, ate it.

Then he picked up a second one.

The second piece was placed in his mouth, but he found it difficult to swallow, as if every cell in his body was resisting it. Galos felt extremely reluctant to part with it.

But he finally hardened his heart and ate the second piece as well.

When he tried the third piece, Galos was engaged in a fierce struggle with his own desires. His face twitched and his body trembled, but he still couldn't bring himself to take a bite.

However, this is already an improvement.

Previously, Galos was unable to consume two magic gems in a row, but now he has progressed to the third.

"One day, I will be able to eat all the treasures without batting an eye."

Galos thought to himself.

The diamond giant's remains were in many pieces, which were difficult to collect, so he simply ignored them for the time being, keeping only the most precious diamond core close to his body. He then took to the air and flew back towards the stone giant's camp.

The battle at the giants' camp is not yet completely over.

Led by the Gluttonous Demon Karu, Galos's army of kin is besieging the Stone Giants.

Several warlocks cast buff spells on Karu, and the Bloodfang Warlord also used his battle aura to boost his attributes. Now, the Gluttonous Karu is fighting the Granite Giant head-on and is not at all at a disadvantage.

Its heavy punches and kicks are extremely heavy.

It struck the granite giant, which was even larger and stronger than itself, sending fragments of rock flying and dust falling in a flurry.

Bang!

The granite giant sent the glutton flying with a single punch.

But before it could reach out to support the other giants, Gluttony regained its footing.

Its feet shattered the ground, and its body shot forward at an even faster speed like a cannonball, crashing headlong into the chest of the granite giant.

A dull thud.

The granite giant's breastplate shattered in a spiderweb pattern, with shards of stone flying backward like shrapnel.

Its massive, imposing body staggered backward, its face contorted with rage, as it raised its arm to strike at the Gluttonous Demon Karu.

The Gluttonous Demon refused to back down and clashed head-on with the Granite Giant. Their fleshy fists collided with the stone fists, producing a series of dull thuds.

"Take this super magic punch!"

Karu suddenly took a step back, raised his huge fist, and roared.

Upon hearing this, the granite giant became wary, its eyes fixed on the Gluttony Demon's fist.

The next second.

Karu threw a punch, and the Granite Giant simultaneously swung its fist to meet it.

When they collided, the granite giant was somewhat puzzled.

Gluttony's punch seemed unremarkable, with similar force to his previous punches.

At the same time, Karu opened its blood-red maw, within which a powerful energy had been brewing and accumulating.

"mean!"

The granite giant's pupils constricted.

boom!

Karu spat out a murky energy ball at incredible speed, which struck the granite giant directly in the chest at close range, blasting it away and sending it crashing heavily to the ground.

Before the granite giant could even struggle to his feet...

Karudunshi leaped up and slammed into it, unleashing a barrage of punches that left the granite giant unable to get up, its body riddled with collapses and cracks.
